Quicker Recovery?

My friend had larengitus and a fever for about 1 and a half weeks. She's finally recovering, after she was sick for so long. I think I may of caught what my friend has, but I am drinking lots of water (you wouldn't believe how much I'm drinking) and I stayed home today and rested.
Do you think that I will recover faster than my friend? I actually don't feel all too bad, and I don't feel like I'm getting larengitus or anything. Is it possible that my friend just didn't take care of herself properly? (She never drinks any water, just a few sodas, she eats alot of junk food and she didn't rest when she was sick because she had to play soccer.)

Can you lose weight by not eating just for one day? I'm not going anorexic or anything, just wondering.
Another question, what are the foods to eat that will slim you down the quickest? Like salads with no dressing or croutons...

so now since its getting hot, im starting to get really sweaty, and i keep getting teased because of these disguisting sweat stains under my arms. its embarrassing because i keep getting teased. what can i do to solve that problem?

i get acne on my forehead but there are also these LITTLE bumps that look like acne but they arent.. idont know what they are and they arent red and plus they dont hurt.. anyone know what im tlking about? what is this and how can i get rid of them? ill rate 5's

How do you know when your boobs have stopped growing?
Im 16 and my boobs seem to have been this size forever!!! Im a B.
Its annoying because everyone around me has huge boobs and im the only person with tiny ones.
If they have stopped growing can I take a pill to make them bigger??

Ok so im 14/f n i've been getting my period for a while now. I'm going on a school trip soon and I'm pretty sure i'm gonna have my period then. I've never used a tampon before but there is no way i can wear a pad with my bathing suit on this trip. The problem is i'm afriad to use a tampon and i don't know how. Anyone wanna help!?!

okay. i have had my period for about two years now and it has always been regular. this month im about five days late so far. i have never had sex, but is it possible for me to get pregnant still?... when i suck my stomach in, there is a little lump there and like wehn i push on it, it feels funny... could i be pregnant?!

Ok I am trying to eat healthier (cutting down on sweets...nothing extreme) but my family always has candy in the house, where it is hard not to grab some as you walk by the cabinet. Also, my parents love to treat us to ice cream, and bring home ymmuy baked goods, and i just have a hard time declining them. How can I gain more self control over eating sweets?

Hey, I'm 14 years old, I was just wondering if it is possible for a 14 year old to get the birth control pill, but only use it for like a month. Because, I'm going somewheres over the summer for 2 weeks at a camp, and my mom and i calculated the weeks, and most likely i'll have my period then...and i really dont want to get it, because i'll be taking a lot of classes, and i dont want to have to ask to use the bathroom all the time... I'm still using pads, i dont like tampons, maybe tampons would give me more time so i dont have to change my pad every hour...but, get back to me on that whole birth control pill. Thanks! {oh, sorry this was long, and no i dont plan on having sex, thats not what i need the pill for thanks!}

Should a missed pill cause all of this?

Heather, I have been on birth control (orto-tri-cycilin) for about 2 years now. The first year was deifnitally rough constantally missing pills, so my period was always off. Anyways, I have been very consistent with taking them for over a year now, this past week was spring break and insted of taking them at 8am before school, i was taking them around 10am. Also, I ended up missing one half way into the week. I then started my period 2 days after missing it, and that lasted about 3-4 days. Two days after that I woke up the next morning and was bleeding again. It was from the night before. Then it stopped for that day and the next full day. Then it started again, and stopped for a day. And last night I woke up and have been on my period sinc...

ringworm

i have what i thought was a bugbite on my hip. i noticed it about a week ago and it is getting smaller i think... it is a circle that is red with like dry skin in the middle. someone told me that it could be ringworm... im really paranoid about that.. so does it sound like ringworm?

I am 14 years old and haven't gotten my period yet. I am pretty sure all of my firends have gotten it by now. I am also one of the oldest out of my firends (cuz i was born in 91 and everyone else born in 92 but whatever) I play 3 sports and i am wondering of something is wrong with me? My mom got it when she was 16 but my sister got it when she was 11.

ok,im going through that "stage" and i'd like to know,is it better to stay with a product for a long time,or switch off?after two weeks,it stops working for me,should i still try to continue using it even though i dont "think" it will work?
Out of these brands,what do you think is the best?
(i have combination skin,oily around the t-zone)
Biore,Clean and Clear,Cetaphil,Dove,Nuetregina,Velocity.
(you dont actually have to answer the last question,but it would really help!! )
