how did I gain weight?

I've been dieting and just generally eating better for about a month now, and I've lost around 8 pounds. I did this through cutting calories. I also go to the gym at least three times a week, at which I run on the elliptical 3 miles and lift light 2.5 lb weights to try and tone my arms [not trying to gain muscle just trying to keep from losing muscle along with the fat I'm losing]. I also walk to and from my classes, at least a mile total each day. I haven't slipped up at all with my eating habits since I started this diet, yet I went to weigh myself and the scale said I gained two and a half pounds... I'm kinda really upset about it since I have been doing really well with everything, and I could expect maybe staying the same weight b...

One bigger than the other

Hey listen this is kinda embarrassing but one of my breasts is bigger than the other and droops lower. actually alot bigger, you can't tell when i'm wearing a good bra, but when i'm topless its very visible. i'm 15 years old, and its steadily bee bigger for awhile, so i have to know, will my other one catch up, or is it gonna stay like this? i'm already a 34C

bike helmets

ok so i just got a new mountain bike but i dont know if i should use my old bmx bike helmet that is like the one skater guys wear at the skate park or get a new one thats what most people with mountain bike helmets have
can i have some quick answers please cause im kinda in a hurry for school starting up again

so i don't play any sports, havent in about 5 years. use to be in about four sports including gymnastics. i miss being flexible so much! i miss being able to do the splits. i was just wondering how i could become flexible again? like what are some stretches i could do that might let me able do the splits again. its hard for me because i dont push myself. when i was in gymnastic i had an instructor who would make me stay in a position for so long and they would push me to go farther and farther and now i have to put that on myself and i just stop right away. well i was just hoping someone could tell me how to become more flexible, positions, anything! thanks.

work out routine

Hello there,
ok so heres the deal, im 18/f five feet three inches and 135 pounds.
I carry most of my weight in the mid section and i was hopping to lose a few inches around there. I live on residence and have access to a fully equiped gym.
The problem is i have no clue what to do. I always end up doing the same thing. 20 min on the bike and 20 min on the olyptical.
What are some other things i can do? For how long? How many times a week?
* i dont want to become muscular or anything just a lil slimmer. *

bathing suit body

I'm going to california in march and i want to look good in a bathing suit.
I need to lose some weight. I'm not like crazy over weight, i just need to lose at least like 10 or 15 pounds.
I live on campus at a college and they dont always have the best food...
What are some suggestions to losing weight and getting in good form?

Hi, I would really appreciate some help on the following issue please:

My training routine is 6h/week of wing chun, 2h/wk of boxing (includes intense fitness, sparing etc..), 2h/wk of body pump and 1h/wk of spinning
Total of 10 to 12h per week.

I have noticed lately I get out of breath really fast, i.e. i start running for 2/3 minutes and I'm already out of breath !! which is ridiculous...or I spare at boxing for a few minutes and get out of breath ...it did not use to be like this a few month ago..I don't really understand, it seems the more i train the worth it gets...
I eat very healthily, my weight is 69kg for 1m74 and I am 40

Anyone experienced what I'm going thru ?

Treadmill help.

There are two treadmill i'm considering right now. There's one sorta expensive one, and the other is cheap. I know i should hold up and wait till i can actually buy the expensive one, but i'm not sure when i'll be able to get it. I could afford the cheaper one though, and i was wondering if i should buy it. BTW the tradmill is a proform 400X and i'm not quite sure about the other one. Should i buy it...or wait a few (maybe 2-4) more months?
Does anyone have a proform 400x or similar one? how long will it last?

why did i gain weight?

Okay when i was 6 i was 63 poumds and i was really skinny but i still had muscles (natural) i lived in NY and i walked everywhere and i was happy. I ate candy everyday (it sounds bad i kno) but i used to jump around and all. I moved to NJ and ever since fifth grade i started to ain weight. I was a size 2 ant the end of it. People called me emo because i was always sad. I ate junk food and never moved around. Now I am 123 pounds and in 7th grade. Now i have a lot of problems now and i sleep late. What can i do to loose weight and why did i gain it?

Protien Shakes, Yoga, Putting On Weight!

Hi I just went out and purchased a yoga mat, blender, protein shakes and protein Powder. I am a little under weight by like 5-10 lbs and want to be healthy. I want to start doing yoga, having atleast a shake a day and hopefully that will help my put on weight. I purchased the ISOfemme protein powder, it says it is good to have more meals a day, it has hardly any fat and only 1 g or carbs. I thought carbs helped put on weight so I am wondering if this is a good product. On the plus side there is 27g of protein per scoop. I would like to know if I am on teh right track and if this protein powder was a good decision?

Im 13 and i want to get in better shape, not necesarily lose weight, though that would be nice. I play soccer between 3 and 6 days a week. in the winter, i ski on the weekends for 6 hours a day. my dad says i should get up at 5 and run but im tired when i wake up at 6, i dont know if i can do that. what are some good ways for me to exercise around my school and sports schedule?

well i do NOT eat healthy to start out.
and i try to fix that...
it doesn't work out.
i am a SUPER picky eater, so pretty much anything healthy like repels me.
well i take add pills, and those are also appetite depressants.
so i don't get to eat a lot at school, or when they are in my system. (which is only at school, or until it wears off)
so my weight stays a little bit below average.
i'm about 96-99 pounds.
i'm 14 in february.
but are there any ways to help me become a better eater?
i'm just so bad at it because i get cravings, and the food just looks and smells so good.
i'm just trying to tone up my stomach mostly.
i saw this and thought it would be good...

Am I too young to work out or lose weight?

I am 14, and I am uncomfortable with my stomach size. At 12, I weighed 67 pounds and was 4'9, now I weigh 125 and am 5'6. My friends tell me I look fine, but I look fat when I sit down. I am not anorexic or have bulemia or anything. Am I too young to worry about it?

I'm 145lbs and a size 7 and i'd like to fit into atleast a size 5. Also, how can i get rid of tummy fat as well as excess fat on my thighs and arms? I want to lose weight but i don't even know where to start. How long should i exercise each day and how much should my weight loss goal be? I don't live near a gym & can't do any other activities because i'm also caught up ons schoolwork. Thanks!

weight loss plan

i am 5'3
and i weigh 130lbs

i really have a goal to lose weight by this summer
i would like to lose around 20lbs at least,

in order to do this, i plan on eating in more moderation, so less and healthy, and also to run about everynight for a few miles,

so my question is,
does anyone have any tips on making this easier, or any tips in general,
is there any way to make the whole eating better and less easier so you don't get cravings as much?

just any advice would help :]

Weight Loss.

Ugh. Okay, I'm in eleventh grade. I'm about five three and I weigh about 120. I'd be really skinny up until eighth grade. Now I have extra fat on my stomach and love handles.. thighs.. a little on my arms.. and my face. I've tried everything. eating healthier, drinking tons of water, doing tons of crunches, running, you name it. a few times I got desperate and did the starvation thing. Didn't work either. I need someone to do this with me. Someone who either needs help too, or someone who already does this, and can keep me in line. I don't want just tips. I want someone who can keep in touch with me (doesn't matter how) and is willing to do this with me. Please :/

losing weight

alright, i weighed like 158, and now i weight like 168, because of xmas. i really need some help getting on my diet, im trying to ween myself off of the junk food and eating too much, its just really hard. Any fast ways of doing this??

i serioulsy need to get back where i was so i can look good in a bikini
