i have to compare how different newspapers cover one given news story. it has to be something thats current that people are intrested in hearing about. i dont watch the news and when i did i didnt know what people would be intrested in. so if anyone could tell me some current news that their intreseted in. that would be alot of help.

recording tv shows

Okay so I'm trying to record tonight's Gossip Girl. I have cablevision iO. So what I did was I went into the channel guide and I went to channel 11 and to Gossip Girl. I pressed the red button on my remote, and then the session highlighted in red, and next to the information, it said REC in red letters. I've tried recording shows on my TV before, and so while it's recording, I can't change the channel. I'm pretty sure it was actually recording. When it's done, I don't know where to go to watch it. I don't know if I have DVR, so I'm not sure. Do I have to have DVR? Or is there some channel I can go to to watch the shows I record?

Ok, so I like this guy (R). He's really funny, but he's not the brightest crayon. But that's not the point because I don't really care about that. My friend (C) is friends with one of his friends (M) so I asked her if she could try to ask M if he could find out if R liked me or something. What she got back was: M said that, when he asked R what he thought about you, R thinks I'm cool, but we don't talk that much (e.g. I'm guessing he doesn't really know me that well). Today, during class, we're doing mock trial (Political Science) and he kept looking at me. He also says hi to me in the hallways now.
Does this mean he's sort of interested in me? Because it's not like he's looking at me because he thinks I like him...
