I know that when you attend dinners, you should always arrive and sit at chair where the hostess has placed a place card with your name, and that your date should always be on your immediate left. What is the proper thing to do if the hostess has left place cards, but your date is not on your immediate left? Of course, referring to myself as the lady, and my date as my male accompiant.
NOTE:
I am asking this question for my older sister who recently attended a dinner party where this situation occurred. She simply sat where her place card was, and same for her date. Was that the proper thing to do?

I Need A New Purse!

Where can I find some cute purses? I like medium to large purses and there is this cinched style that I like alot. But it doesnt matter what the style is. I just need a really cute purse at an affordable price (preferably not over -or close to- 100)! Any advice?

Box disappeared on program!

And one time when i went on the colour palate box disappeared! It should be in that space on the right and the top icons at the top bar looks kind of empty..I looked in the VIEW button already but it doens't say anything about the colour palette that I could click to show.
Does anyone know how?

I really like iceskating and i want to buy my own pair of skates. i really like using hockey skates cuase i think they are alot easier (without the toepick adn all) but im a girl and i really want prettier skates cause the boy ones are big and green/blue and just boyish haha so i was wondering if it was possible to put hockey blades on a figure skate?

Two Xbox Live profiles?

Ok so I have 2 Xbox profiles on my 360, one mine and the other my bro's. I got the free month gold account for xbox live for my account so is there a way to do the same thing with my bro's profile so we don't have to use a guest profile when we go on Live? I tried doing the same process when I signed up for my account but it came out different when I tried with my bro's. Anyone know how to do it if possible?

Taebo amped comes with like 4 different dvds to workout to and this weight called an amplifier. i was thinking about buying it, has anybody used it? does it show good results? if so, how long did it take ti see the results? thnx in advance to whoever can help me :]!

Proxy Servers.

I have wireless at my house. My boyfriend uses his computer and I have my own laptop. I noticed the other day that he had blocked a particular website. The only way I can get to it is by using a proxy. I've been using various proxy websites to access the blocked site. Is there any way that I can access the website without having to use ninjaproxy.com or proxy.org everytime?

This is going to be a very odd question, hard to answer, and it technically has nothing to with "Spirituality" other than that I would appreciate some answers from a christian point of view. What excatly am I being taught here? All advice is welcome, though.
Well, I've always been low in confidence, but it's the past week that it's gotten extreme, I've literatly spent hours crying for beauty, praying for it, and envying those who have it. Advice for dressing up

Ok well i go to a catholic school and on next friday before the christmas break, we're having this dinner at school that you pay $4 to and it's all day.
And you don't dress down, you dress UP! That means, no jeans allowed!
The teacher says that the girls could wear a skirt...
I don't wear anyhting else BUT jeans though and I do not like wearing skirts,especially in the winter.
Can anyone suggest what else I could wear for the top and bottom? *dressing up
I'm girly but I focuss on what's more appropreate for the season because I don't care but I am NOT wearing a skirt!

can anyone give me ideas on some yoga or anything that can calm my nerves? i dont have time to go to a gym or class so i just need some simple excercises that i can do before i go to bed or something that will calm me down (i dont fall asleep fast) and also something that will keep me awake during school..something that will teach me flexibility to.
