For anyone who can ice skate
I really like iceskating and i want to buy my own pair of skates. i really like using hockey skates cuase i think they are alot easier (without the toepick adn all) but im a girl and i really want prettier skates cause the boy ones are big and green/blue and just boyish haha so i was wondering if it was possible to put hockey blades on a figure skate?

i have a friend who has skates that r half hockey and half figure.
this would probably work easier.
i think you can find them at any store that sells ice skates.

it depends what your using them for
if your just using the skates to go to public sessions at the rink then yeah you should be fine
and you would have to ask your local pro shop if they could do it, but its most likely possible (unless the blades are too big for the boot, or something like that)
if your using the skates for figure skating, then you would need a blade with a toe pick
and if your using the skates for hockey, then you would need hockey boots for the different support
