straight hair

my hair is naturally thick and wavy. if i don't blow-dry it, it gets kinky and weird and frizzy. the same thing happens if i don't straighten it. i really want soft, shiny, straight hair but i'm worried about heat damage. any tips for how i can achieve this? i want to stop using my straightening iron because of the heat damage, does anyone know how i can achieve the same effect without the iron and make it more natural?

My friend Sarah broke up with her bf John about one month ago and they only went out for a month or two. Last night I found out that John cheated on Sarah the day before she broke up with him, but even after she broke up with him, he didn't tell her about it. John only told one of his guy friends who told two other girls. Anyway, I found out last night and I don't know if I should tell Sarah about since my friend pointed out, "nothing good can come of telling her." I think thats true, but I also feel like she deserves to know even though they already broke up for other reasons. i've been going out with an amazing girl the past 13 months. we're both in highschool and she recently got a job. so she's been feeling responsibilities pile up on her. it was all going good until she wanted time to herself.
she said we're very likely to get back together, but it's nothing i haven't heard before. i guess i just need some comforting words.
but i love this girl and she knows that, she loves me back. i don't get how two people can have feelings like that and one just doesn't see a point in going out.

which exercise is better?

Okay, I'm looking at losing weight over a long period of time, so it's not just water weight, and it's a healthy weight loss.
I'm not obese. I'm chubby, and I eat healthy most of the time (I don't eat candy or chocolate, I can't have soft drink so I only drink water & flavoured mineral water and I rarely eat junk food) it's just this exercise I need to think of.
What do you think would be better not only for losing weight, but exercise altogether
Doing 15 minutes (time to increase once I start doing it more) of walking up and down a pretty steep hill, and a walk everyday
or
Doing that exercise where you lie on the ground, lift your legs up and then lower them but...

I've asked this question before, but i didn't get
the answer i was looking for. I am thinking about getting the T•Mobile Dash. Now i have a few questions, and i want to know the answer to all of them.
- How much is it?
- Does internet come with it, if not how much is that?
- Can you get internet connection anywhere if you have service, or only at your house or starbucks? How does this work?

Okay I have two questions about a protest
1) What's that white cardboardy stuff people use for protests thats easily seen and firm? And where would I get it? If I can't get it, what should I use instead?
2) My Mum is SUPER PROTECTIVE of me. When I say super, I mean you seriously have no idea. If she knew I was going to a silent 'let's sit on the ground and hum' protest, she'd freak. Let alone a dangerous one I'm going to. I was going to go with friends, and just tell her I was hanging out with them, but at the last minute they decided they didn't believe in the cause and are leaving me to go by myself.
I could still use that story, but it feels so wrong lying to her. I was thinking of dropping hi...

i have a lot of hair on my arms. And now that summer is comming i want to not have hair on my arms or make it so noticeable. Do u know what to do??? And also just for a summer tip, how long should i stay out in the sun?? b/c i have very light skin, and i get burned easily. And what kind of suscreen could i use. thank you b/c all the boys in skool make fun of my hair and that i'm pale!

okay, i got my period in august 2007, I lost it in october 2007, and now it's march 2008. i heard u loose your period for 3 months. But i lost mine for 6 months. All i do is hump things. i always think i am pregnant but how, b/c my stomach isn't growing and i never had sex. But that is what i think; i know it's stupid. I went to the docters and he said it could be because i am under weight b/c i weigh 85lb and that i'm probably not old enough. What do think??? thank you. ps i would like girls to answer......

Hi I am 17/f and my prom is on beginning of May and I was wondering what hairstyle would look good with this dress I purchased.

Okay I just got my SAT scores back...
540 math
450 reading
380 writing
It was my first time taking it and i was kind of caught off guard... so i just decided to answer EVERYTHING... even the grid in questions in the math (as in just pick a random number) because i COMPLETELY forgot that wrong answers are minus points... so i didnt leave ANYTHING blank...
I also have almost straight A's in all my classes... just one B usually and rest A's... and i take all the honors and AP classes i can...
So with that will I be accepted to USF??? I know no one really knwos but What's the SAT score that USF is looking for??? (University of South Florida)

I had my upper wisdom tooth extracted last Monday (17/03) under a local anaesthetic, following nearly a week of intense pain which my friend, a dentist, initially thought was due to an abscess of or peridonitis. Before it was found to be tooth decay (he did not x-ray my teeth as he was on holiday at the time), he gave me a very short course of antibiotics (3days). At the same time, I was taking 2 nurofen every four hours. By the second day of taking the antibiotics I was waking up at night, my nightdress drenched in sweat and feeling quite ill (aside from my aching gums!). Also, everytime I moved my head in bed, I felt extremely dizzy, as though I'd stepped off a playground roundabout. My tooth was removed by another ...
