birth control pills

I'm a senior in high school, I'll be 18 next month, I'm currently a virgin but I plan on going on birth control pills before I leave for college (sometime over the summer) just to be safe.. but I just realized that I'm scheduled to get my period the day of my senior prom and have it the whole weekend of after prom.. but luckily my friend has an extra month's worth of her birth control pills and offered to give it to me to take so that my period would come after my prom weekend. I read the directions and information that came with the pills but my only concern is if this is really dangerous to do becuase I havent been examined and I'm not telling my parents about it. I plan on stopping the pill after this one month and hopefully starting aga...

Dance Team Music

I'm on the Varsity dance team at my school, and we need a song to go with one of our routines since we're no longer allowed to compete with our old song since it was used by other teams.
It needs to be upbeat, with music changes ( as in beat) but it can't be all techno. please help! any suggestions would be great!

Sadness

I know people get sad, its going to happen, but for at least a month, ive been feeling really sad. I thought about cutting myself, and did it once but not too deep, not enough to kill me, but deep enough. And people at school have just been so...mean and guys have been rude and arrogant, and my parents are fighting and may be getting a divorce and my sister verbally abuses me,i've been doing worse in school and idk, im just DONE. How do i get out of this sadness? I just cant have fun or be happy anymore, and what can i do? I need help and dont want to ask my parents for a therapist, and i try to talk to my friends, but gossip makes it too hard in my school, so i just need some advice on how to get happy again! Thanks

Cavity Needs to be Filled w/ GAS

Hi.
I have to get a cavity filled this Saturday. I hate needles and this is my second cavity ever. I remember last time I was freaking out about the needle. So this time, my dentist recommended me getting the laughing gas or whatever it is called. I am nervous though.
- What does it do?
- Do you still feel the needle?
- Does it make people nauseated?
PLEASE HElP
(I checked the internet and googled it but I want personal experiences!)

and is it true that we can only get pregnant while we are ovulating?
also, if i am on birth control should i still be 100% safe..or is it okay to go without protection(condom)?

period problem

i am 15,
i didnt get my period all through april, and i got it may 2. but it was a very light flow, and it only lasted for two days. ive never ever had any type of sex in my life, ive only had one boyfriend and all i did was kiss him. thats it. i dont even know how to put a tampon in! and it hurts to anyway. but how come that period thing happened? like im not pregnant. i cant be. that would make absoulutely no sense. ive never even touched anything down there. so yeah. that makes no sense. but this like never happens. in my head i feel fat. but thats just my mind confusing me, because this is my natural weight ive always had a bit of a little stomache. but everyone does right? but anyway im confused..please tell me what is wrong with me!

Okay I have this MAJOR crush on this guy but he moved away last semester. We talk on the messanger (msn) all the time. I've told my bff that I like him. But she flirts with him (online) ALL the time. Teacher Troubles

There was recently an incident between a male teacher of mine and a female student that occurred at his house. But it's not exactly what you think--kind of but, let me explain how it happened:
My teacher is an attractive 25-year-old guy that teaches physics so the majority of his students are 17-18...maybe a few 16-year-olds. He's really cool, fun, etc. He gave us all his number in case we ever needed anything...that had to do with Physics. Well a girl called him one night and he tried to help her but she asked to go to his house so he could help her. im not to familiar with the lyrics of this song, but i know the tune. It's by a woman, it's got a really pretty sounding piano playing along with violins and maybe some more stuff.
I dont think these lyrics are right at all, but something like this:

My mom is always mistreating my dad. You can tell she's discontented, but honestly that is her problem. She chose to marry my dad and he tries his best. He just got over his depression and she is there to pull him out of every good mood that follows. This relationship makes me unhappy and very sympathetic for my dad. I've said so much, but she is immune to anything I say. She refuses to go to family counseling. I'll admit, my family doesn't have any baggage rooting from the past, but there is no point of being in a relationship if you aren't going to appreciate the person. Help...how can I change her outlook?

okay so on about thursday i was with this boy. Myspace DIV Layout Help? Works in Firefox, not in IE!

I've been working on a layout (tweaking it and what-not) and I finished it, and it looked great in firefox, but in I.E. it shows up to the far bottom right and there's this big black space in between the layout and the page. i've hidden everything and i positioned the DIV image at 0 top px and 0 left px, so i have no idea what the problem is.

talking to people in high school

ive been trying to make more friends lately and..i suppose it's working. people are noticing me and i am talking more. however i have one BIG FEAR when it comes to talking 1 v 1...running out of things to say, and it seems to be so much harder to talk to people in high school because one day someone might be receptive, one day they aren't. or you might talk to someone who will turn around and start gossipping about you.
i feel like nobody talks about their interests anymore, it's always "she did this" and "he did that". and if there happens to be a (non-funny) convo about interests that dont involve gossipping (or the presidential elections..lol) the convo usually dies after like a minute or tw...
