I need a non biasis answer. Is pot actually bad for you? I do not smoke, and I do not believe that I will ever. Someone close to me does and seeing that person high botheres me. To hear them talk about, be around it, or etc. bothers me. I think its wrong.. maybe I think its wrong because its against the law buuut I know its legal in other parts of the world.. so they wouldn't make it legal if it harmed you, would they? I just need some good advice on this... Am i overreacting when bothered about pot?

sweat marks on my shirts

ok well i always have these sweat marks on my shirts in my underarm area! n i dont stink but it always happens i use deoderant (dove) but it doesnt help with it..??!!!!! i dont know what to do about it school starts on monday and its imbarrassing to have!! any time i raise my arm you can see it.!!!! how can you get rid of it or does anyone no what i can use?!!!! please help!!!!!

My little brother is 5 feet, 8 inches tall! And he is only 11!!!! Was anbody that tall when they were that age? If you were, how tall are you now? My grandpas are tall though, so dont say hell stop growing, because he is probably going to be tall. Thanks!!

Tampons...

I tried a tampon today but i CAN'T get it to go in...I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I read the directions and checked it out on a web site and was relaxed and stuff but it just didn't work! I tried 2-3 times but still nothing worked! I know they're great and I really want to be able to use them but i don't know! Today was my friend's pool party but i couldn't swim and it sucked and i really need help! Please if anyone could give me advice i REALLY need some! Thanks! :D

13/f. I KNOW I have pinworms i don't think anymore and it hurts so bad, I also think they are going into my vajayjay [im sorry this is gross i know, sorry], and its hurts soo bad that i rather just not sleep at all. I want to tell my mom I have them I just don't know how I know I shouldn't be scared, but please just help me please.

i THINK i started my 1st period, but I'm not sure. Like for about 2 or 3 days i kept finding brown marks on my underwear (and no they werent skid marks) and by the end of the 3rd, beigining of the 4th about it started turnigng a little red, but then it stopped. The weird thing is, the stuff would be on my underwear, but i never actually saw anything like come out if you know what i mean. So, I'm not sure??

ok, i have clear skin. but you know when you have those problem zits that pop up every now and then? what can i use to make them go away..like something that doesnt take forever. i dont want to have to go out and buy something, but is there anything around the house that i could use besides lemon juice and toothpaste? i have clerasil, but it doesnt seem to work. thanks.

I left my tampon in for the night two nights ago. When I woke up in the morning, I remember and took it out and put a new one in. Is there still a chance of TSS? I feel fine now, if that makes any difference.

earlobe

my right ear lobe has always been kind of bad with earrings this past year - real itchy, well i didnt wear earrings so my earlobe could get better and stop itching but the problem was while i left my earrings out my holes started to close. so i put my earrings back in about two-three days ago and the back hole of my earlobe was just about almost closed [the right one] so i had to find where the hole was and then reopen it [sometimes very painful]
now my earlobe is KILLING me, maybe i repierced my ear and thats why - or maybe the infection got worse? my earlobe feels swollen and when i looked at the hole lastnight i saw some crusty feeling things in my ears (yes i took everything i could see out) maybe it was like a scab or so...

yeast infections

hey there... 16/f.
i recently posted a question about a ondition that, i believe, turned out to be a yeast infection.
i bought and used a monistat 3 pack from the pharmacy, and finished up using it tuesday night.
It's now Thursday morning.
My question: how long should i give it to clear up before i buckle down and see a doctor? I'm aware it isn't going to be fixed immediately, but I've already been dealing with this for quite some time and I don't want to wait any longer than I need to if I need to seek more treatment.
Also: if the redness / itching extends up to and around my anus, is that normal? will that also be cleared up with the Monistat?

I think I have strep! I have the medicine and everything. Middle school starts monday, if I have strep will it be gone by then? What if i dont have strep, will it be gone by monday? i hope a doctor answers this Q

Headache

I have the worst headache ever at the front of my head. It's been there for hours, I've taken two motrin and it won't go away. This has happened recurringly over the past week and I can't take it. It feel like it's behind my eyes, between my eyes and at the top of my head. My head just feels so heavy all the time and I can't bare it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of terrible headaches? I don't mind websites as long as they're short and to the point, so now WebMD. Once again, does ANYONE know how to get rid of this headache?

Stress Related Rash

Okay, so as some of you might know, my boyfriend died two weeks ago. A week & a half after his death, I got a rash due to how stressed out I was, and it hasn't gone away since. My mom made me a doctor's appointment, but she didn't feel good today, so I had to miss my appointment.
I've been using Cortizone 10 cream, and it works, but I hate the way it makes me feel all greasy & gross. I'm about to take a really hot bubble bath..Is there anyway I can try & get this rash to go away or at least calm down a bit until my mom can make me a new appointment? I'm really sick of being itchy all the time, and these bumps everywhere are pissing me off. =( If you guys know any home re...

acne, school starting...

My face is beginning to break out and school starts Monday! My mom is getting me a dermatologist appointment but I doubt I can get it until after school starts that week. I really don't want to have acne on the first day at a new school. I just moved here so I don't know anyone and I wan't to have clear skin the first day.
Any tips? Will not wearing makeup for a few days help at all? Oh and my skin is reallllly sensitive if that helps any...

I got my belly button pierced on the 11th and everything is cool its not green or anything and ive been cleaning it all the time with this thing called "Bactine" its a first aid liquid thats kills germs and its like for cuts and stuff so yeah the thing is that its starting to scab around the top but its like dry puss i think its call like a yellow guwwy thing and it doesnt hurt or anything i can sleep on my belly since i gotten it i just wanna know if its ok?

about a week before my period i started not feeling the greatest, i can still live a normal life but i ust dont feel 100%, im also getting a lot of clear vaginal discharge, a lot. is this all like normal? and is this like pms or something different
