TSS I left my tampon in for the night two nights ago. When I woke up in the morning, I remember and took it out and put a new one in. Is there still a chance of TSS? I feel fine now, if that makes any difference.

TSS accures immediately, within an hour. If you had TSS you would be feeling completely horrible in the morning (the person below me has listed the symptoms), not to mention you would be dead by now (unless you went to the hospital). Keeping it short, no, you do not have TSS.
Just be careful not to leave a tampon in for longer than eight hours, but to be on the safe side, I never keep it in longer than five.

Symptoms of TSS include: peeling hands and feet, vomiting, a sore throat, and a fever.
It is REALLY rare, but more common among teenagers, for some reason, so you shouldn't leave a tampon in for over 6 hours (even though the tampon box says up to 8 hours) I reccommend using overnight pads at night, or waking up in the middle of the night to change your tampon. But don't worry about it, one slipup probably won't give you TSS. However, if any of those symptoms show up, see a doctor! TSS, though very rare, can be deadly. ]
