period??

Question Posted Thursday August 23 2007, 11:01 pm

i THINK i started my 1st period, but I'm not sure. Like for about 2 or 3 days i kept finding brown marks on my underwear (and no they werent skid marks) and by the end of the 3rd, beigining of the 4th about it started turnigng a little red, but then it stopped. The weird thing is, the stuff would be on my underwear, but i never actually saw anything like come out if you know what i mean. So, I'm not sure??

Chances are, you're not going to be able to see it when it "comes out," so I'd say it probably was your period. During your first couple periods, it might be brown because (this is gross) the lining that is coming out has been there for a while. And, if you don't notice it and just let it sit in your underwear it can turn brown. Its usually red when it first comes out, though. Its probably your period

Every period is different so you should always be prepare for what may come, the best way to find out what may be exactly what's happening consult the doctor of what's happening,he'll explain why this is happening.Things like this happened to other girls I know but they said they know that nothing is wrong with them it's just their period tends to act differently but just so you stop worrying go to the doctor or you can even ask your mom's experience's dealing with her period, that if something like this ever happened to her.

yeah i'm pretty sure this is your first period. periods normally start out brown and turn red.

and its normal that you only noticed it on your underwear because your period isn't constantly releasing blood.

its probably your period. the brown stuff was most likely blood but you just didnt notice it until it was dried because it was such a small amount. write the date down and check for your period in about a month but if it doesnt come dont worry. the first couple years of your period will be very irregular and different every month.
