so i have nice straight teeth. had braces for three years. i've used crest white strips, target brand whitening trays, use the crest white mouth wash, don't really drink alot of pop if i EVER DO it's like mountain dew but my teeth are just not that white still. i hate spending all this money, for something that i feel is not even working. there is no possible way i have the money to get it profesionally done but i see people who have the whitest teeth ever and i just wonder what they do. if any of you guys found something that works, let me know. anything will help [:

My best friend smokes cigarettes a lot and is trying very hard to quit. She says that the nicotine addiction is so strong that she even begins to shake after a few hours of not having a smoke!
She has tried to cut down on smoking cigarettes ever since her uncle was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors told her uncle that if he hadn't smoked cigarettes then his chances of having lung cancer would have been a lot smaller. My best friend was very scared when she heard this and decided she wants to quit smoking--which is best, we both agree.
Now, before she goes out and spends money on things to help her quit smoking, she needs to know what REALLY works. There are things (from Nicorette and other companies, ...

What is the difference between an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar?

I am getting a guitar soon for my birthday and my parents want me to tell them what kind of guitar I want. It is going to be my first guitar that I will learn to play mainly on my own.
There are SO many different guitar brands like Gibson guitars, Ibanez guitars, Fender guitars, and Peavey guitars.
There are acoustic guitars and electric guitars.
There are even classical guitars, if I recall correctly.
What is the difference between acoustic guitars and electric guitars? Which is best for beginning on? Which is easier to play? Which is cheaper? Do they sound different?
Some advice would really help!

Do you refer friends to Advicenators? How can I?

This is pure curiosity really, but how many Advicenators out there have recommended their friends to come to this website for advice? How did you go about doing that?
I think it would be neat to have my friends on Advicenators too so we could talk about some of the questions we saw and what we think about them. I mean, I don't plan on telling them which questions are mine, but it would be super neat to be sitting at the lunchroom and be able to say, "Yeah, did you see that one Advicenator question about... hahaha!" I am cool with them looking at my advice column so I'd tell them my name, of course, but I would probably keep my questions to myself.

so im getting a new kitten on friday! she is 5 weeks old and is adorable! Problem is...I don't know what to name her! Ive searched cat names on the internet but haven't really liked anything.

Well here's the story. I'm really too young to be even thinking about this stuff I think. My boyfriend is two years older than me. We have had sex once (I don't think he's popped my cherry yet though) and we want to do it again. We would but there is something stopping us. Pregnancy. I can't have a baby! There is no way I could get pills without my parents knowing and there is no way I'm telling them. I need help. We have condoms but I heard they aren't that great. Do they work good or not? -i go to college 20 minutes away, i commute.
-all my friends left me to go to college EXCEPT
one
-i've never had a boyfriend, yet i've been told i'm gorgeous too many times to count
-i'm outgoing when i want to be and overall i'm a nice person
-i have trust issues but i open up to people way too easily
-i miss high school, those were the best times of my life..
