"beauty in the eye of the beholder?"

hey! everyone has always told me that i am "an old-time classic beauty" "the kind every artist in the 1800's wanted to paint, the talk of the town!" and that i don't fit in to this era. i have the darkest hair with ringlets, full red lips, the longest eye lashes, and thick eyebrows. I guess its a compliment but i don't like the way i look. i want to be beautiful NOW and be considered hot NOW. I look at girls like Jessica Simpson and stuff and it makes me feel so bad about myself. how can i raise my self-image, look more modern, stop looking like a "young elizabeth taylor" or "an 1800's beauty?"

i like this kid (we will call him "B") B. My friend says that he likes me too. yet, he says he doesnt (he suposedly doesnt know i like him) like me like that. well moving on, he has no classes with me or teachers but his locker is by mine and we hang out sorda a lot but with some other friends. and i guess in the middle of 5th hour people were calling him gay and he said "i cant be gay because i like Sam (my last name)"..now i heard it within minutes it happened. and he says that he really doesnt..what does that mean!!??

okay i like this guy ..uhh lets just call him D =) soo i used to stare at him a lot not because i liked him (cause at that time i didnt) just because he's hot , loud and you cant miss him. and maby that got him to like me cause then he stared at me a lot and so i also started to like him. so we used to talk and everything but once he got into a deep conversation and i was nervous and i've been a little weird (not really mean i just was like : yes , no , maby) yeah okay and than he told me he loved me and THEN i was mean i was like : whatever

Ok. Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 3 and a half weeks. We really really love each other but I still dont know if he wants to kiss me yet... Well my friend asked him and he said he wants to but I dont know how he would react if I did kiss him... In a situation if hes at my house, when do you think I should kiss him ? Or at the movies or somthing? when would be the right time?

Ok. Last Friday when I was in drama reharsals, this kid Rob who I used to like stated flirting with me.... He even started standing next to me and trying to dance with me....and he kept STARING at me...do u think he likes me? what should I do? I have a boyfriend !!

14/f...i'm so confused and have no idea what to do. i recently found out that my friend likes the guy that i like. but the problem is that she told some of her close friends that she likes this guy and i haven't told anyone. so if i tell people they'll think that i'm copying my friend or they'll be like she liked him first. then i used to think that this guy liked me back but now i think he might like my friend. and if he does like me and ask me out then how would i tell my friend.
oh and this girl isn't really my close friend. we used to be close but now were just friends.

14/f...okay all day saturday my school had this fundraiser and almost my whole entire 8th grade class was there. it was a lot of fun and we were outside all day. i was hanging out with all of my friends and a lot of my guy friends. i thought that i used to know how to tell if a guy likes youm but i'm not sure anymore. ok one of my guy friends was sitting next to me and then purposly dumped water on me twice, so then we chased each other around trying to dump water on the other. then my other guy friend had water ice and i asked for some but then he wouldn't take it back so i said i would dump it on him, but i didn't, and then later he dumped a water bottle all over me. like all day the girls would verse the guys in a game of keep away with ...

My sister is girly. That's why I don't understand how she hooked up with Kel, a rebel goth, in the first place. She dumped him and that's when he & I got together. (I'm punk, you could say.) okay, so i am 15/f and i really want to ask this guy out. he is my age and we are practically best friends, i have put my head on his shoulder and have held hands with him at a ballgame and we talk all the time. i really like him, and i am almost positive he likes me, but i have always initiated things. should i wait for him to ask me out? or should i go ahead and do it? i dont want a relationship where i have to hold his hand through though. If i should ask him out than how, his birthday is on wednesday - should i suggest something for then?

Okay, I'll try to make this short. I've liked this guy for months and one day in math I got a question right and he started going on and on about how smart I was. Then another day in S.S, I graded his test and he didn't study and he got a 92. Then he held out his arms and said give me a hug, so I hugged him. Then in Language, he was talking and looking at me a lot more than usual.

I dont know whats wrong because its been so long and all of a sudden i dont know what to do. Ive been having so much trouble paying attention and he just makes it worse and i cant take it anymore. i dont wanna like him but he makes it so hard not to and everytime i see him it gets worse. We talk about it and stuff but i didnt tell him and i dont know if i should or if that would ruin our friendship.

my ex boyfriend and i just broke up. we had an EXTREMELY strong emotional relatoinship, and were each others best friend. but, he told me he loved me one night, and that freaked me out. i said it back by accident and when i told him i didn't mean it yet, he was devastated. we ended up breaking up b/c i didn't feel like it was fair to him for me not to be able to return his feelings. now we both still have extremely strong feelings for ecah other, and i don't know what to do. is it okay to be in a relationship if someone likes you more than you like them? i know ill fall for him, but it will take me much longer than it did him. help!
