I'm 14 and a chick.
My friends expect me to be some hard core rock metal fan because I have blue hair and combat boots. Truth is, I'm a die hard Simon & Garfunkel fan, lol. I like old people music. Is this normal?
annaxo123 answered Saturday February 26 2011, 10:38 pm: yeah your comletely normal. everybody dresses diferently and the way you dress doesnt have to be based on the style of music your into. dress how you wanna dress and listen to whatever music makes you happy. and tell your friends to shut up and worry about themselves. :) [ annaxo123's advice column | Ask annaxo123 A Question ]
Siren_Cytherea answered Saturday February 26 2011, 5:50 pm: What's wrong with that? I have blond highlights, wear a lot of pink, and I love metal and hard rock.
I also sing opera.
buckit answered Saturday February 26 2011, 5:27 pm: i know how you feel. 18 here, i listen to indie bands and look like i walked out of the 40's. because i am modest in clothing (it's a personal thing, due to some sexual interests of mine) most people seem to think that i'm a mormon.
Teza answered Saturday February 26 2011, 3:55 pm: Your appearance on the outside has nothing to do with the music you like or your interests. It's okay if you're different from your friends. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

Capic answered Saturday February 26 2011, 7:15 am: absolutely! there's nothing abnormal about this you have blue hair cause you like it, you were combat boots cause you enjoy wearing them and listen to old people music cause you love it, you don't need to change anything about yourself just so you can fit into some stereotype.
