ok idk am i weird?
Ever since I was LiL I would masterbate. Im not addicted to it I just do It once in a while but I remember doing it when I was 5!!(of course I didnt know what I was doing at 5 but all I knew was that it felt good and that I was going to do it) I was caught a lot when I was little and I remember one time my mom asked me if it felt good and she was really dissapointed in me. And I hated myself for it because every 5 year old wants their parents to be proud of them. But now I know what I'm doing and I havent been caught in like 5 years(im 14) Is there something wrong with me? Is it not normal to start sooo early?

Children are often curious of their body. There is nothing wrong with exploring your own body. It is kind of strange that at 5 years old you masturbated, but hey, different people start at different times. Its absolutely normal. Don't let anybody make you feel as if you're a freak of some sort. Because you're not. Theres nothing wrong with scrutinizing the female body, especially while you're growing older and experiencing puberty. So as the famous crusaders says "Let's explore!". heh. =)

I work at a preschool/daycare and it is common for little girls to do that. It soothes them and helps them fall asleep. There are actually little girls who start earlier as toddlers. I know it may seem a little different but it is not. I was shocked when i first started working there but now i know its just a normal thing that some little girls do as "a comfort".

I really don't think it is that normal or common that 5-year-olds start masturbating. Doing that brings along alot of unknown feelings when you're so young.

yeah its normal, im thinking that your a girl and girls always mature faster then boys, i must admitt i used to do it at a very early age but its normal, especially since your 14 now youve got stronger hormones, everyone does it, girls and guys, old or young, its a part of growing up

Nope, you are perfectly normal. A lot of kids do start masturbating early. I think the only reason why your mom was disapointed in you is because no 5 year olds are supposed to know what masturbating is and you were your mom's little girl and she wanted what was best for you.
