so ive been going to my current school since 2cd grade!im currently in the ninth grade and its been ok i guess.my school is like really small so i know almost eveybody and my dad has been the principal for the highschool since i was in 3rd grade.next year he wont be principal though.this year alot of new teachers have joined and most of them i hate with a passion!!i only have one teacher that i accully like!!my question is i have no idea if i want to change schools next year!im thinking of goin to this school that is much bigger and is known to have alot of cute boys and alot of things going on!i know a few people that go there and they really like it!the problem is i would be leaving all my really good friends that ive know since 2cd grade behind!!!and i fear that we wont be able to stay connected because my parents have me on a tight leash so i dont hang out with them outside of school alot!!i really want to meet new people but im afraid that what if i do go to that school and for some reason i dont meet anyone!although i am a really good friend maker!!i also hav a bf that i really like that i dont want to leave.although i dont even know if well be dating next year(but i hope we do)!!im just really confused!!if someone could give me some helpfull advice that would be very helpfull!!thanx!!! That's how my parents were ( they just don't understand, do they?), but if you feel like you're ready, then go ahead. It has to be what you want! My parents are really OLD school and didn't get it. So what I did, I met a guy talked on the phone and met the guy with friends. How will they know who's on the phone? I hope you have a cell phone, too! If they do find out your talking to a guy, he's just your friend from school, DUH! Hahaha. Because you are "getting to the point where guys become friend with girls..." hahahha. I know I'm encouraging you to lie, but sometimes parents just don't understand when you're ready! But in a few years you'll realize that "omg I was so young... there was no point in having a guy..." buuut... you only live once! Make sure you be safe and always keep your dignity and follow your gut. Don't be like every other girl, be different so guys will find you irresistable!

My specialty! The mall! Hahaha! Ok well first, put on a REALLY cute outfit! When you step in the mall be as confident as possible. If you're with a group of friends, remember guys are intimidated with more girls. If you're with one or two, they'll approach you easier. Sometimes, my friends and I will "rest" on the bench in the middle of the mall and make eye contact! And sometimes you might "forget" something in a store and have to go alone to get it. (Obviously, when you are alone they approach you more!)
I personally NEVER approach guys, but rarely... you just have to talk to them like they're ugly! Hahaha! I wouldn't do it, because I'm a NERD when I do. But if you can, do that. Don't tell your friends to go up for you, because then you could POSSIBLY look like a wimp, or they go over and see what you look like which is REALLY AWCKWARD (sp.?)!!

Okay one night I was hanging with my best friends
Val and Kristen, We were making fun of the boys that we've dated and you know having fun and yeahh drinking a little..:) Then Rae came over and started hanging and was like omgosh you guys dont know do you! And then told us about Eric&Alisha... two people that have been going out sence the beginging of the 7th grade and now there going into ninth. So that's a longg while. They broke up because Eric was being mean to Gene little brother.. dumb I know and how heart-broken Eric is.. And ive liked him for soo long I wanted to call him. Rachel gave me the number and when he finally picked up the phone he was like if I needed your pitty I would ask for and how if he wanted me to have his number he would've given it too me. Which I can understand i have random people calling me all the time. So I just basicly hung up on him.. and we've been friends for a long time and i knew that the only reason he said that was becuase his mother has a porblem with my WHOLE family (longg story) and thats why he never gave me his number. So all that happened like 5 maybe 6 days ago, and yesturday his mom called me crying saying that she needs me help to get him up and outa bed cuz he only gets out've his room for food and bathroom so because I love him I went over and his mom was cool with me, I talked to Eric like a normal person saying he can't be sorry for himself because he deserves SO much better,, and he got all upset saying no ones gunna like him the same and I said that I love him and he was like but thats you. your Katie... and I got so pissed because he said more i dont think I can say on this website and i was like you know what here take it. And i gave him the little peice of paper rae gave me with him number on it and i said I hope I forget your number and make sure to forget mine, you just lost someone that thought the World of you and when you relise you made a mistake, its too late. And ofcoarse through all of that I was crying and right now im over Kristens and he's ben calling my cell, so I shut it off and I dont know how he got Kristens home number and cell but he wont stop calling her either.

Ok I'm African American too! You can get twisties in your hair, if u want more length: get a weave! You don't have to get the very expensive ones! Go to a hair store and buy the hair. You can get it sewn in or glued. Also, if u go to an African American salon there are many books with pictures. You can also go to your local grocery store where there are hair magazines! GOOD LUCk! *Don't do anything too harsh like dying it because our hair is the most sensitive!

So tomorrow is the last time I'll see this guy I like cause its summer vacation right, and we just go in for a quick second.
I've been crushing on this guy for a long time now but we've never really had a long conversation or talked to eachother, outside from the classroom work I guess. so there's this girl and she is absolutely perfect for me, nobody could even understand how great she is. she's a year younger than me, her parents are divorced llike mine, she's small, she has dyed black hair (always with colors like blue or red), she loves going to rock shows, her favorite bands are metallica, pantera, and tool, she always wears black, nobody can even understand how perfect she is for me. so here's the story: we started talking online about halfway through the school on aim(she started the conversations sometimes and i started the conversations sometimes).we had really good long talks about life in general about 3 times a week. one time she invited me to go to a fair with her and some of her friends but i had to be somewhere. we kept talking online and started finding each other in school and talking face to face. i burned her my nirvana cds and i gave her a ride home once after school when she had to stay after. she visited me at work once(arbys) and we talked. one time after a good chat online i asked if she wanted to just hang at the mall and she said "definately" and was enthusiastic about it. so i looked her number up in the phonebook and gave her a call and asked her if she wanted to hang out on that day and she was like "no i cant hang out today" but she was real brief and didn't go into any detail, it was like she didn't want me to talk to her at all(and btw she cant go online anymore because her mom grounded her for something, this happened before the phone call) so we didnt talk at all after the call. so yesterday she came into arbys and i ignored her and gave her her food and hid off in the back til she left because i dont know if she wants me to leave her alone or not. i'm really regreting it now and i dont know what to do. i know i will see her again before summer's end because she told me she's going to the same concert i'm going to. i really need some advice badly. i really like this girl alot. i have fantasies of me and her laying on top of my car listening to the deftones holding hands and just looking up into the sky. any advice would be appreciated greatly.

theres only so much i can do. next year my dream is to play soccer for my middle school team.. im in 8th grade, and i didnt make the team while i was in 7th. i've only played 3 seasons of rec soccer and then i couldnt really run that fast.. i mean i can run fast in games, because im determined to kick the other players asses, but when we just have to run freely i dont really have motivation, and get tired easily. so i bombed that and didnt even make the B team. im wondering what to do.. cross country, and get better at running, or go for my soccer dreams again? or i was wondering if they'd let me join cross country (you dont need to try out fot it) if i dont make it into soccer.. though i'd miss the first practice for cross country which is the same day as soccer tryouts. ugh, i really wanna play a sport. and in winter i've been playing basketball for many years in recreation, but i dont think im that good enough for the school team. well i didnt try out last year cause i was in a diff club, but i dunno about that, since im also doing club volleyball (theres no school team) in the winter. along with that, i wanna do dance during the year and i cant do too much stuff in the fall, like if i dont make my school soccer team i can join club soccer for the first time, well if i make it hopefully, and i cant do cross country, dance, soccer, while maintaining good grades. ugh but i really wanna do it all. it sucks that i like so many sports but i have to give some up cause im either not good (im only really good at vball but the school team is in high school) or i dont have enough time or money for. what do you think i choose? im so confused and i have to hand my permission slip for school soccer or cross country in like 10 days. :( (link)

I know exactly how you feel. When I was your age I did karate, soccer, ballet, and hip hop at once! I think you should try soccer and talk to the cross counrty coach and tell him your plan. That you want to improve your running. I hate running in soccer practice too bcuz there's nothing to ,otivate you! Do wat I did... in the tryouts show off! Pretend ur at a game especially in the scrimmage! I sucked at the drills, but during the scrimmage I was the stuff! And yes I made the team! [Nobody cares if you're good at practice, only the games!] Its hard with school work, but you have to narrow it down to wat you're good at. [And make time to do a lot of work at school/during class/lunch] Find wat you're good at and keep doing it so you can improve!
