i have african american type hair kuz well im african american. i cnat do much with my hair kuz its short like downto my shoulders BARELY! what type of hair styles should i use instead of just a ponytail and down??

Flexi rods, small curls (full, half twist, half cornrow).
Personally, I don't wear hair weaves except for when I get braids on occasion but if you do choose to wear one then get the "quick weave" because I heard it can make your hair grow.

Ok I'm African American too! You can get twisties in your hair, if u want more length: get a weave! You don't have to get the very expensive ones! Go to a hair store and buy the hair. You can get it sewn in or glued. Also, if u go to an African American salon there are many books with pictures. You can also go to your local grocery store where there are hair magazines! GOOD LUCk! *Don't do anything too harsh like dying it because our hair is the most sensitive!

you could like cornrow it or put it in braids
you could also try straightening it
or maybe dying it a different color or putting in some highlights!
