Hey, I'm Brianna. I'm 18 years old. I like giving advice. I won't give you any of that petty advice like "look at the bright side." I mean really, that's wack. I hate when people tell me that. I'm here to try and help you with any of your problems. I'll give you honest advice that hopefully will get you on the path that leads to the right decision. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. my hair gets greasy quickly when I straighten my hair.
(Ex: straighten hair at 8pm, go to sleep, wake up at 6am, it's alright, but by 2pm it's greasy and messy)
I want to be able to use a straightener that doesnt make my hair as greasy or curl as easily. My hair is naturally wavy.

I have that straightener. I use it basically everyday. I like it. It does the job and it doesn't make my hair greasy. :) In my opinion, it is worth 5 stars! :)

I'm pretty sure you can watch the seasons on this website: http://one-tree-hill.download-tvshows.com/ and I'm pretty sure they are free. I was looking around on the site and I didn't see anything about paying for it. Just double check to make sure!
The seventh season of One Tree Hill is scheduled to premier on September 14, 2009. (Which I am so excited for! I LOVE One Tree Hill!)

ok, i/m turning 14 in like a few weeks.. and my mom wont let me go out w/ this guy i like alot... i liked him 4 like 4 months n now he stared to like ask me to go to the mall n stuff.... n then when i asked my mom she said yes.. and then me and my best friend n i got in a fight... n when me n my bff went to the mall w. a bunch of pple.. shes like.. u'r gunna get raped.. n i didnt get touched!!(only followed) but then shes like.. i would rather you and anthony go together.. i trust her more then maddy (my best friend) soo yesterday he asked me to go bowling w/ him.. n i asked today.. n shes like.."sure you can, but i need to talk to his dad so i know that he's going too..." First of all, your mom is right. She does need to talk to his dad. Why? Because you are only 13, going on 14. There is nothing wrong with your mom wanting to talk to your friends dad to see what is going on. They need to discuss who is picking up, who is dropping off, what time, etc. I'm not sure where the embarassment is, because she is only concerned about your safety. I'm sure that your friends dad wants to talk to your mom about what is going on as well. There isn't really anything you can do considering you are a minor and she isn't doing anything wrong. You should be happy that she is letting you go.

I have medium length lightly layered dark blond hair. It is frizzy and wavy, not like a pretty curly hair but just frizzy waves here and there that kind of resembles clown hair!
I have a CHI straightener, which is supposed to be a really good brand, and the other normal stuff, hair dryer, brush.
How can I get my hair to look sleek, non frizzy and straight? Sort of like tyra banks, or miranda cosgrove.

It works wonders. I'm always very, very happy with the results. You can probably get it at your hair salon. Thats where I get mine. If I remember correctly, it's not that expensive. Maybe 15$? But thats at my hair salon. It may be different at yours. That may seem like a lot but you use a small amount and it will last you months. :D

Alright, so does anyone know a good makeup foundation that does not make your face look shiny?
Every time I put on foundation, it's fine till four hours later when it starts making my face look oily and shiny. It's really annoying. My face is normal when it comes to how oily it can be. But when I don't wear makeup it's not nearly as bad as when I do. I would like one that you can find at your local CVS, Walgreens& preferably one that doesn't make breakouts happen.

I use Cover Girl Advanced Radiance. I really like it and have been using it for the past 2 years now. I'm positive you can buy it at any drugstore and if all else fails wal-mart for sure has it.

It doesn't make my face look shiny and I never got any break outs while using this foundation. It's not that bad of a price either. It's about 8-9$, that may seem like a lot but a little goes a long way. Hope it works for you as well!

hi, and i hope you can help.
at my new school some people seem to look at me differently and critisize me because i dont copy them. when i go to school i dont like to be the same as everyone else. im into strange topics because i find them really interesting like the supernatural and paranormal stuff. my fashion is outrageous as i luv wearing nig big bows and sometimes ribbons, and never wear matching earings. it never looks trampy because i make it work and it suits me but some people who seem to think theyre better than me because they have fake nails, and dyed hair, make fun of me and are always asking stuff like "why you wearing those gloves" "why dont you straighten your hair". i make out that i dont care what anyone thinks of me, but inside it hurts to think that they hate me. should i carry on doing my wn thing and try to ignore or should i copy everyone and be considered "normal"?
Carry on doing your own thing. Don't be like anyone else. I wouldn't worry about why they are always asking you why you are wearing what you are wearing. Chances are, they are just jealous that they can't pull off wearing what you wear.
Your fashion seems very unique and original and I wouldn't change that. Be unique, be creative, be you. Be a leader, not a follower.
I love people that are original and don't copy what others are wearing/doing. It shows that they stand up for what they believe in. You believe in outrageous fashion, and you should stay that way. Don't change for anyone.
What is "normal" anyway? I think that normal is whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Whatever makes you feel like you, and makes you happy. If your fashion is comfortable, makes you feel like you, and makes you happy, then do your own thing.

what's a really good tanning lotion that'll get me dark fast? i want to hear about ones you've PERSONALLY tried and were satisfied with.
i've heard Black by Designer Skin is good, has anyone tried this and would recommend it?
i'm not too concerned with the price because i'll be buying from ebay, so anything you got will be good.
i DONT want any of the tingle/sizzle lotions though and none that smell like hemp.
I personally really like using
*- Banana Boat- Dark Tanning Oil
and
*- Ocean Potion Xtreme Tanning Xtreme Intensifier with instant bronzer.
They both work very well. At least for me and I'm usually very satisfied with the results.

ive been looking to buy a new straightenter, i have wavy/curly hair that has extreme volume and frizz. my hair straightener works fine but is starts to lose its hold towards the end of the day. i was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind to buy that will give me straight, smooth shiny hair that will last all day.
Chi hair straighteners work really well. They can be a bit pricy though.

I use tampons, they are the most comfortable. But whatever works the best for you.

Okay so on Xanga, I somehow got a stupid theme. Now, when I want to click "edit look and feel" on the left on my home page, it says "edit themes" I know I can just go to the link but how can I make it go back to "edit look and feel" ?

When you sign on there should be a link that says "back to the old xanga page" it showed up on mine and thats how I got back to the old xanga page and it will have the 'edit look and feel' section. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure how else to help you. It worked out for me.
I've got this guy I know at work and he seems really depressed at the moment and I'm scared that he'll hurt himself. I want to help but I don't know what to do. I'm 16f he's about 18/19
You should talk to him, ask him how he is. Just strike up a converstaion first and see if you get anything out of it. If you continue noticing that he seems depressed, ask if something is bothering him and see if he wants to talk about anything. He might not be depressed and just something is bothering him. If you know any of his friends, tell them you think something is bothering him or if you know is parents/family let them know you think something is bothering him. There really isn't much else you can do since you don't know if he is depressed or not. 18/19 years old is a stressful age so he may just be stressed out about college.

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for awhile and have not had any kind of sex. I am now getting more and more comfortable every time I hangout with him. We have been talking about having oral sex for awhile but im just soo nervous. How do I get passed my nerves? I need help! I have only done this once and I was drunk. He has had alot of experience and I havent had any. Maybe thats why im scared. I dont know I just need some serious help!
If you are not ready to have oral sex, then you are not ready. Or if you feel as if you are not ready then you are not ready. If you are scared/nervous, that is understandable but then you shouldn't do it. Your boyfriend should understand. If he doesn't understand, then that's something to think about. You only did it once and you were drunk, I'm guessing that if you weren't drunk you wouldn't of done it because you weren't ready or scared.
Like you say in your topic, you are scared to have oral sex with your boyfriend. If you are scared then don't do it. You might end up regretting it later. I would advise you not to have oral sex with your boyfriend since you are scared. Your boyfriend should respect your feelings and your answer.

There's this guy named Airronn. I've known him for 3 yrs and we dated a couple times, but i broke up with him because he was cheating. The last time I broke up with him I told him it was his last chance with me and he'll never get another one. Now he's calling me all the time and begging to get back with me and wants to know who called me and told me he was cheating and i dont know what to do anymore. I still love him, but I really dont want to get hurt again =( HELP ME!!!
To me the answer is obvious. You guys dated and you broke up with him because he cheated on you. You told him that it was his last chance and that he'll never get another one. You need to stick by that. You don't want to get hurt again, so don't date him again. Chances are he will do something again that will hurt you. Do you really want to go through all the pain again? You need to stick with the decision that you told him. Yes, you may still love him but do you love him enough to get hurt by him again? I know this is a cliche saying but, there are plenty more fish in the sea. Don't stick with the guy who cheats on you and hurts you. He may only be calling you and begging you to get back with him, to see if you are going to stick with what you said or because guys always want what they can't have.
