Hi there,
That question in your inbox suggesting a question was directed to you, was is in no way related to you. The person it was related to came back to the site after some time and accidentally hit the "Can't Answer This? Forward it to other users who can help" link without realizing what they were doing. I am sorry for the bother.

Ah I see now. Not a problem.
|
You answered my question about making a job change recently. After initially accepting the offer, I recanted and turned it down. Later that day the HR Manager left me a voicemail stating management really liked me and wanted to sweeten the offer. I called this morning. Instead of making an offer, she asked me what it would take to get me to come. I gave her a number that was 6% more than what Iwas offered, but still well within the stated salary range. She later sent an email saying she gave the proposal to management and that they were going to pursue other candidates. They didn't even make a counter offer, and said they really didn't think I wanted the job. I thought it was bizarre. (link)
|
That is a bit bizarre. I would have thought they'd at least counter-offer. I'm sorry they started to look at other candidates instead. Perhaps if you're still interested, you could email them back with a slightly lower offer? Otherwise, I wish you luck finding another job.
Sincerely,
Panda

I am so confused. I dont know what to do anymore. I am depressed all the time. To the point where all I want to do is cry and at times it takes all I have not to. I feel so alone. I have been married for 8 years but we never talk and lately he and I have been sleeping in separate rooms. We dont even argue we just dont talk. I know I am not happy anymore and I havent been for a long time. But we have children together and this is the only serious relationship I have ever had. To top it all he is controlling so I have never had a job and I dont know if I can support myself or my kids without him. I dont want to be miserable forever but I am terrified of life without him. I dont know how to survive without him. And I have absolutly no friends not a single one because my high school friends and I have drifted apart and I am not allowed out to have any. And I have no family I grew up in foster homes. So without him I am completely alone. I have no one to turn to. No one to stay with til I get on my feet. Am I being selfish by wanting a life of my own. What do I do? Where do I go from here? (link)
|
I'm sorry for the delay. It sounds like he's slowly alienated you from everyone you used to know, and I'm sorry for that. Unfortunately, a lot of controlling men do exactly that, so they can get away with treating women however they want.
It's not selfish of you to want to get a life of your own. You, nor anyone else, were not meant to simply be someone's trophy or their free housekeeping service. You are meant to be free and have a life of your own.
I would recommend applying to some entry-level jobs so you can get some experience. This will also help you make friends. Then, once you've saved up enough money, I would take any necessary legal steps towards splitting up. Talk to people about what you're doing though, so that if at any point he tries to stop you, you'll have help.
I'm really sorry you've gone through this, and I hope things work out well for you. Other than what I've just told you, the best advice would come from professionals, such as lawyers or police.
I hope everything works out well for you.

My brother gave me his old hp touchpad which has android on it.The camera doesn't work and i want to download ubuntu. Can you please tell me step by step how to install it? (link)
|
Though I have extensive experience with electronics, I have only changed base operating systems on a phone/tablet once, and it wasn't to Ubuntu.
However, I did a quick search and found a step-by-step guide to do exactly what you're hoping to. If you need any assistance or don't know what they mean, they've provided plenty of links to pages with more detail on each step.
Here it is: http://liliputing.com/2011/08/how-to-install-ubuntu-linux-on-an-hp-touchpad.html
I hope this helps.

this is odd but i need someone who knows a little something about when it comes to hiring plumbers.
I rent a two bed, two bath place and we continually have plumbing issues. we have the standard low flush/low consumption toilets which clog ALL THE TIME, even to the point to where even a standard plunger cannot unclog it. Well ive had a leaking tub faucet for the past month and called my management company to fix the leaking THAT, but also asked to have the plumber check out one of my toilets as well (just a quick look to make sure theres nothing legitimately wrong with that toilet ) my question is, it is normal or fair for the property management to charge ME for the plumber to come out to fix the faucet?
last time i called to have management send a plumber to unclog my toilet, (cause my son flushed the toilet paper spinner down it) i got charge 400 bucks! just for that! and he did the same thing i just asked this guy to do. i soooo dont wanna get charged 400 bucks because i also asked him to check out my toilet while he was here fixing the leaky faucet. = / i cant afford that.
can they do that?? i know that theres certain things that THEY have to cover, but idk if they can try to pin the toilet thing on me, there was nothing wrong with the toilet, he said he would let them know that. The toilet just has a small throat and clogs easier then the better toilets. (link)
|
Plumbers - much like auto shops - I would assume charge for any parts necessary plus their time. Cheaper plumbing is usually around $20/hr, plus any parts they used. If they didn\'t charge for both, they\'d go out of business.
So yes, depending on how long it takes to fix the faucet and check the toilet, and how much the parts cost, it would be possible to spend $400. It\'s unfortunate, but it\'s the only way they can make a living off of it.

Is it possible to get a rental car with 100$ in NYC? (link)
|
Enterprise Rent-A-Car can rent you an economy class car(like the Chevy Spark) for a little less than $70 a day. These vehicles are very good on gas, and typically very safe despite their size.
Also, when I\'ve been to NYC, I find it\'s both easier and safer to just take the subway to the nearest block and walk where you need to go. It\'s a much faster way through the city, and eliminates the possibility of getting into a car accident. Traffic there can be a bit dangerous.
Good luck, and have fun!

So I have a tendency for being paranoid i'm prego after sex.
I slept with a guy last week Sunday and again on this past Friday... He used a condom. I saw his cum chillin in the condom when he pulled out. I'm not on Birth Control. My periods are not usually regular....
Just a day after having sex the first time, I felt so nauseous on a bus. However, I do get motion sickness. Today, about a week after I had sex with him the first time, I feel so bloated. And I have random cramps.
Last night I think I was spotting barely - i wiped and it was just a little light brown. That's it!
Any thoughts on if I could be preggo? Or am I being SO paranoid!?
Again, I saw his cum IN the condom, never out of it. but still???!?? idk! HELP. and when should I take a pregnancy test??!!? (link)
|
Pregnancy symptoms almost never start that early. Even if you\'re spotting just a little, you most likely are on your period. The chances of you being pregnant are about 0.01%. To put that into perspective, that\'s 1% of 1%.
So I would say relax, and if you don\'t get your period by the time 3-4 weeks have passed, buy a pregnancy test. A reliable brand can cost about $10 for a two pack(just had to buy a pack last week). Even then, if it reads positive, have your doctor test you. Their tests are MUCH more accurate.
Anyway, take it easy! You\'re probably not pregnant. Just keep an eye out for signs.
Good luck!

Well ive been with this guy for almost 2 years. We broke up about twice so far. The first time i managed to get him back and he told me that he missed me and realized he still loved me. But it was also partly because i gave into him and gave him bj the two times we saw each other while broken up. But its cause i asked him straightforwardly the thirdtime when we were about to do it again. But the three months togwther then was mostly us doing sexual stuff like up to third base and thats it. But we didnt have much time to just bond and talk. Were also a bit long distance seeing eachother only once in a week or two. But this time he broke up with me again giving me a bunch of excuses. His friends even told him that we wouldnt work out which i think possibly influenced his decision. But his friends dont even know me because my parents are strict so i mever got to meet his friends. But well a month of no contact with him then the second the month ended i started talking to him and asking to see each other for closure. But once i saw him it wasnt closure but me asking to get backand being desperate. Then he blew up on me saying we should just let it go now hefore it gets even harder to let go later on and that hes trying to move on. Then i stomped out yelling i just dont get this. Then he texted me a day after explaining that he feels like hes in the relationship for sex. And then from tere we judt argued back and forth because i got hope from that. And on saturday i lashe out on him ecause he asked this girl to prom when he knew i still liked him and i wanted to go to prom with him since junior year. And then he lashed back put on me. And then we argued intensely until thursday. Because on thursday he told me the modt hurtful things like im annoying him that he cribges when e sees my texts and that everything was in the past its over and that he takes back all the hope an consideration he gave me a few days ago when he really thought of possibly geting back together. And that im lucky he hasnt blocked me yet. Well to be honest i feel so hurt but i still want a try but im scared to hear hurtful things. But i want him to be with me again. Idk if i should move on talk to him or what i should even do!!! I honestly want some possible way to slowly get his love for me back again. (link)
|
I\'m sorry for the delay. I\'ve been sick the past few days, and needed rest before I could give you any helpful advice.
Now, I know this is difficult for you. Breakups are never easy, especially when you care as much as you do about them. But I\'m sorry to say that he doesn\'t seem to show any interest in getting back together.
You said that he told you he cringes when he sees you. I don\'t think that\'s because he hates you or you disgust him; I think he said that because either it\'s emotionally painful to see you or it\'s easier to tell you that than the truth.
It seems to me like he feels like he was using you for sex, and feels bad about it. Unfortunately, he doesn\'t seem to be interested in a serious relationship with you, and he doesn\'t want to just use you for sex because he respects you.
I think it would be a better use of energy to focus on trying to move on without him. You can be a strong, independent person. Someone somewhere would love to be with you, so give your time and energy to those who deserve it.
I genuinely hope you start to feel better about this and move on without him.
Best of luck,

I've been with my fiancé for 6 years. We are both 23 years old. It has been the most stable 6 years and the reason why is because he struggles with addiction. When he relapses on drugs, he often pushes me away and I tell myself I deserve better and leave for a while. I never really get over him though and when he comes back with some sober time, it's hard to not slowly get back into a relationship. I know this is a bad thing. And this past time it took me months to get back into it.
He'd been sober for over a year this past time and was really moving forward. We never fought and we were both on paths in our lives that lead to good careers. But then something happened (trying to not be super specific) and things didn't work out exactly as they should have. I do feel for him because I know things get rough. Now the difference is if this had happened to me, I would have sulked for a bit and then gotten back on my feet and tried again. I've tried so hard to be there for him emotionally and building him back up so that he can go onto a slightly different thing. Well he got distant and then last night told me that he had indeed relapsed the previous week. And he had kept his distance because he was ashamed to tell me.
I told him I was really hurt by it and wished he could talk to me about things when he was upset. I know now that he's been clean and this could have been a small hiccup. But it also could not be and he could use for his life! I really really love this guy and know that he truly loves me. It makes it harder because it's not that he doesn't care and is laughing about it or something. He just truly has poor coping skills and an addiction. He's already been to rehab and I believe that the thing that will help him most is getting back onto a path. I noticed that when he feels like a loser is when he does the drugs.
He really is such a great guy inside and out. And I'd love to be there for him but it's hard for me to separate not getting hurt and being supportive. I can be really sensitive. If possible i would like to stay with him. Does anyone else have a similar situation or any advice that will help build him up so he doesn't feel the need to have substances make him feel better? Thank you guys for reading this! I just feel so lonely and anxious not talking to him :( (link)
|
I know a surprising number of people who have been through this. In fact, my best friend - whom I consider a brother - struggles on-and-off with a cocaine addiction.
Rehab is very helpful, but it doesn\'t always do the job by itself. Usually the best option is to complete rehab, and have therapy or counseling lined up for when the rehabilitation is finished. Having a professional to talk to, who won\'t judge him and won\'t be biased in any way, can really help an addict.
My friend tried quitting all the drugs he had been doing by himself, and it didn\'t even remotely start to work. But then he started therapy, and he\'s been off everything(other than medical marijuana) for almost a year. He now had a job and is moving into an apartment soon.
So try talking to him about therapy. Tell him it\'s nothing to be embarrassed about, and that sometimes we all need someone to talk to. It helps so much - it really does. Tell him you care about him, and you just want what\'s best for him because you care that he gets better.
I genuinely hope you take this advice and that he benefits from therapy. Addiction and depression are hard things to deal with, and no one can truly do it alone.
Best of luck,

I want to sell my samsung galaxy S3 nothing is wrong with it the only reason I am selling it is because at&t is buying iut altell anf everyone who has a samsung galaxy s3 is suppose to get a replacement Samsung galaxy S4 because At&t d osnt make Samsung s1 2 and 3 they only make 4s the thing is I dont know how much to sell it for because mine was free with a contract plan what do you all thimo woulf be a good price? It is in excellent condition nothing is wrong with it and it has a case also. (link)
|
Well, after doing a little research, I\'ve found that used Galaxy S3s can go for anywhere between $25 and $200. Honestly, I highly doubt anyone would pay over $100 for a used phone when it\'s not much more than that for a brand new one.
I\'m no professional marketing agent, and I\'ve never owned a business, but I have quite a bit of personal experience selling things. I\'d say if it\'s in good condition(no scratches on the screen, no cracks, works well, etc.) then a good starting point would be around $75. You may need to end up lowering it gradually($5-$10 at a time) until you find a price someone is willing to pay.
All that being said, because it is an older model you may end up having to sell for $20-$30, but I think you could easily get $50. And you always want to start a little higher than you actually plan on getting for it, because people will try to talk your price down.
Bartering is tricky, but if recommend starting on Craigslist advertising it for \"$75 OBO\"($75 or best offer).
Good luck selling your phone!

my heart has been doing weird stuff so i was looking what can be wrong with the heart and it said "coronary artery disease" but i don't know what that means. can some one please explain so a 16 year old can understand? (link)
|
Coronary artery disease is when the blood vessels that bring blood back into the heart(arteries) get a build-up of stuff(cholesterol and plaque) on the inside, so it becomes difficult to pump the blood through.
However, I would not use WebMD or any similar service to try to diagnose yourself. Only medical professionals can do that, and they need to do that in person. I would recommend calling your doctor and setting up an appointment to get things checked out.
I hope you\'re fine and everything goes well!

I have paid a sponsorer to sponsor me 14000$ but no w he doesnt pick the call nor call us.Every penny we gave him was hard earned money this man have cheated us what shall we do with this person if I am from NSW.
I dont have his address just bank details and phone numbers. (link)
|
Don't wait, go to the police and tell them about the fraud. They'll ask you for whatever information you can give, so give them the bank details and phone numbers. They can track people through those, and figure out what's going on.
This person has stolen a LOT of money from you, and that is a serious crime. So please, do not wait. Talk to the police before the person has time to disappear.
Good luck,

So my boyfriend & I recently discovered we both had chlyamdia. I got it cured. But my boyfriend on the other hand, hasn't yet. He went but they sent him somewhere else, anyways we were messing around we been using condoms since we found out but I was messing around & I was teasing him & didn't think anything of it but I just licked the top of his dick (the head) & just remembered you can get chlymadia through oral. I didn't think about it, but it was literally just a lick. Not a suck or anything. One lick! Lol he didn't cum or anything. Is there a chance I have a chlymadia? Please answer asap! (link)
|
Yes, there is a chance that you have it, but the chance is slim. Even though he didn't orgasm, there is a very good chance there was at least a small amount of pre-ejaculate fluid, which can transmit STDs. I would recommend going the the doctor in a few weeks to get tested, because it doesn't show up immediately.
Also, for future reference, if you want to have oral sex, several brands sell flavored condoms. A reliable brand is ONE.
I hope this helps.

I have been on/off with my current boyfriend for about a year and i always told him i have feelings for him, even when i had a boyfriend at the time, i just wanted him. By the end of that year we got together and he disappeared for a week or so, no calls no texts and picks up after many calls very coldly.
I started seeing someone else and then he started apologizing to me, I said OK but i was never ok, because I have trust and intimacy issues and then i told him im seeing someone else, but he said i had to choose, n i chose him. I met the other guy and we had a stupid quicky, never happened again, i tried to actually be with the other guy but i loved number one too much and i really fell for him.
all this was at the first month and a half of our relationship, and 4months in i told him something and it took us to me telling him about the whole thing.
I am trying now after 4months since i have done my cheating (which i would like to say a stupid mistake) to gain his trust and help him overcome this.
But ii want to know, from all of you, when you have serious and major trust issues, due to a history of abuse for more than 15yrs, does that really make you a cheater, like what i did.
All i was trying to do was to be fair to myself and assertive, as men always get a piece of me for nothing, and i was trying to just protect myself and be safe, i did wrong.
(link)
|
First, I'd like to apologize for the delay. I've been very busy at work the past few days due to a change in management, and I haven't had a chance to check my e-mail.
I think it's kind of interesting that you asked me this question, actually. I have some personal experience. My current girlfriend of almost 4 years was abused physically throughout her childhood by her father, and has cheated on me three times.
However, we worked through it, and it hasn't happened in a long time. It actually had more to do with the fact that she's bisexual, and had never done anything with a female. Being abused did make it hard for her to trust people, and there are still some times where she doesn't trust me completely because of it. But the abuse didn't make her a cheater.
Her trust issues actually made it harder for her to feel comfortable enough to have contact with anyone.
You are not a bad person, and you are not a cheater. You made a mistake. But you don't have to make that mistake again. The choice is yours, and you have every ability to make it through this and have a wonderful relationship.
I know this because after almost 4 years with my girlfriend - despite her slipping up a few times - these have been some of the best years of my life and I couldn't love her more.
I hope this helped you, and made you feel a little better. Everyone deserves happiness in life.

Because of that bleeding my wife is not allowing me to fuck her she is scared will she become pregnent what can I do she is telling she can only pregnent after her studies (link)
|
Well, if the bleeding you're talking about is her period, it is very unlikely that she would get pregnant. A woman's period is when the egg is expelled from the body, making the egg infertile. This means there should be several days before she ovulates - or releases a fertile egg into the Fallopian tube. The time between the start of a period and the next ovulation is longer than sperm can survive in the vagina, so she would not get pregnant.
However, if the bleeding is not her period, and is breakthrough bleeding, it is still quite possible for her to get pregnant.
A woman is actually less likely to get pregnant if she has sex at the start of her period than any other time. But, if she doesn't want to risk getting pregnant, the best option is always to use protection. Condoms are highly effective, and pretty affordable. After all, what's $10 on a box of condoms compared to the cost of having and raising a child?
So, talk to her about whether or not it's her period, and if she's still uncomfortable, use condoms. Or just use them in the first place. I know I do! :p
Just don't try to push her into anything she doesn't want. That's wrong.
Good luck

what maim 69 position (link)
|
What exactly are you asking here? "what maim 69 position" isn't exactly a sentence.
If you are asking what the position is, it's basically any position where two people are performing oral sex on each other simultaneously.
If that wasn't what you were asking, please clarify, and I'll try to adjust my answer accordingly.

How do you compare a bunch of cars at once to see which is the best deal on a car loan? (link)
|
Well, you want to look at a few different things. How many miles can it drive on a gallon of gas? What is it's safety rating? How reliable is it(read some customer reviews for this one)? How much does it cost?
From there you could put all the cars you're looking at into a table, with all of the above stats for each car in their own rows/columns. At that point, it becomes a lot easier to see which ones are better for you because you have a visual reference.
I don't know of any "calculators" out there that do this for you, but you could try KBB.com or run a quick google search for it.

I know there are different voice recognition programs out there but do any of them actually work, and by that I mean work well enough to use for reports for school or work? Does anyone have any experience with different ones that you could tell me about and perhaps point me in the right direction?
I guess I am afraid to waste money on software if it is just going to site on my shelf, but if it works it would save me a lot of pain since I have carpal tunnel already!
Thank you! (link)
|
I have personally used a few different VR programs, and the one that stands out to me as truly exceptional is Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium. It is customizable based on age, region, and gender, and over time calibrates itself to your speech patterns.
It is quite expensive, but completely worth it if you're going to use it regularly. The only warning I would give anyone is you absolutely do not want to use your computer's built-in microphone. They have terrible quality. To make the most of any voice recognition software, you really need a nice headset, which can cost $40 to well over $200.

When me and my girlfriend met we were both very slim and fit. We watched what we ate and were always at the gym. We also used to make fun of the fat people in our group of friends.
We have been living together for years now (since graduation) and the scale has risen and so have our thighs. I have got a big potbelly now, and her buttocks have gotten huge. I guess it's just overindulgence in the sweets (cakes and pies on dates, donuts with our feet up watching TV).
Bottom line, though, our friends from college (we all graduated 2 years ago and have been quite busy) invited us to wing night to reunite again (and it does sound fun). But, the last time they saw us we were wearing tight jeans, nice shoes on me, heels on her. Now, I wear sweatpants with socks and sandles, and my girlfriend wears stretch pants with slippers.
On top of that, they have all been dieting and spending time in the gym, so they all lost the weight.
So my question is: should we go to wing night, a night that involves eating messy food with your hands, when we both got fat? (even worse, we used to be the skinny couple that made fun of the fatties in the group), now I can barely button my pants, she complains that she can't see her slippers when she looks down, and we both are out of breath, grabbing our knees after we go up a few stairs.
I just dont want the people who know us as the "fitness elitists" to see us walk in slowly, breathing heavily. Not to mention, the sight of us sitting with a pile of wings, with sauce all over ourselves, eating with our hands.
I also feel bad for my girlfriend because one of our friends whose weight my girlfriend joked about a lot, will be there, and she too has lost it all. It doesn't seem fair that she should be able to watch her pig out on a sloppy meal.
So, should we go? (link)
|
It's truly sad that our society has caused so many people to care so much about physical body image. Yes, it's always good to be healthy, but real friends don't judge friends on body weight.
That being said, you called these people your friends. If you want to hang out and catch up with each other, instead of alienating yourselves based on body image, you should go act like there's nothing different. You're all friends and you can enjoy each others' company no matter who's big and who's small.
My suggestion to you is this: Go have fun! And don't be so hard on yourself. If you feel uncomfortable with your weight, a little exercise is always an option.
I hope you have fun. :)

I have a macbook and I have a geek squad accidental damage warranty. Would it cover scratches on the aluminum part of the laptop & rubber peeling around the screen? (link)
|
Typically, I would just assume no. In fact, if it was only scratches on the aluminum body, I'd still say no. That's purely cosmetic. A standard warranty will only cover manufacture errors.
However, since you have the accidental damage warranty, I would recommend reading the entire document. Chances are that they won't do anything about the rubber, unfortunately, especially if it's just the rubber pads that keep the screen from making contact with the keyboard. I'm not exactly an expert with Macs, as I've never owned one, but if for some reason there is an actual rubber seal around the screen that is damaged, they may or may not repair it for you.
As far as scratches, all laptops get them over time. They aren't going to spend money on replacing even a single part of the laptop chassis because it has a few scratches. If they did, they'd go out of business faster than you could even imagine.
If it was cracked or broken, that would be completely different. A crack can expose vital parts if the computer, leaving them open to the elements.
So, I would suggest looking at whether or not there's real damage, and then reading your warranty beginning to end.
Sincerely,
Panda
