Well, after doing a little research, I've found that used Galaxy S3s can go for anywhere between $25 and $200. Honestly, I highly doubt anyone would pay over $100 for a used phone when it's not much more than that for a brand new one.

I'm no professional marketing agent, and I've never owned a business, but I have quite a bit of personal experience selling things. I'd say if it's in good condition(no scratches on the screen, no cracks, works well, etc.) then a good starting point would be around $75. You may need to end up lowering it gradually($5-$10 at a time) until you find a price someone is willing to pay.

All that being said, because it is an older model you may end up having to sell for $20-$30, but I think you could easily get $50. And you always want to start a little higher than you actually plan on getting for it, because people will try to talk your price down.

Bartering is tricky, but if recommend starting on Craigslist advertising it for "$75 OBO"($75 or best offer).

Good luck selling your phone!
