I know there are different voice recognition programs out there but do any of them actually work, and by that I mean work well enough to use for reports for school or work? Does anyone have any experience with different ones that you could tell me about and perhaps point me in the right direction?
I guess I am afraid to waste money on software if it is just going to site on my shelf, but if it works it would save me a lot of pain since I have carpal tunnel already!
It is quite expensive, but completely worth it if you're going to use it regularly. The only warning I would give anyone is you absolutely do not want to use your computer's built-in microphone. They have terrible quality. To make the most of any voice recognition software, you really need a nice headset, which can cost $40 to well over $200.
