he's 16/m
we've been going out since october 13th..
things have been great
no fights, no drama, nothing
but this past week, i found out he smokes
i've told him before i have zero respect for those who smoke
because my dad died of lung cancer
from smoking
i told him i cared for him too much to see him kill himself like this
and since then
he's been so rude to me
he told me he only smokes when he's at work, on his break
so every time he goes on his break,
he'll text me and say "i'm on break guess what i'm doing?"
and of course i'll say "smoking."
and he aggrivates me on purpose...
i like him so much and i don't want to let him go
he's an amazing boyfriend
but i don't appreciate him being so mean to me
and also, he works with this girl, amanda
she's always saying how much she wants to do him and stuff
and he just texted me a few minutes ago
saying "i have good news"
so i said.. "what?"
and he said "amanda's going to indy with me after i get off!"
(his brother's in the hospital and he's supposed to go see him)
i don't know what to do here
he's never been so mean to me
it's like ever since i found out he smoked,
he's been in a bad mood
please help me

You don't deserve to be treated like that. At all. I understand that he was a good boyfriend and you care about him and everything, but if he's going to treat you like that then go find someone who treats you politely. A gentleman.

Tell him you're not Lindsay Lohan.. or go to a guidence counseler.. because if it's continuous it is considered harassment.. just make sure that it doesn't get around because that could possibly make it worse.. ask the counseler to say someone overheard it and reported it.. good luck!

there is this kid that i like. not a little crush "like", but the kind of "like" where your chest feels all compressed and your heart feels like its going to crawl out. i talk to him and think i've gotten to know him a lot and we say hi in the halls and stuff and he's just starting to get to know the real me. i can't get him off of my mind...ever! i want to tell him i like him but i'm not sure how he'll react or what he'll say. his last relationship wasn't that great and i know he got hurt. please give me an idea on how to tell him. If I were you, I would say something casual.. something that hints that you like him instead of just coming out with it. I would say something like "She was crazy.. what kind of girl wouldn't like you?" or that "Any girl would be crazy to pass up someone as great as you".. or maybe that "You would be happy with someone half as great as him"

well you know how if someone you know/you're having suicidal thoughts you should tell someone or call that hotline or whatever? well is it really that necessary? i myself on occasion have suicidal thoughts/feelings and if somebody did that to me i would honestly feel betrayed and i think it would be completely unnecessary. i'm not a doctor, so i guess i would not know for sure. but if i'm having or sometimes have thoughts about suicide is it really that big of a deal that needs immediate attention? like i don't think about it all the time only occasionally.. I think that it's normal to an extent to think "what if I was gone" or "how would everyone react"... but if you're seriously considering suicide I strongly suggest you call a hotline.

I was wondering if there was someway to tell if a person is sleeping...like if there was a way to maybe count their breaths they take per minute or something? I've been looking it up on google but no such luck.

Well there are different stages of sleep, so it depends on how long they've been sleeping.. If they're in a deep sleep, they experience rapid eye movement which is associated with dreaming, so if you can see their eyes moving and twitching underneath their eye lids, then they're definitely asleep. me and my boyfriend were hanging out with some othr guys at one of their houses and in this guy's bedroom was a cartoon poster of a girl with big boobs. Me and my BF and some guys were in their and my BF goes "why cant you have boobs like that?" pointing to the poster. My boobs really arent that big, and im so insecure about it. I feel like im not good enough, like he wants more than i can give. how can i like, satisfy him, you know? This is seriously making me really upset :( (link)

To be completely honest, I can't even believe your boyfriend said that to you. You should NOT have to go out of your way to satisfy him just because you're not some double D sex cartoon, and if he makes any more little remarks like that, you should really think about things with him and maybe talk to him about it if you're comfortable enough. I don't know about photoshop cs2, but I would just mess around with the filters. I have a program called Paint.NET which is totally free and has a glow feature that works really well.

i have breakouts all the time, not oily skin but normal skin. whiteheads, pimples, zits the whole shishkabob. can you recommend the best face wash you use ? that clears up your skin, and evens out your skin tone. (link)

I had some breakouts and nothing that I bought from the store ever worked for me. I know this sounds a bit cliche, but try proactive. It did really clear me up.

okay well today was me and my man's 1 month anniverseryy. :D and we havent kissed and we havent said i love you yet. we went out 1 time before and he had told me that he likes to say i love you first cause he was just like that and doesnt want to say it if he doesnt mean it. and now that we have been going outt for 1 month and he still hasent said anything yett, should i talk to him. or whatt? i started saying XO! and stuff when he gets home and texts me i say okayyy. If he's told you that he likes to say I Love You first, he's probably hinting that he wants you to wait for him to be ready. DO NOT say anything and DO NOT be pushy.. I've made that mistake sooo many times and it pushes guys away. Waiting longer will help you know he means it, and will make the moment even more special. My 2 month with my bf is on halloween, and we haven't said i love you.. trust me, 1 month is not the right time.

wow thats a hard 1. its completley not okay to go out w/ your bfs friend. so either stay with him or forget em both. sorry hun. but it is basically a rule of like, all feminism not to go out with your bfs best friend. once again, sorry, but you shouldve recongnized your feelings for him before you started going out with your bf.

whats up wit this whole poser thing i just dont get it people r age r just tryin to figure out what they want ot be like im 14 and a girl and i recently start going out wit my boyfriend he is so sweet and so funny and hes what youd call a skater and yeah i like all that skater kinda stuff like punk rock and metal music and sk8tbording and all that but i dress in ambercrombie and ae and armini and goochie and all that kinda stuff but all that pop music and crap just hurts my head now people are starting to get mad at me cause im going out wit my b/f sum of the bikers at my school are all like you shouldnt be going out wit him hes not a biker ( my last boyfriend was a bmx biker so i know all the bikers) and then all this people have started calling me a poser cause this girl saw me in zumies wit my friend and b/f and it jsut makes me mad its not like they have any say in what im doin but I jsut wanted to know why do people think its any of there bisnnes

hey-
i like this guy...lets call him, um, Jack(not his real name). So I think Jack likes me. Last year his friend told me he did, but I don't know how true that was. This year we're in two classes together and we talk sometimes. Once he threw a hacky-sack at me because he's a Red Sox fan and I'm a Yankees fan. He says that 'he's out to get all the Yankees fans'. So we throw little paper balls and pens and stuff at each other...sort of flirting. I really like him, but just because he throws stuff at me (lol) doesn't mean he likes me. He could be just flirting and not have it mean anything-what I mean is he could just be playin' as my friend or whatever. That's what I don't know. Help!
