Photoshop "different lighting and glow"

okie well you know how some emos on myspace (no offense) have their photos making their skin look soft, and there is a glow to it? it looks really really reaaaally good and im wondering how to do that on photoshop cs2. thenks!!! xoxo

I don't know about photoshop cs2, but I would just mess around with the filters. I have a program called Paint.NET which is totally free and has a glow feature that works really well.
