I'm 16, getting my driver's license at the end of December, and I've been wrestling for a while over whether or not to be an organ donor. When I got my learner's permit I opted not to be one, but a license is more permanent and I don't want to make too hasty of a decision just because the idea seems morbid. So, any thoughts? It's totally your decision... but I don't see the harm in it. Like, you'll be dead, as if you (or anyone else) is going to care if you have your organs or not. They'll sew you right back up so it's impossible to tell, that's if you even have an open casket funeral. But honestly... does it really matter to you if someone out there benefits from your death?

My best friend, Amy, went out with this guy (Nick) for a year and a half. They had a very strong and healthy relationship, but in August, he broke up with her and told her he lost feelings for her many months ago. Naturally, she was very hurt.
However, in October, she got a new boyfriend, Ron, and they have been going out for a month. At first, I was shocked at how quickly she got over Nick, but I figured she knew what she was doing.
However, recently, she told me that she still has feelings for Nick, but she DOES like Ron. She told me she thought I should know that Nick has moved on though, and now he likes me.
I'm very confused. He has not made a move on me yet. Most of you are thinking, "Okay so don't lead him into anything! Show you aren't interested" but I'm not 100% sure whether or not I am interested in him. I have never had a real boyfriend before and I sorta want one. I feel like we would be good together, but there are obviously more cons than pros. For example, people would talk badly about me, it would cause an awkward tension between Amy and I, Amy might get more upset (even though she gave me the ok to date Nick if I want to), etc.
So, I guess I'm leaning towards not wanting to date him if he were to ask me out, but how am I supposed to treat him? For instance, there is a party tomorrow, and he will be there. How do I act? He does NOT know that I know that he likes me. I don't want to call him and talk to him since it might cause more drama. What do you think?

I don't want to see my friends get hurt at all. I tend to get a little too involved and concerned though so I end up being really controlling and overprotective. This has backfired on me because then they are afraid to tell me things they would normally share with me. I just don't want any of them to be hurt by anyone/anything, but how can I learn to be less controlling? It's frustrating because I always feel like I need to take charge and make the situation "safe" for them...even if it means controlling every tiny detail! (link)

I think, what you need to do is give your friends some space and try not to flip out when they tell you things. Even if you think what they are doing is totally fucking crazy...
I don't think you should stop being controlling ALL TOGETHER, I think your friends might like that you care enough to want to step in. Just... back off a little.

I just watched an episode of Spongebob and it really got me thinking. I am a total fan of Spongebob, but I am now curious if the writers are trying to make him gay. On this particular episode Spongebob is looking for the perfect Valentine's Day gift for Patrick. Normally, on Valentine's Day a guy buys the perfect gift for a girl, not for another guy. Sandy, the female character in the show, isn't treated the same as Patrick. Spongebob doesn't look for the perfect gift for her.
Patrick is suppose to be Spongebob's best friend...not his boyfriend or lover. It's really bugging me. Are they making Spongebob into a gay guy? (link)

I don't think so, Patrick is Spongebob's best friend. I'm pretty sure that's all it was. When I watch Spongebob, I don't see Sandy as a girl anyway.
If Spongebob WAS gay, some outraged redneck parent would've written a letter or personally complained to the makers of the cartoon.

Okay so long story short, my brother is a drug addict and he has been through so much and it has had such an impact on my life. numerous times he's been brought back to life and i've seen him be taken away by the cops and he has spent years in jail. it all started when i was about 13 and i am 18 now, he is 23. I want to get a tattoo the symbolizes my love for my brother and how i support him and even how strong i had to be through all of this. it has had such an impact on my life and i already have one tattoo on my ribs so i just want a smaller one now. so any ideas would really help i just can't think of anything to symbolize what ive gone through with him, i almost considered strength in cursive on my neck but i want something more than that, something more meaningful (link)

We have a list of them and I'm having a tough time memorizing them...With no real remembrance of the periodic table is there any pattern to their symbols/charges?

Hey im an 18/f. Well in November 2008 i worked with this guy named Edde. and he was really cute and super nice. i kinda had a crush on him. but i only talked to him 2 times, but then he got fired. Well I go to community college now and i made some new friends and one of them knows Edde. Her name is Megan. She talked to him and he didn't remeber me at first but when he saw me he said you use to work at the great american cookie right? and i was like yeah. But anways she told me all this stuff about how he was dating this stripper who also goes to the same community college as us. They broke up cause she cheated on him and go pregnant but for some reason their still friends. Megan told me she's no longer friends with the girl because she thought she was trying to steal him from her. And it was all this unecessary drama and edde recently started drama with Megan so their not friends now. But i really like him and i still want to get to know him better but how do i do this with his ex g/f in the way and without making it obvious that i like him? Should i even talk to him? (link)

My friend told me that she is gay and I do not want to be friends with her anymore. It's not that I don't like her as a person but I cannot grasp the fact that she has become a lesbian. Just months ago she was dating men and now she is claiming homosexuality. I don't like it and the entire thing makes me uncomfortable. I'm trying to avoid her now more than ever since she has confessed her sexuality to me and I feel that I need to just tell her to her face why I no longer have interest in our friendship. How should I tell her? What should I say? I don't want to come off as cruel by saying, "You're a homosexual and that makes me too uncomfortable to continue a friendship with you," but at the same time I think it sounds most appropriate because it is the truth.
I know it isn't fair of me to not tell her why I have been avoiding contact with her. I know I should tell her but I'm not sure how I should go about this. I was thinking a neutral setting would be most appropriate but I don't want to embarrass her if she gets upset in some form.
Does anyone have experience with this or any ideas of how I should handle this matter? Thank you. (link)

A boy loves reading and finds himself literally inside a story. Strange things are going on at the Gothic Hospital and Johnny needs to find a way out before something horrible happens to him.
UNLEASHED. - Kristopher Reisz
A story about a bunch of mates who find they can turn into wolves, they go round the city tagging things, running a muck. Good book, worth a read.

Hey guys. Brace yourselves this is really long. I am 14/f, 15 in June, a freshman in high school, and SOOO confused. Well I am a nerd. I've had this MAJOR crush on a dude; lets call him HM, ever since the first day of high school, and HM's WAY higher up on the social status bar than I am. In fact, he's the most popular guy in the whole dang school. He turned seventeen on the 15th of May, and he's a junior. Anyways, he's SO hott, and funny, and muscular, and tall, nice and… Well I'm getting carried away sorry, heh. So, about two months or so ago, he came up to me one day and started "flirting" with me to see what I would do. His flirting with me is obviously a joke, so don’t worry, I don't have my hopes up on this. Well, I gave him this horrified/surprised look, and my face got REALLY red. And then, it began. Now, what I mean by fake flirting is he will do all sorts of things just for me to give him that look, and his attempts get more extreme as time goes on. For example, when he first started, it was only sexy looks across the classroom at me. That went on for a while until he would then mouth "I love you", then in the hallways with his friends he would say, "You see that girl right there? Yeah, that's my baby." Then (We both have the same lunch) this one time about a month ago at lunch, one of his friends came over to where my nerd friends and I were sitting at lunch, sat next to me and put his arm around me. HM came storming over and said, “HEY, what are you doing with my girl?!” His friend said “YOU’RE girl?” Then suddenly HM and his friend had this fake fight. One of his friends tied his shoelaces in a loop, put it around my neck and said “A token of my love!” HM came over, took it off and said “Get that piece of filth off my woman!” He’s been doing this at least three times a week. Once in the only class I have with him, he grabbed my hand, and once… He hugged me. I know these things are only jokes, but I’ve been noticing things lately. Like when he doesn’t do his “Routine”, out of the corner of my eye I can see him staring at me, and not in a joking way, either. Believe me, I can tell the difference. I was once walking, and he and one of his friends were behind me. His friend said “Stupid freshman…” HM said angrily “Dude SHUT UP.” So, what’s going on? A nickname my friends and I made up for love is “Diggin’ someone’s trousers.” I definitely dig his. But the question is… Are my trousers starting to catch his eye, if you know what I mean? Thanks~! i've always been a really shy and quiet person. people who don't even know me think i'm weird because of it, am i? i'm not unfriendly or antisocial, i talk when people talk to me, i'm just not always the first one to speak up. i'm not very confident but when you get to know me i open up to people. i'm afraid of how other people percieve me and it makes me shy sometimes. is there something wrong with me? am i weird because of this? or is it their problem if they don't like me?
