I was petting my dog (a female shit zu) and her belly/chest has a bump on it about an inch or more wide and an inch up its squishy and she doest yepl when we touch it or push it but I'm worried!
What is it?!
it could be a tumor, but then again it could something as little as an ingrown hair, which is harmless. ultimately i would suggest you take your dog to a vet just to be on the safe side

well im 18 years old, female.
i have a good friend, well pretty much my best friend and his name is ben. i've known him for about four years now, and i've always always had a thing for him but he use to have a girlfriend so i kept those feelings to myself and well, they never did go away. just about 6 months ago ben tried to get with me, and it pretty much came out of nowhere, i was stunned. he didn't have a girlfriend, but he was trying to get down my pants and everything. i'm still a virgin, never really done anything past kissing, making out and getting felt up so obviously my reaction to him was "no!" i've also never had a boyfriend before, it's like when i really like someone and i find out they like me too, i push myself away from them. maybe i am scared of getting into a relationship, but i don't like it at all. well just a few weeks ago ben was at my house, and well he kissed me. this boy, he turns me on alot and i know he wants to finger me but i am scared. i always feel like guys only want to use me but i've known him for 4 years, and it's not like he has always just tried to get with me. i'm so comfortable with him, i tell him alot of my problems and he does help me out. has anyone else ever felt the resistance to do something with a guy because you always feel like your going to get used? i can't live like this forver, i have to take chances ya know? maybe it is because i've never been in a relationship, and it's why i feel like this but i just need a second opinion on what you think is going on, should i trust him? do you think he is just trying to use me?
As a matter of fact, I've been through what you have. I had this bestfriend who I've known for over 10 years. Well not too long ago, he asked me to have sex with him, and i figured he was joking around seeing as he does that a lot. Turns out he wasnt. Then he just wanted to fool around ya know, do whatever but sex until i was comfortable. Im comfortable around him more than anyone in this world, but i was scared. I wanted to fool around with him so bad, like i wanted him more and more every time we would talk about doing something. He turned me on like no other, and i loved it. We never ended up doing anything though we had ample opportunity to do so. And to be honest i regret it so much. I felt used because now him and i arent the best of friends and i still want him so badd.
But I don't think he's using you, chances are he knows you have some sort of feelings towards him. And i think you can trust him, and i say go for it. Seriously, you probably wont regret it, rather than not doing it and regretting it as i do.

I have 2 puppies, both around 3 months old that I am having the hardest time training them to go to the bathroom outside. I was reading on a website that some people litter train their puppies as well. I was wondering if anyone had tried that and been successful with it. Or some tips on how to get them to want to use it. Thank you.
Also, once I get them to use it, then do I break them out of it when they get older or do I continue to let them use it or what?..
the best way to housebreak a puppy is just letting them out every 20-30 minutes. Yeah obviously its going to take a while, when they use the bathroom outside, praise them. Give em a treat or something. I wouldnt suggest a liter box it could get messy.

I have a best friend which is a male while I am a female. We used to hang out alot in the past by going for movie, have lunch/dinner together and doing all sorts of crazy things until late midnight. We are so close till he will care for me when I am sick/sad and he usually shares his problem with me, and vice versa. We used to sms till late midnight too when we need someone to keep as companian when we're bored. Things had changed recently when he told me that he has a girlfriend. I was happy for him to get into a relationship but on the other hand, I was sad because I know things will not be the same anymore as it used to be. I know we won't do all these crazy things like we used to do before he got into a relationship. Somehow, I felt that he has forgotten me and he doesn't seem to care about me anymore now. Whenever I sms him, he replies very short as though he doesn't want to sms with me, giving me all sorts of reasons to avoid me (eg: phone low battery, busy) and there is no word of concern from him anymore. Last time when he was busy, he will definetely get back to me when he is free. I am very sad over this issue as I do not know how to handle this. I thought of forgetting him as my best friend and move on, but its difficult to do it. I have known him for about nearly 8 years now. What should I do? I really need an advice to overcome this problem and I always think of how boring my life will be without my best friend. How can I solve this friendship between him and I, I just want things to be like last time. Should I move on and forget my best friend?
Ive been through this, except its when my bestfriend (male) and his girlfriend broke up is when he kinda lost everything. We fought constantly over dumb things. He left sate for a while and we still fought. pointless friendship i suppose. Anywho, you need to talk to him. Tell him how you feel. I mean you've known him 8 years, why give up now? If he's any type of bestfriend he'll realize how much his friendship means to you and you dont want to lose your bestfriend.
my pups around 5-6 months, female, shepperd mix, and she pees and drops one every night down stairs! i don't give her anything to eat before bed time so what's up? i heard they releave stress whenever they have their accidents, is this because she's alone downstairs in the dark? :[

When my Shih Tzu was that age he did that a lot. You're suppose to let a pup out every 30-45 minutes so they learn to go to the bathroom outdoors. We did kennel training. Get a kennel (dog crate) for your dog to sleep in at night. Not too big because then the dog will use it as a bathroom. But dogs wont use the bathroom in a crate they sleep in usually. Kenneling would be your best bet.
I am trying to do the whole animal shelter support thing. Aside from volunteering and donating toys and food I want to adopt a cat. The local animal shelter is great but I need some advice about a certain possible pet. I searched on Petfinder and saw that my local shelter has a Maine Coon Cat kitten up for adoption.
Now, I know there are different breeds of cat but are Main Coon Cats good choices for pets? Are they usually more aggressive than other cats and kittens? The shelter says that this cat is polydactyl (what are polydactyl cats anyway?) and will probably be larger than the average housecat--does this mean it's going to be a mean cat? Should I go for this specific cat breed or stay away and look for a "normal" house cat?
Although they may be bigger doesnt mean they're more aggresive. Polydactyl just means that the cat may have an extra toe. Its not a big deal, their kinda cute anyways. 2 of my cats have thumbs, they're adorable! Main Coons are cute, and most of the ones ove seen and been around are very affectionate.
alright, i need major help. i want a ferret so, so bad. but my parents say NO. i need your help to persuade them to say YES. i need to make them see my side of the story. their side is my older step-brother had a ferret and it stunk really bad and he left it with his parents when he went to college. and they say he only got a ferret because they didnt know what ferrets were like, but now that they had one... you know they dont want another in this house. but i think i can take better care of my ferret and keep the smell down. and our parents were also upset about the ferret tearing up the couch and ruining the carpet. but i told her i would keep it in its cage most the time, and keep an eye on it when i let him out. plus i said id keep it in my room.

Well most people will tell you get the ferret descented, dont. Its a waste of money. Their scent is because there skin has a natural oil in it, they will still have their distinct scent. On the other hand ferrets can be bathed twice a week to keep the smell down. Tell your parents you will buy him a harness and leash, those are neat for ferrets. Ferrets are kind of low maintenance animals, keep their cage cleaned and fresh food and water. Just keep telling them you're responsible enough and really think you deserve a chance with a ferret.

wow there are a lot of small breeds, heres a list that i know off the top of my head. Shih Tzu, Teacup Chihuahua, Bichon Frise, Pugs, Norfolk Terrier, Norwich Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Pomeranian, Papillon (there a little bigger), Lhasa Apso, Maltese, American Eskimo, Cairn Terrier, Cockapoo, Daschund, Jack Russel.
Check those breeds out, they are all very very adorable.
so 3 days ago my friend told me that she smoked weed that day. i pretended to be all cool about it and laughed along with him but i'm worried. he also told me that he got a months worth on cigs. what do i do? do i just let him or try to stop him or what??
I have this friend, actually bestfriend who use to smoke weed. He doesn't do it anymore and he promises me he wont because he knows i hate it more than anything. If they want to smoke, they are going to. There is probably little you can do to stop him. but you can talk to him about it, maybe see why he does it. && ask him if he could stop. or see if he can at least stop when you're around.

wow i didnt just lose a friend. I lost my bestfriend about 2 months ago. I went from being with him everyday, talking to him every night on the phone till 12:30, and just wrestling around, having fun. to not talking to him, didnt see him. nothing. I couldn't help but cry it was the worst feeling. I at that time had 2 bestfriends and my other bestfriend hated it. He tried to keep my mind off of it, but the harder he tried the worse it got. When i didnt talk to the friend i lost, i felt worthless. I didn't feel like i belonged here & i thought of running away. && yeahhh me and him are talking again because i broke down one day, got drunk, texted him and that started our friendship again. It's kind of crazy but he was scared for me when i was drunk. But we are getting closer again & to be quite honest, although we are talking. i still miss him more than anything.
If you don't want to loose this sit them down and talk to them. Loosing a friend isnt fun, it's probably one of the worse things i've been through. So talk to them about it & be honest. I wasnt completely honest which is why i kind of lost my bestfriend. So just 100% honest, no matter what.

I have always wanted a pet ferret. I am so close to buying one but I need some background on the animal before I make such a big purchase. I know close to nothing about pet ferrets. Please tell me anything and everything you know about taking care of a pet ferret. How often do they need shots? What if they bite? How often should they have a bath? Plus all the other things I do NOT know about this animal. Please help me! Thank you!
Ferrets are great animals. Before you buy a ferret you shouldn't have any cats if you do, its not a great idea to get a ferret. A ferret does have a natural odor and can smell very bad. Some people will tell you that you can always get a ferret descented, which is true but it doesnt much help, they still smell. As far as bathing goes you could give a ferret a bath once or twice a week, it will lessen the smell a bit, dont over do a bath. They do bite dont let your hands or body for that matter smell like food. it doesnt really hurt to get bit but its something people like avoiding. Ferrets usually use a liter box and it is very important to train them to use it. At school i care for five ferrets. They are loving and playful critters, they can always be a pain as well.

Most puppy do bite, they are either playing or are teething. It's not anything to worry about. But when they do bite you need to tell them "NO", and be strict about it. They need to understand what the word no means. Hope i helped =)
what can i do, because one of my cats keeps on pooping anywhere she can and also peeing in places, she is an old cat but she never used to do it, she has turned lazy, and cannot be bothered to go outside, my mum has given me two choices, either get the cat put down, or take her to the vet, but the vets these days are exspensive, would you have any ideas on what i could possibly do, but today she threw up on the sofa, and it was her cat biscuits, but i just dont know what to do
I had an 18 year old cat who was doing the samee. Unfortuanetely my mom took my cat to the vet and they ended up putting him down. You need to take your cat to the vets. Her kidney and liver might be failing, of thats the case they would ask you if you want to put her down. But there might be another problem wrong with her. Just have her taken to a vet.

it deffinetely osunds like your cat is in heat. If this is the case. Cats go into heat every 3 weeks and it lasts anywhere from 9-10 days. It happens throughout the year. The only thing you coulddo to help is spay her, but its not a must do thing.

7th Grade, That time in your life you start to see who is actually your friends. It's only one friend with me. Say her name was... Jane. Jane and I have been BFFs since before preschool. Me and her did everything together. Anyways, in grade 3 i met a girl named, say.. Kelsey. Kelsey lived only a few houses away from me and we hung out a lot. (The longest we've ever gone with out a sleepover starting 5th grade, 8weeks) Kelsey was also a bit spoiled but i didnt mind she was still a good friend. Jane and Kelsey werent the best of friends and never saw eye to eye. Me and kelsey do everything together (I'm going to see Rihanna with her tomorrow!) and i can see how Jane would be a bit jealous. Well ever since before a camp i went to in the summer, Jane has been acting like a bi*** to me. I still wasnt shaving my legs then and she came up to me (out of no where), ran her hand up my leg and said when was the last time you shaved? No not said YELLED! to the whole camp. I also had streaks put in my hair before school started. I kinda went a little beserk and now there's a huge streak of blond right by my face. It looks BAD! Jane points it out to everyone I meet. I HATE IT!!! She makes up secrets about me that sooo aren't true and she tells my true secrets to people! I tlaked to her on the phone the other day and yold her. She said she just wanted to be one of those POPULAR grade 8s next year. I asked her if being popular was more important than being my friend. She didn't answer and i hung up. She done a lot more horrible things to me but if i wrote them all it would take you alll day to read this.

People leave behind the ones who care about them the most just so they could get attention from others. Stick with your friend Kelsey she seems to be a much better friend. so, me and this girl used to be friends, but now we hate eachother. like really badly. And she always fights with me (even now) about the stupidest shit. Well, today, she talked shit behind my back.......and she thought I was doing something similar, but I wasn't.
My question is : what's the best thing to do? Confront or just ignore and leave them alone no matter how upset you are?
you have to ignore her. if you confront her its giving her more reason to fight with you. If you just ignore her she will eventually get tired and leave you a lone. She may say you are chicken or baby but thats just immature & you cant let that bother you. You are being the bigger person by leaving the whole situation a lone. & if you ignore it, things will get better. she wont try to start fights about stupid shit. you have to let it go.
