How do you download MSN Messenger for a knoppix linux system? If you could give me any links, that would be great! i rate 5's (link)

Wow great another linux user.
Just as a tip Koppix aint that great, Ubuntu is maybe you could give that a go at some point.
Anyway... you dont get MSN messenger per say on linux but there are loads of similar applications to let you talk to your friends.
Gaim is one which if memory serves me correctly should be installed already. It will look different and wont have all the same features but thats cos its not the same program.

Technically you could run it under the wine virtual machine, but its not for newbies and not worth the hassel in my opinion.

Depending if you had met his parents outside of work, them knowing your name is a bit of a sign that he talks about you at home.
Men rarely feel comfortable around a girls parents, possibly due to the steritypical "you're not good enough for my daughter" coming from the dads.

Do you think he likes me? - Id say there is a fairly good chance, tho you can never be 100% certain. Men are nearly as odd as women.
What sould [sic] i do? - Well that depends what you want. But what ever it is you do want, i think you should just go and do it. You will only feel depressed if you miss the opportunity.
What would you do if an older girl you talked to occasionally asked you to her prom? - That realy does depend on the guy. Maybe you should see if he wanted to go out on a date first? Cinema etc. Just phrase what ever it is gently, ask if he has any plans around and that you were wondering if he would he like to join you in ? You dont even have to say its a "date".

guessing at what yoiur question means:
try desaturating the image (remove all colour)
then use "channel mixer" to give it a colour (any colour to start with)
then you can use "hue/saturation" to play with the actual colour/lightness etc

I have a question on MSN i removed the newer version of msn off my computer and then i thought it was all said and done and then someone said hey to me on the older version of msn and I can't find the icon or toolbar for MSN anywhere on my computer. Its not on the add or remove programs list either. Has anyone else had this problem or can someone help me please? (link)

This is windows messenger, comes installed with most versions of windows by default.
One way i found to stop it was on system startup (just turned on your computer) go into your "program files" folder and rename the "messenger" folder to something else.
Check the settings that it has to make suure it doesn't start up with windows first.

I've tried soo hard to do this but i cannot figure out how the hell people do it.
What i want to know is how ppl make a picture black and white and make one thing a different color?

a slightly different way is:
1 - do your selection of what you want to be left alone.
2 - either invert your selection or copy it to a separate layer so the bit you want isn't edited.
3 - then depending on your program, (either keeping the inverted selection or selecting the full layer) you need to either decrease the saturation or "desaturate" it.
simple :)
You may need o play with whether you need to use anti-aliasing before doing the selection or not. This changes how hard the selection is.

I need some advice! There is this guy i like: He's two years younger then me and we work togehter. We work almost every weekend together and i don't think he has a girlfriend. I've never really liked a younger guy, so i don't know what to expect and if he liked me back. Here are a few signs i have gotten:
-he looks at me a lot, for a long time as if he were lost, and when i ask what he will say something random like "i didn't know you were working today"
-he smiles at me a lot but doesn't talk to me as much as he does the other girls. When he does talk to me its about the most random things
-he will sometimes joke around with me, by telling me that im not working hard enough or something like that.
-the other day he grabbed by stomach from behind and scared the hell out of me, he laughed and walked away. I didn't know what that ment?
-Sometimes his parents will come through my cash(were cashiers at a supermarket) and his mom will always adress me by name and is always smiling (although she is a friendly woman)
-and when my parents go through his cash he gets really nervous and never really looks at my parents.
I don't know if any of these signs can really tell if he likes me or not, but some honest advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance (link)

Im guessing you aren't still at this social gathering, but the fact she has noticed you (actually spoke to you) is a big step.
Im the same with being all mumble, you wont get over it without practice, and just not being afraid of rejection.
Theres no harm in mentioning that you are a bit nervous as long as you dont keep bringing it up.
After spending a bit of time with her (i hope you got a number?) you will calm down and all should be ok.
Just remember women are odd creatures and theres plenty of them, just be proactive.

I would go to a gym and talk to one of the trainers.
Maybe even sign up for a few sessions.
You dont just want to "do weights" because if you arn't careful you will build your muscles unevenly.
As i cycle im all legs and no arms, not the best look.
Just talk to people whos job it is to advise on these things.

School is a great place to make friends as there are so many others the same/similar age.
Other than that after school clubs (sports?), may not sound cool but will help you build confidence.
Find something you enjoy and notice when other people seem to like the same things.
Its not going to be easy but if people percieve you as being a loner then they are less likely to approach, so that means you may need to approach them.
Find smaller groups of people to begin with and build on that.
Self confidence can be hard to build but helps a lot in everything. A bit of humour helps too.
I also noticed you amazing writing skills for a 13 year old, maybe poetry or something similar?

It totally depends on the girl and their age whether you are after a relationsip or a quick shag etc.
Generally id say:
- a bit of self confidence without being cocky
- a good sence of humour
- respectful
- not being too lazy helps
- honest
- willing to compromise

This is prob the wrong topic but I bought this phone =...moto razr black...and it has bluetooth and I want to transfer pics from ym phone to my computer. The problem is...I got the cd for the data cable...but I have to wait till nex week to collect the data cable, the case n the headset. IS there any possible way to download bluetooth? (link)

to transfer anything from one device to another using bluetooth, they both need to have a bit of the device that does bluetooth.
Pcs normally have a bluetooth usb dongle (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=usb+bluetooth+dongle) , some laptops come with this piece built in.
As you have a phone it is also sometimes possible to transfer images using MMS messaging, Email or infrared. Though you will need to take a look at the manual that came with your phone to find out how.

first of all sorry this is so long!!!
i really like boys to answer this cause they know how other boys are thinking cause boys are a soo weird sometimes :-)
well i really really like this guy and uhm lets call him D :-) so i am a new kid in this school (i kinda really hate) but never mind that! uhm so i really often looked at D but not because i liked him or something just because he was interesting and always so funny and hyper so i think he took it like she loves me or something! and then once he talked to me and well then i started to like him but i was really shocked and answered weird when he asked me something and he was like: why are you so mean to me? so than he asked me if we should be friends or something and then he got interrupted and than my busstop (this whole conversation was on the bus :-) came so i never answered that question! then i kinda ignored him even if i loved him and then he told me he loves me and i was so shocked i was like: uhm 2 bad! or something AAHH i felt really bad than so i called him about 3 weeks later because im just shy with boys! and i said im sorry and all he said was like: uhuh or yeah and since than he always ignored me and sometimes he looks at me but only when im not looking (but hes not smyling or anything)and i dont know what to do anymore! i wanna talk to him but im scared that he wont answer again and everything! and by the way does he still like me? what is he thinking? cause i know he really loved me once you could see it the way he smiled at me....... and is he like over me now or something? hes always ignoring me and that hurts! but i really love him! what is he thinking???? This always happens in life, does he like me? does he not?
Id say that if he didn't like you at all he wouldn't be looking at you. He is probably waiting for you to make the move (maybe a bit shy around girls?), so why not just do it.
Catch him after your last lesson together in the day and explain how you feel.
It is sometimes a little risky to use the word love untill you know them a little better, so id say you just really like him a lot and would like to be friends.
If things go further later on, let it.
There really is no need to rush things.
I wish id made the move more often.
