Theres 2 kinds of Vitamin A- Beta carotene and Retinol (the stuff that helps you with night blindness) Carrots are among the best sources for Vitamin A as a natural food but what has to be remembered is that Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that is able to be stored in the body in contrast to a vitamin like C which is water soluble and any excess is just passed through the urine. Generally you need to be supplementing with very very high amounts everyday over a long period of time to feel the effects of Vitamin A or any other fat soluble vitamin (A,D,E,K) toxicity.

liver
sweet potatos
carrots
mangoes
spinach
cantaloupe
dried apricots
milk
egg yolks
mozzarella cheese

p.s. you've probably already heard this 10000 times before, but too much vitamin A can be toxic, so don't engorge!
