Anyway... you dont get MSN messenger per say on linux but there are loads of similar applications to let you talk to your friends.
Gaim is one which if memory serves me correctly should be installed already. It will look different and wont have all the same features but thats cos its not the same program. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
