Q: whats the symptom of mono i have had a sore throat for three days and its bothering me. or that other sore throat thing with the spots i forget what its called

i totally have mono right now. it started out a semi sour throat and then it progressed and it got worse. so my mom took me to the er and they tested me for strep throat and it was negative then they took blood and told me i had mono.

i thought it would get way worse like they say and i would be all tired and whatnot but all ive had was a sour throat and that has only lasted me a couple days.

normal symptoms are:
-Fatigue
-Weakness
-Sore throat, perhaps a strep throat that doesn't get better with antibiotics
-Fever
-Swollen lymph nodes in your neck and armpits
-Swollen tonsils
-Headache
-Skin rash
-Loss of appetite
-Soft, swollen spleen
-Night sweats

lasts about 4-6 weeks.

Q: hi i'd like to know which ones better cause i have a pc with vista and it runs so slowwwww eventhough i haven't installed much things yet =S ...and i've heard that mac work faster and you can get windows in it ..i just want to know like ..will i have many problems if i buy a mac (because of compatibility) which one od you prefer??? have in mind that I need to take it to school 12 hours and my battery only last barely 2 hours and my computer its not even old model :S and i have to take the charger with me all the time and its really heavy ,eventhough tthe smalles of the hp computers its very thick...thnx sorry if its long

Q: should i shave down there? i did and i dont think i did it right. which way do i shave? like towards where the hair grows or against it. you know what i mean? like..can you just explain howww i should shave downt there? thanks SO much, you guys are too cool. =)

shave ethier way thats most comfortable for you. when i first started shaving i shaved the way the hair was growing. but when my sex life began i started shaving the opposite way. (against the hair) i can honestly say ive never had an ingrown hair there but when i shave up i do bleed. not like alot but some spots bleed and it causes alot of pain. so. what i usually do and what you might decide to do is: i shave against the hair then instead of shaving it every day i wait a couple days until the hair has grown out a tiny bit and i shave against the hair again. in the meantime i shave down. it keeps me from getting ingrown hairs and eliminates alot of "down there" problems.

i would recommend bottom for your first time. then if you begin to get comforable with the sex during your first time and there isnt to much pain then you can try switching to top. i dont believe there are any ways to reduce the pain from breaking a hymen but i do know that ive had plenty of sex and i havent bled once. for that i dont know. you could come to find that youve already broken your hymen by using a tampon or something of that sort.

One of the reasons I'm in love with him is because the way he looks out for me. He always makes sure I'm comfortable with what we're doing, and that he's careful.

I said I wanted to, so he put the condom on. I was really scared/nervous since I'm no on birth control. He said that he wouldn't cum in me, but he would still use the condom. He also wants me to be on birth control.

The second after, my mom yelled down to tell me something and I felt a little releavied. I just was so scared about getting prenant, I forgot how much I wanted to share this moment with him. I kept asking him what he was thinknig but he seemed to maintain composure. Is his age at all a difference as to why he was so calm?

This has happened a few times in the past week where we have ALMOST had sex. About 3. This was the closest.

ok. so. your relationship might feel a little different. heres a short story about what happened to me and maybe you can relate in the future. i was best friends with a boy for 8 years and i was a virgin he wasnt. i am fully convinced that i am in love with him but weve never been "a couple." i waited bc i thought it would change out friendship. about 3 months ago we were together and decided to try having sex. since then he acts completely different torwards me and doesnt call or act like he cares anymore. it could possibly change your relationship.

if your mom is a total freak out mother then theres really no way to tell her about birth control unless you just come out with it. i would advise getting a older friend with a car to take you to the health department and tell them you have become sexually active and you want to try birth control. they should provide you with free birth control. tell then also you want to keep your visit confidential that way they wont contact your parents about your visit.

also there is always the possibility of getting pregnant on birth control and using condoms. the only 100% effective way of not becoming pregnant is not having sex. but i wouldnt be terrified. if your on BC and using condoms and hes pulling out then i dout youll get pregnant if your careful.

maybe she is just experimenting with these "drugs." i wouldnt be upset with her. i would just tell her that your 100% not interested in trying drugs with her bc you know what it does to your life and you dont want to get involved with it. tell her its best for her health if she not do things involving drugs and things she knows is wrong. drugs are a total no but weed and hooka are not as bad as it gets. if she starts doing worse drugs than those and you fear her life then let someone know to help her. possibly her parents. you may lose a friend for a while but eventually she will appriciate that she had a friend that was willing to help her. i hope everything works out and i hope that was some help. :)

ps. and if you lose a friend at least you know you cared. plus friends dont pressure friends into doing things they dont want to. she should accept that you want to stay clean.

i have acne also and i use clean and clear morning burst face wash. it works well. your face feels extremely stiff after using it but dont apply lotion or it wont dry out your acne.

Q: The other night me and my boyfriend had sex. I'm not on birth control pills or anything, and we used a condom. The condom broke, and the next day I had to go get the morning after pill. If I tell my mom that I've had sex, she might kill me, or just start being really really overprotective, which I don't want. your local health department should give you free birth control. im 16 and i went to get the morning after pill and when the nurse was questioning me they asked if i needed condoms or if i wanted to get birth control and just tell them you want to keep your visit private and they shouldnt send mail or call your house.
