Are there more than one that is on you? Or, have you noticed anymore? Crabs do not have to be sexually transmitted. It could be that someone you knew had lice, and inadvertently transferred it to you.
Since I don't know what the bug in question looks like, here is a few web sites about body lice. If it is this, I would suggest going to see your doctor for two reasons. #1- you need a prescription lice shampoo to help cure it. #2- lice live off bacteria in your skin and sometimes, you need an antibiotic to clear that bacteria up, thus killing the lice since they have no food to live off of. Lice do not suck blood like tics and fleas do. In any case, I would have the doctor check it out. If it is to embarassing, or your afraid that your parents won't understand that you didn't get this by sexual intercourse, my suggestion would be to get an over the counter lice shampoo and follow the directions on it. Also, and this may sound weird, but you could shave off all your pubic hair, they wouldn't have anything to attach to. If you are going to do the latter, I would still suggest you get a shampoo first, because then you could inadvertently give it to someone else too. Lice can live off of a person's body, for a short while, and could get transferred to someone else, or even in your own hair. Good Luck!! ]
it sounds like crabs, and you don't have to be sexualy active to get them
crabs are like lice except on the rest of your body, go to your mom and ask her to make a doctor's appointment, it might be nothing but don't take that chance ]
