I am a female and am 22 and have never had a boyfriend. This seems to bother my family more than it bothers me.
My mom, grandma, and aunts will make comments about it. I can't relate to my sisters and cousin who are completely different from me, and have dated since they were 14. Recently someone I don't know asked my mom about me, a guy, and said he eNter to meet me. I am not interested right now in dating, I like guys and eventually want a boyfriend but not now. I am under slot of stress right now, I have slot of anxiety, depression, my home life is not normal, not is my parents relationship, and my family is very judgmental. My mom wants me to,meet this guy and I don't. Now everyone thinks im weird. What do I do? (link)

Wow, you never had a boyfriend. I hope you're atleast dating. Here the problem. If you ask on an internet forum, girls will always be supportive in their own girlish way and tell you to take your time. After all everybody deserves a 'me' time. The problem here is no girl is talking about the consequences to you. Why should they? They dont have to face them. But you do. I'm a guy and I'm not saying that you need to have a boyfriend. But do date. I'll explain why too. I didnt date much till my early 20's. When I did get into relations, I ended up with all the wrong girls. You see, because of my inexperience I wasnt able to tell the difference between the right girl and girl appearing to be the right girl. The difference between love and fun. After a lot of heartbreaks, I finally learnt how weed out the wrong girls. Assuming if you dont get some experience now and one fine day a guy sweep you off your feet and you get married. How would your know if he's mr. Right or Mr. appearing right? All I ask is to not leave things to chance. dont need to get a boyfriend right away but dont quit the game completely either.

Is it stupid for me to be irritated with myself that i still haven't lost my virginity at 18? I've only had one boyfriend, 2 years ago..And I'm slightly ashamed of that..not about not having sex yet, but It's irritating to me because I want to lose my virginity. Is your vagina regularly examined by other to confirm if you are a virgin or not? If no, there's nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to get rid of the itch and go ahead and have sex. but dont trap a poor guy and have sex with him and tell him its love. Because he was hoping to be her first which she threw away and in his face. The problem with guys such as your husband is that they have intimacy issues. I think your husband is from a broken home such as mine. If I'm not wrong, he has faced severe physical abuse during childhood. In situations like this, men tend to be cold and reserved at home and find solace in another home. Since they face physical abuse, a soft touch by a close family member is associate with the hard punches he got in childhood. hence he may also keeping a physical distance from those living close to him. Ask him about this childhood. if he has really faced abuse in childhood, he really needs help & consultation before he can open up to you. Good Luck!!!

I have been seeing my boyfriend for about 3 years now. He's really a great guy, comes from a wonderful family, works really hard in college, etc. He's probably the best guy out there. He's really perfect. I don't have anything bad at all to say about him.
Well, I've been cheating on my boyfriend for about a year or year and a half now. All the cheating has been with the same guy so I'm not like a whore or something. My boyfriend has NO idea that I've been seeing this other guy on the side.
Anyway, the problem is that I'm pregnant. I don't want to lose my boyfriend though!
Now, maybe you are asking, "Well, how do you KNOW it isn't your boyfriend's baby? Why not wait until you give birth and then have the baby paternity tested?" Well, because my boyfriend and I had decided to stay virgins until our wedding night. Yeah, in three years we haven't had any sort of sexual relationship. Yes, he thinks I'm a virgin just like him.

1. The virginity oath was probably your idea which you used to follow and then forced it upon him
2. You broke your promise
3. You repeatedly engaged in sexual pleasures while depriving him from it. That's selfish
3. You repeatedly lied not once but over 1 and half year
4. You didn't even use the proper protection. Hence you were careless and didn't even bother that you may carry diseases that could be passed on to your future boyfriend should sexual intercourse with him occur in the near future
5. You permitted someone else to sow his owns in your garden while your boyfriend frustratingly controls his own urges
6. You're so arrogant over your mistakes that you dont want to tell him you cheated so that you can continue appearing that you are a pure virgin and equal to him.
7. You lied again....you dont love him
8. You are so incredibly selfish that at the end of this question, you didnt ask how you can tell him the truth or how you can save this relationship...but how can you feel better about this!!!!
Of all the lies, you did say one truth. You do want to marry him. But not because you love him. Because he's a decent hard working great person who can get plenty of girls better than a whore like you. You dont want him to know the truth. if anything else, you want him to pay for your mistakes. You'll probably have sex with him and lie to him that the baby is his. if so, then know this, i always believed women were whore. and when any women tries to prove me wrong, I'll always give you as an example and prove forever that not only all women are whores but liars, gutless and wuss just as you are.
