My parents never let me, nor take me to get my hair cut. I want bangs so bad, so im thinking about cutting them myself. I have the proper scissors for it, I just need like on strand. But i dont know how to do it and i dont want to screw my hair up. Any tips on how to do it nicely?
If you want your bangs to look nice then dont do it yourself..cause if you mess up then your screwed and your parents probley still wont take you. If your parents wont take you then I would say when you go to the mall with one of your friends of family friends then go get it cut on your own. You shouldnt need your parents permission to cut your own hair. But definitly DONT do it by yourself.

At the begining of the year my biology honors teacher had us fill out a form about us. It asked what we wanted to be careerwise. I put that I wanted to be a journalist. The other day he read off what everyone wanted to be. The other kids wanted to be surgeons, and marine biologists..all really important things. When he got to my name he said "Journalist!....Good luck with that. She'll never get a job"
I was so embarassed! Everyone else had really important careers picked out and mine was so stupid. I'm not sure if I want to be a journalist anymore but now I have no idea what I want to do. I have to look at colleges next year and I have no clue what I want to major in. Can anyone help me?
dont let anyone put you down like your teacher did..if you really want to become a journalist then you should..if your not sure about what you want to become go to your guidence couselor or someone older with expeirience.

I think you shouldn't even cut your hair. Just let it grow out. Girls like it when a guys hair is all in his face..when it gets in your eyes just push it back or something like most the boys do.

I don't think I have an eating disorder but some people say I am on my way onto being annorexic. I mean I am 93lbs and 15 years old. I am always watching my weight making sure I am not over 95lbs. I know it may sound crazy but I don't know.. if I get at 95 or above not usually to 98 though I quit eating till I am back to 93lbs. I don't know why I do this but it is just how I am. I do not eat Breakfast or Lunch but always Supper. So please help me and give me some reasonable advice other than "you need to eat breakfast and lunch cuz its not healty" cuz that is all people seem to say, I mean my boyfriend is worried but to me this is the only way to control MY life.
I guess i can understand what your saying..But i think you should definityly try talking to someone about this other than kids in school. 93 pounds for a fifteen year old girl??! no offense but thats crazy and gross! no girl at that age should weigh that little amount. My sister felt the same way you did and was anorexic at about 15/16..but she went to a therapist for help. Thats no good to feel that you HAVE to loose weight because you gained a pound or two. Your so young dont be worring about your weight. You should be healthy,not 93 pounds. Do something now because this can effect you physically and mentally as well.

What you did wasnt wrong..you may have said it nasty which may be why she doesnt want to talk talk to you. But if my friend told me to shut up!..then shes not even worth the effort. I think that was a great idea..to finally tell him how you feel. If he does reply as a jerk..i would just try getting over him. No guy is worth the drama, crying, or even the effort of trying. If he doesnt feel the same way as you theres no sense in trying to convince him to. It sucks..but your going to meet plenty of guys that are immature jerks. ok, so it was just last night that I had my first slow dance ever. & it was with just who i wanted it to be with, my crush. & he knows i like him, most people say it was a bad idea telling him, but i think its good, we talk way more now!!.. but anyways, we danced to this song that was like "you cant tell me its not worth fightin for" & I thought it was sooo true in my case. but anyways, the whole time we were dancing he was talking to this other girl, who is way skinnier & prettier than me :( & I felt soo bad because I was just thinking, "whats the point on dancing with him. its just breaking my heart more.. does he even care how i feel?" & when the song ended, ((luckily it was the 2nd to last song of the night)) I just sat on the wall & cried, because, it broke my heart more dancing with him but still knowing that I can never have him! what should I do?! I want to be with him so bad, but it seems like he doesnt care that much. I cant let him go, & I dont want to. awww...i feel so bad. Boys are like that..he obviously knows that you like him so he'll play hard to get and go flirt with other girls just to get you jealous and want him more. Dont put yourself down and complain about how ugly you are compared to that girl because no boy is worth crying over. There's this girl at school that tries to stick to me like glue. We both get to school very early in the morning, and she comes every day to chat.
