OK, so Ive been looking for a website like this,and Im so glad I finally found it.
Anyway,so I have self esteem issues.
And I have a step dad who's making it worse and doesnt realize.
He thinks I cant do anything wrong,and that Im some kinda "geek" and a "wannabe".
I want to prove him wrong,but I dont know what to change. I mean,I dont want to try to be all "cautious and perfect" around him,but how can I NOT be a geek and flip out so easy. (link)

Don't change yourself in any way. You are who you are and thats what makes you special. You have to tell him straight up, "dad your really bringing my esteem down". I would recomend sitting him down and making sure he knows that you are serious. You don't have to prove to him that you aren't a geek, just be who you are.

you have to ask yourself if its worth it...is going out with this guy worth losing your friend....however, if seirra was really your friend she would respect anyone you go out with and not get jealous...

sooo ok dont judge me because im asking this. im completely normal, i just love my boyfriend so much. weve been dating for 2 years and he suffers from schitzophrenia and he refuses to take medication because he hates the way it makes him feel. i feel so horrible 4 him because he is in so much pain and its just getting so much worse. i know he doesnt want to live anymore. yesterday he asked me to kill him and at first i didnt think he was serious but we talked for a while and he said it was the only way or he would do it himself. i dont want him to go to hell for committing suicide so i told him i would kill him so id go to hell instead. i havnt decided if im going to kill myself yet because my boyfriend says he doesnt want me to do that. but i dont know if i could deal with the fact i killed the boy im in love with. but what happens if a 16 year old kills another 16 year old who asked her to do it? jail? death penalty? psychiatric center forever? im not crazy im just putting the one i love out of his misery because i cant stand him being in pain any longer. id rather be in pain for him. just wanna know what would happen. dont try to do all that talking out of it and stuff either. wont work. thanks (link)

life is a gift...dont throw it away....if you killed him who would know he asked you to do it....what if your in court and all you have to say is "he told me to"....just dont do it.....if you really care about him you should go to a guidance counselor at school or somethingg..You will be in serious shit if you kill him...you should be happy that you wake up every day....people in africa are really dieing and they would love to live...but they dont have food or water in some parts.....you are very fortunate to be living and not be in some peoples shoes....trust me......my brother died in a car crash and i was in the back seat......i think about him every day....i dont feel sorry for myself....i got out of the hospital glad that i was alive and said "every day that i live is a gift from god...." so now im working on making the most of my life..... good luck....got anything else? email me at aidanrtalcott@gmail.com

1: Find a girl you really like.
2: Sit near her table at lunch.
3: Ask your friends about her. (It'll help you pick up information about her that you might not have known before).
4: See if she has a facebook.

umm ok, me and this girl got in a fight about a year ago (im in 8th grade) and we used to be like best friends, but now that we got in the huggeeeeee fight, i just want it all to be over. i still lke her as a friend, like well not really. but shes friends with all my other friends.

Alright, im in 9th grade and ive been through stuff like this in my life....the best option is just to come up to her and apologize for everything that youve done in the past and say you want a fresh start.....if she gives you the cold shoulder or still is mean then you cant feel guilty....you tried to make it work but she just acted rudely....good luck..

im a freshman in high school....trust me....NEVER break up with a girl on the phone, on the computer, by a note.....etc....you should do it in a very polite way face to face....I say this because if you offend her and do somthing thats rude shes gonna go tell all her friends and they wont like you and itll ruin your chances with them. also....you dont have to break up with her if you still like her.....you can just ask her to tell her friends to stop bothering you....dont worry, cuz if you go out with her for a long time, eventually they will stop...good luck

I'm a freshman aswell...you can do two things....first, you can start talking to the first guy and see if you like him more that the other kid, or you can dump this guy and go out with the other kid. My reccomendation is to first get to know this guy. If you dont know what he is like, how do you know that you wouldnt like him. It depends what kind of mp3 you are getting....yes it is true that you can only listen to it for some time. If it runs on battery it will last you very long...if it is an ipod like i have and it plugs into a wall it will last you a couple hours even a day....depends on how much you listen to it. Don't worry, mp3 players and ipod are both useful music players that you can listen to for long periods of time

Well, I did the same thing. I was dating for a little while and then we broke up and got right back together. Now, we continued from before because how can you start over. You already know a lot about the person and you've probably already kissed him. So just continue along and pretend you never broke up.

I went shopping at the Gap yesterday with my best friend. We did our normal routine and checked out a few places in the mall before heading over to the Gap, where my best friend spotted a really cute top. She couldn't (and still can't) afford the top at the Gap though so we ended up having to pass it up. We had lunch at Subway after shopping and she started talking about the top at the Gap. Her sweet 16 birthday is coming up and, even though I'm throwing her a party, I think it would be kind of nice to buy the top for my best friend as a birthday present.
The Gap top is actually $48 though.
Do you think it's appropriate for me to give this to her as a birthday gift or do you think it's too expensive? She has no idea that I'm thinking of purchasing the top from the Gap for her so it isn't a big deal if I pass it up. I could always pick her up something from Hollister since she is crazy about Hollister too. My first though was to pick her up a shirt from Hollister actually until she fell in love with this shirt at The Gap. (Anyone have a general preference to The Gap or Hollister anyway?)

I think it would be fine. Just make sure that her parents aren't already getting it for her because she probably told them about it already. Sixteen is a huge party for a girl. I think its okay.

She is Li Lingwei of China. She and her compatriot Han Aiping reached the final of almost every tournaments they entered and they both dominated female badminton in the 80s. Li beat Han most of the time. They were a class of their own. Susi Susanti was the best in the 90s and I'm sure she was only the 3rd best of all times.

Hi, my realationship is somehow difficult and complicated. It's hard to explain.
I met this girl 4 months ago. We officially went to bf and gf after 2 weeks or so. We had a great time, till I had to go back to europe. Before I left we decided that she moves to me to Europe to stay with me and learn german,...,...
The first couple weeks went great. She told me that she loves me all the time and that I'm so different and I'm the one. After like 6 weeks everything changed, she did not call that often anymore, she did not say I love you anymore. I know a long distance relationship is not easy, so I decided to fly over. She was very very happy to see me, she was so nice to me in front of all her friends. But the 2nd night she told me she loves me, but she is not in love with me, what does that mean? I know she is really really afraid of commitment, her earlyer b'friends did hurt her a lot when they broke up and they cheated on her and stuff. So I can understand that it is not easy for her. She told me she never going to trust a guy again. Also she told me she saw her ex boyfriend again and she does not know what she feels about him. I did not know what to say and we went on for the next day. We had another great week together, she always introduces me as her boyfriend and she tells me im cute and stuff. I could feel that she likes me. Before I left she also gave me her cloths for Europe with me and I met her mother and brother for dinner. Why would she introduce me to her family if she s not in love with me? I just do not know what to think, I'm somewhat confused. Maybe someone can give me some advice or advice. I can not talk about it with her, she blocks all the time.
She also told me she is really really afraid that when she is moving over that it will not work out and she doesn't know if she is ready to live with me, it's a huge comitment for her.
I mean I think there are signs that tell me, she is not loving you and she wants to break up. On the other hand she does always things that keep you on believe, oh, maybe she really cares and just doesn't want to show it because she doesn't want to get hurt when she goes 100% for it.
Thankfull for any advice, I will add some more input later.

Well...you have to take it slow if she wants to..If you love her a lot you will be willing to make that commitment..she is afraid but let her know that you will always be there for her and that you are different than all the other guys..when you lose all hope...you just have to say to her"i love you and i dont think you love me so I dont know if this will work out" she will probably spill all the beans if you say that. i really hope this works out for you...good luck

There is only one way for you to get over this...you cant listen to your friends so much. If you like him, you like him...Its not their choice and if they want to make fun you..so be it....one way to end it would be to ask him out...get it over with..he could say yes...and if he does...your friends wont have anything to say..write back and good luck at the dance...

Alright...you have many ways to keep in touch...first off...if you dont feel comfortable telling him somthing write to him...its old fashioned but if you love him it is romantic...Over the phone is great because you can hear his voice and he can hear yours...this improves the relationship..theres also screen names...you can always chat on that...if you have a video camera on you computer thats perfect because thats almost like being there together...they sell those things pretty cheap too so its not a big problem. send him pictures and ake sure you get some from him too...true love is strong...not even a couple states can pull it apart...good luck...write back..

OK...um look you have three options...1st...health before shyness.....if you dont tell your parents it could get infected and be dangerous...2nd...save up a little money and set up an appointment...explain to the doctor why he cant tell your parents....and 3rd....if you have a regular checkup ask your mom if you can go in alone....when your in alone tell him....or you could even fake being sick....then when you go to the doctor tell him the truth...write back...

Well, i went to a party on friday night with my friend and my friend introduced me to one of her friends named "joe." Well, i thought joe was a pretty nice guy and was really cute. My friend told him that and he said he thought i was pretty but he liked someone else. He said he wanted to talk to me and get to know me at school tomorrow and see how i am so he can see if he would like me or not. I get really nervous around guys, especially guys who know i like them. I really want to make a good first impression but i don't want to sound nervous or embarresed when he comes to talk to me. That's just my natural reaction. He also told my friend that he didn't like girls who wouldn't talk to him or who were really shy. I am kinda shy around new people and i don't know how i am going to act not shy around him because i know i will. What do i do? How do i make a good first impression? Alright...well even though your shy...if you really want a shot at this guy your going to have to be ready to answer questions...dont choke....when you choke...you cant breath so when you see him breath slowly....also....try to get a list of questions that bring up a good conversation...this is because once you get into a good conversation with him...youll feel more relaxed...
