I have never in my life heard of only having a certain time to listen to your mp3 player. Unless you are getting one heck of a ghetto thing. Don't worry about it until you get it, and if you get it and it says that somewhere- return it ASAP and go ipod.

It depends what kind of mp3 you are getting....yes it is true that you can only listen to it for some time. If it runs on battery it will last you very long...if it is an ipod like i have and it plugs into a wall it will last you a couple hours even a day....depends on how much you listen to it. Don't worry, mp3 players and ipod are both useful music players that you can listen to for long periods of time
