Bassically I joined advicenators to help people. My names Sheridan♥. Most of my friends call me Sherri though. I have a boyfriend who I love very much♥ We just recently got back together again =]. So, feel free to ask about ANYTHING and I'll do my best to try and help you

advice

me and my gf broke up like 3 weeks ago but we still hang out sometimes. we were watching a movie and when it was over we started makin out and so i stopped real quick and was like, "we're still friends, okay?" and she didnt say anything so i kept kissin her but she wasnt kissing me back and she started crying so i kinda just left. we've talked since then but why was she crying??? did i do the right thing??? what should i have done if i didnt??? what do i do now???

oh boy. you probably shouldnt have made out with her. if you broke up with her then its most likely shes still got feelings for you. if she broke up with you then idk whats goin on, but if she says shes fine with the fact that you two are just friends and that shes gonna be okay.. dont listen to her. if she started crying when you said that you guys were just friends that means she still cares alot about you. and dont go making out with her anymore unless shes up for it. it might make her think you still like her as much as she does you and it will just hurt her more and more inside

My bff has not started her period and won't be starting it until another 2 years or so, (thats the expected time because her mom had her period at the age of 15)Anyways she is 12 going on 13, she as well as I are being pressured into sex by people from our school, from girls as well as guys saying its feels good e.t.c.,But i'm waiting til i'm married. She wants to have sex with her boyfriend and she said she won't get pregnant because she doesn't have her period yet.And I have been told you can only get pregnant if you have your period. Is that true? Can she avoid pregnancy since she don't have her period?I'm sorry this is long its just she's only 12 and I don't want her to get pregnant.Please help!Any advice or ideas would help!!

first of all.. your friend shouldnt be having sex at the age of 12 anyways.. im 14 now and i havnt and dont plan on it for a while.. but to answer your question..

yes you can get pregnant even if you havent gotten your period.. to get ready to have your first period the egg will come ddown and sit to wait and be fertalized by the male when it doesnt get fertilized then it will come out and you will get your period.. this happenes every month. Also it doesnt matter that her mother got her period at the age of 15 its when your bodys ready to have it.. when its matured. she could get hers now if her body was ready.

if i were you i would try and talk your friend out of having sex because 1 she is way to young and 2 its dangerous as well.. it could cause internal bleeding viruses and deseases. also AIDs is passed through having sex. and neither you nor your friend know if her boyfriend has AIDs or not.

have her research some things online.. i dont mean porn sites. just look up some things about having sex that might make her not want to. or you could look up things and tell her.

if she still wants to have sex make sure her boyfriend wears a condom. also condoms dont work %100 of the time. there could be a rip in it that you cant see or it could break.

I cant stop thinking about my ex boyfriend we went out for about a month, and weve been friends since the beginning of the school year.. when he broke up with me I asked him why he said that he broke up with me because his friend likes me but then i was walkin with him in the hallway and his loserr friend came up to me and was like get over it he broke up with you and you know wat he never liked you in the first place and then i asked him if that was true and he said yes.... but he still talks to me and stuff and of course im not mad at him because were friends and we have been friends since the beginnin of the year, but for some crazy reason i keep wondering why he pretended to like me and why didnt he just tell me he never liked me instead of making me look retarded in front of everyone.. sry this was kind of long, please help

maybe he did like you alot and was just afraid to admit to his friends that he likes someone. there are alot of reasons that he could have said that. Guys are confusing and i reallt don`t know what to tell you with this. Maybe he thought that being that close of friends would ruin things if you got to close. or he just thought that you were only friends and didnt realize it till it was to late.

Okey, here's the thing. I can't sing.
No really, not that I don't sing GOOD, it's just that I sing...really bad. Like, really.
It sounds awful. Not that I think anyone would make fun of me..but still, I need to ask this question.
I've always been the shy quiete girl. And I don't want to be anymore. I want to be seen as a happy & loud person! So my class is doing this kareoke thing, and I want to be happy 6 up for anything 6 justa fun loving girl..but I can't sing!
So is there any fun or cool way of saying no to singing in front of the class? If I just say no everyones going to be all "c'mon, don't be like that.." not that they're gonna pressure me, but I'm going to feel like the boring girl who doesn't know how to have fun.
So can I say it in a fun way and turn this to my advantage?
Or atleast in a cool way so people will keep talking to me,. or atleats find me interesting??

my best friend and her ex boyfriend both have braces and no they didnt get stuck .. theres nothing for them to get stuck with. only the old braces got stuck but theyve made them so they wont. Plus your not rubbing your teeth together your using your lips. and if there making out there toungue would be in the way anyways ;]

well at my school there's going to be a dance. i have a dress already but not shoes. but anywayz i'm not sure if i should go. i mean like, i'm afraid it's going to be wack. and i KNOW no one is going to ask me, but should i go?

im not sure what to do about your shoe problem but i do think you should go.. even if you dont go with any guy you can always go with your friends =] its a semi. itll be fun.

my hair is like sooo curly and the curls start right at the scalp. usually i straighten my hair everyday, which is fine, but i want to do something else with it. my hair is about past my shoulders but a little longer. crimping also doesnt work for it. ive tried a millionnnn things. what can i do for it?

hmm.. you could straighten it and then curl it.. like loose curls not heavy ones. go through some teen magazines and they usually have hair styles in there and sometimes steps on how to do them. Also you could go to your hairdresser and get your hair perminently straightened.. its like a perm.. only not curling it. ive had it done.. its chemicals that make your hair stay straight and it doesnt harm your hair like the hair straightener does.

I think if you talk to him more, then yeah you`d probably have a chance. You said you don`t talk to him alot, so maybe if you start talking to him more then yes.

I was shaving my legs last night and I got to the back of my upper legs (between the back of my knee and my butt) and it hurt for some reason. It felt like a sore that you've scratched so much its like raw. Well it wasn't really hurting when I went to sleep but all today during school its hurt like when I sat at my desk and stuff and I don't even know what it is and it swelled up. It basically looks like a sore that you've scratched so much and now its in the form of a bump. But I've never scratched there or anything...

its just razor burn. it should go away in a day or two. your probably just not using enough shaving cream. and if your useing enough then try puting on lotion after you get out of the showerit should help keep the razor burn away and it makes your legs smoother and shineyer =]

i want to ask this boy to prom. however he has told other people that he does not go to school functions & isn't going to prom (he doesn't know i want to ask him though). should i still ask? i think it would be awfully embarassing if he said no & i would feel awkward around him after. however there is no one else to ask & this is very last minute (prom is may 13th) & i want to do it before this weekend ends. some people say it's wrong to do over the phone & it's better to do in person, others say it it's OK. so first of all do you think i should risk asking him? & also, is it bad to do over the phone because i won't see him this weekend? thanks!

I think you should ask him. The sooner you ask him the better. If you do do it over the phone it would probably be less embarrasing if he didnt want to go. No one would be around and only you 2 would know about it. Usually people tend to say its better to do it in person, but if you want to do it soona nd your not gonna see him you could use that as an excuse of calling him

I know a boy and i like him alot, he likes me to but he wont ask me out!! He knows i like him wich is surprising bcuz i ussually dont tell anyone when i like someone.. The most you can do is be there for him any time he needs a friend. Be his friend. Just for now until he can get up enough trust to ask you out. After being hurt it can take some time to get over it, and be able to move forward in realationships with someone. Just give him time. He`ll come around

Ok so I got my crushes phone number and hes my friend, i have been calling him alot and i mean like 5 times a day.. Well, to not annoy him you need to let him leave when he needs to. Also just be yourself. Try not calling him as much becuase he might think your kinda stalker..ish. Goin a few days without talking to him wouldnt be a bad idea. There isnt really anything you can DO to make anyone like you. You just have to be yourself around them and not to clingy. If your ALWAYS calling him and ALWAYS talking to him then he might get tired of you and not want to talk to you as much. A few times a week isnt bad.. just not a few times every day. =]

i've had this friend for a couple of years now, we're in different grades (i'm a grade higher than him) but we're good friends. well recently when we speak on MSN we've been playing "truth & dare" and talking really sexual and intimate with one another. i do enjoy it, but i'm starting to think it might make things weird between us from now on. also, i kinda have a boyfriend. well, we haven't met yet.. it's an online relationship, but he's coming to stay with me in november. i don't really consider us together until he comes here, but i still feel it's sorta disloyal and "Cheating" for me to act like this with another guy. My bf and I never discuss sexual stuff for the record.

should we stop doing this? is this going to make our friendship too awkward? and i can't tug the feeling that it's cheating somehow, and i feel incredibly guilty about this..

Well, it really all depends. Would you want your boyfriend to find out about it. Does he feel the same way you do. (about the not being together until you meet) Because, if he does think your together this might upset him. It is cheating if he asked you out and you said yes. (or the other way around). Just think to yourself. If he was doing this with other girls, would it bother you?

If your in a relationship, its a relationship. Just because you haven`t met yet doesn`t mean that your not in this relationship.

If you do like doing this maybe you should tell your boyfriend that you`d like to wait untill you meet to actually start going out. This way it wouldn`t be cheating.

Or if you`d want to stop because you think it will ruin your friendship talk to your friend about it. This might make your friendship akward depending on how shy the person is in person. Or you for that matter. He, or you, might feel uncomfortable talking normally in person because of some of the things you`ve been talking about.

So i guess to answer your question, is to ask yourself some questions

1. would your boyfriend be upset if he found out?
2. does he feel the same way you do?
3. would you be mad if he was doing the same things you were?

just answer thoes questions to yourself.

Most likely if you would be upset if he was doing what you are. Then I`d say stop what your doing with your friend. It is disloyal to your boyfriend.

Well, if he says he doensn`t know maybe hes just embarraced. You should confront him yourself asking him whats goin on and why his friends keep goin up to you. If he says he`s still not sure then tell him to tell his friends to back off. Or the next time they ask you be like yeah i do wanna go out with him. If your saying you dont know now maybe he just doesnt want to admit he likes you if he thinks hes gona be turned down.

Just keep talking to him. If hes still upset about his ex dont rush him into things.. he might think your too pushy and desparate to get him and he might not wanna go out with you anymore. After a while if he sees how much you really care and stuff he`ll probably want to go out with you. just be his friend for now. flirt like your doing or w.e it is that you guys do.

Well first of all. Does your friend know? If she doesn`t definetly tell her and talk to her about it. ask her if she has any problems with the fact that your going out with him.

If she does know and does have a problem with it. talk to her and tell her that she is one of your best friends and that you would never do anything to hurt her intentionally. If you really like him let her know. And tell her that if things dont work out with you guys.. you always have the 2nd best chance at gettin him..

Well if you like her and she likes you i`d say go for it. Try it out see how it goes. Just don`t let the relationship get in the way of all your friendships. There is this guy that I like and he likes me back, the emotional and physical attraction is really strong. theres a problem though, im 13 about 5'3 and hes a year younger but 4'10 or 4'11. while standing up even if i lean down i couldnt kiss him comfortably, is there a way i could kiss him without it being awkward? thanks

Both of you sit down. Like if you go to the movies have him sit up straight and if you slouch in the seat youll be able to lean over and kiss him more comfortably. or just in any place with any sort of sit down area =]
