Those students in New York State are required to take regents either in January or in June. If New York is one of the only states that has to take regents, then why don't they just do what other schools in other states are doing? (link)

...I have my very *first* job interview coming up! And since it's my first one, I am very nervous. :) I want the job mostly because I need to raise some money- but I know that's not the answer that the manager will want to hear. Any suggestions about what to do for the interview, other than dressing up? ;)

My friend asked me if I was goth, I didnt know what to tell her. . I mean goths dont usually go right out and yell IM GOTH! But she asked and I always tell the truth, I said ya. She said ew ur weird. . . She asked me this online, she hasnt seen me for weeks. . and I have maracuously changed, not because this lifestyle has become popular, but because I found it deep down in my heart. She got mad at me and everything .. she gave me a necklas and now she wants it back, she said she'd call the cops if i did anything to it, which i didnt and anyways its mine she gave it to me, is being gothic worth it, i rlly ant to be and i like being this. . but should I give up our friendsship and go gothic, or forget gothic and be ehr frined, I think I should forget her, but please tell me if Im right! Well basically I'm really out of shape. I don't play any sports i don't take dance classes or things like that. And i would like to stay in shape even though it's really hard for me. Does any body know any excersises that i could do over a couple of minutes to keep me in shape? (link)

Hmmm.... well, you can just jog in place for 5 minutes or so. Lift 5 pound weights while you are watching TV or waiting for something to load on the computer.

is she failing because she doesnt understand what she is being taught? if so, maybe you should offer to help her. if she just isn't doing the work, maybe she is having problems with her family, boyfriend, other friends, etc.

I am sure not all guys like the same qualities in a girl. Some guys are shallow and like a girl only because of how she looks, some like girls because of their personality, and for most (i'm assuming) its a combination of both.

There is this guy in one of my classes, and I'm not sure but I think hi MIGHT like me. he's on tha honor role but he's not a nerd. HE's actually kinda cute, but we've only really talked once. we were on a field trip and he just came over and started talking to me. Later I decide to eat lunch with him and he asked if I wanted his oreos. I know that sounds like a question a friend would ask but the way he said it was so sweet a kind (not like other people). So I'm confused. Does he like me or doesn't he. Kinda sounds like a question Shakspere would ask (to be or not to be? That is the question.)

If you don't want to take care of a tiny little rabbit, then you certainly aren't going to want to take care of a dog, which is a much greater responsibility.
You should suffer through having to take care of the rabbit to show your grandma that you are responsible enough to take care of a dog. I have the feeling that is the reason your grandma wants you to take care of the rabbit first.

All my best friend talks about is her computer! Me & my other friends will talk about what we did over the weekend, and "Ellie" will just talk about gigabites, megabites, and that sort of stuff. We don't understand that sorta stuff at all! How can we get her to talk about normal people stuff, like guys, parties, or even her pets?! (link)

Maybe guys, parties, or even her pets don't interest her all that much. You should tell her, though, that you really don't understand about the computer stuff she is always gabbing about and politely ask her to cut down on all the technical terms.
