My room is also pretty small. Basically, try to keep as little furniture and clutter possible. Try getting a light paint job or do something to accent the wall opposite of your door so it seems more pushed back. Hope i helped! :)

well these guys at my lunch table where saying something like oh no guy shaves down there.(i don't know how we got on the subject ) all four of the boys agreeded with each other. so are they right? like i thought they did since girls do. but i don't know.

When I shave my underarm I somtimes get these bumps and they hurt pretty bad! What are they? Use Venus for my razor and soap. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be doing something else? (link)

This could just mean you have sensitive skin. I have the same problem. If that is the case, make sure you're not pressing down too hard and you might want to try using a real shaving cream or gel. They help moisturize your skin while shaving and prevent cuts and do help with bumps :)

ok i'm 13 and i just got a straightener. i heard that if you use it too much your hair gets really dry and it's unhealthy...so for people that straighten your hair...how many times would be too much? like how many times could you straighten your hair in a week without it becoming unhealthy? thx! Alright. I use my hair straightener once a day, but not on all parts of my hair. Since i started using it, I've used a really good moisture shampoo and i use a heat glide cerum thats heat activated. If you do use your's everyday, only do the front and top layers. I personally havent noticed any difference but I'm really careful, my straightener is ceramic, and my hair is really thick. i have been bestfriends with this girl since the 8th grade, i am now in 11th, and when she was in 9th grade she went out with this guy.
when they broke up me and the guy started to become better friends. This year i would say we have become way better friends and of course i form a huge crush on him. i would say that it is safe that if i asked him to prom he would say yes. the only problem is the relationship between my bf and her ex. she wants them to be friends but he doesn't. She is one of my closest friends but i don't really wanna pass up this possible great relationship with this guy and if i asked him i rish officially ruining my relationship with my friend. what should i do before it is too late? I sat my best friend down and told her the truth, I explained to her that I had to be honest with her and I had a huge crush on her ex. Turns out she was totally supportive of me liking him and not mad at all!
So my answer would be:
Just tell her; that simple. If she approves great! Go ahead and ask him to the prom. If she doesn't approve youre going to have either respect her feelings and just axcept his friendship for now; or risk losing your best friend and take a chance at love.
Its really a descion that your heart and your heart only can make.

I'm 13 and a female last year i hit a swore at this kid because he called me fat.Well sence then i've been talking to tuckermen(the boy i hit)We have gotten closer but not like close close like a fun talk and stuff.Alot of stupid stuff happened(nothing inportant with other friends)I started crying.I hate crying infront of people .I know it not a sigh a weakness but it still uh i just dont like to.The teacher asked alot of questions and i always gave little information.Then tuckermen asked.I liked it.He cared.I went to class still blinking back my tears.He kept looking at me every 5 minites smileing.It cheered me up.I cant like him.I cant im 130 pounds and a pot belly.Ive never had a boyfriend.I know atleast when he called me fat that he didnt like me.I liked that he cared so much.I cant like him.

You can't just tell yourself you dont like someone. Whether its wrong, right, stupid, or practical, you obviously have feelings for this kid. Maybe you dont like him, but if you just try to make a decision without so much brain and a little more heart, it should be pretty obvious. Whether he likes you or not, he obviously cares about you, which is a good start. I don't really understand what you thinking you're overweight has to do with the problem, but maybe there's just something I'm not understanding. hopeihelped&+goodluck.

hii! well today for the first time i tried putting a tampon in..i think its tampax pearl or something like that..and im not sure if i should like wear pads still to school or try to keep using tampons..because it took me awhile to get it in..since it was my first time..but then im scared that i wont be able to put it in again in school..but tampons are sooo much nicer! also the only scary thing is my period is SOOO heavy..its unbelieveable and i cant use the super absorbant ones because my mom only bought the regular ones and then since i just started using then i dont wanna start withh the super ones..i wanna try and get use to them! i think it would be easier on me for gym class (because running and blood going all over..is not the greatest feeling (sorry sooo..gross haha) but..rather than using a pad im just scared that it will leak..since its super heavy and im using a regular tampax..and that if i have to change it during school..i willbe late to class and i wont be able to get it in..what do u think i should do?? because i like tampons alot..its like you dont even have your period! ahh im soo confused..any help?? suggestions?? what would u do?..thanks!! Hm. Naturally since it was your first time, it might take more time for you to get it in. It's better that it take you time than you put it in wrong which .. lets just say can get more complicated. As long as you change every three to four hours, you should be fine. Since you're just starting out, I recommend using an ultra-thin along with the tampon on your heavier days. Once you get more comfortable with the concept, the super would be fine. Ask your mom about the difficulties getting it out. That shouldnt happen. It might mean you dont have a heavy enough flow or just that you put it in wrong. Read any instructions on boxes and ask your mom or doctor. Hopethathelped && Goodluck!♥

okay, well i got this guy friend, we were pretty good friends but then I found out he was talking crap behind my back. i got pretty upset and didn't talk to him for about a month. Now we're cool and all but then i found out that he cuts, i got mad at him for doing that. Sometimes if I don't listen or if I'm just not in a good mood or don't agree with him on something, he will find something to cut his wrist on.
One time we were at the movies, and I didn't agree with him at one subject and he took a quarter and started to cut himself. He scares me when he cuts, especially in front of me. He even showed me his cuts he has on his arm that he cut as a "Z"
I want to talk to him about it, but he has mood swings and can get pretty ticked off easily.
Sorry for this advice thing to be long.

Eh. It's a sticky situation, but you basically just need to do what any parent, teacher, counselor, therapist, adult in general would say. You need to tell someone that can get him help. Tell him that aside from all the hissy fits, whether he's mad or not, you care about him. It might ruin your friendship but better that than his life. Tell him you hope you can still be friends after he gets what he needs, but more importantly, GET HIM what he needs! I have friends who have cut, do cut, and are in the process of quitting. My best friend used to until i threatened to tell her mom. It's going to be tough but you need to let someone know. Hope i helped &+ Goodluck!♥

so i am a female at age 13 going on 14. and about a month ago when i was working on a project with two guys(nerds). anyways he started asking why i had a mastache. and yes everyone has hair their but it shouldnt be noticable like this is? how do i get rid of this problem?

I would suggest either waxing or bleaching. Waxing may hurt but it can often be the best solution. PLEASE don't shave; it's left for the guys because we know better! Shaving facial hair causes so much irritation on sensitive feminine skin. Waxing strips are probably your best option unless you're not ready for that kind of sting. After you use them for a while though, you'll get used to them. Goodluck!♥

no matter how much sleep i get, i always seem to have bags under my eyes. i heard it once somewhere that allergies can affect this and i have allergies. does that really have anything to do with it? if you have any solution on how i can make them go away of any info about this please help me. thanks (link)

I guess its possible that allergies are part of it, i'm really not sure. To get rid of them, I would suggest using a foundation under your eye-cheekbone area. I have a friend who gets dark spots under her eyes that she has a special foundation for. I can't think of the brand but i know it's a liquid foundation and comes in a thin, lip-gloss shaped tube. Proactive face wash and Clearasil Ultra facial pads are both great ways to fight acne. They're deffinately stronger cleansers and can be more expensive; but from experience, they work. I've been going on and off with my boyfriend for over a year.. his birthday is coming up and he'll be turning 18. I don't want it to just be like all of his other birthdays, because he's turning 18, I would want it to be good! you know..? I've gotten him nice jeans and band shirts before .. soo haha.
- He's in a band, he plays guitar.
- Wears nice jeans, but band shirts.
- Listens to screamo music (HA! I know.. and I'm preppy lol)
- Likes XBOX .. doesnt have the new one though.
- Like movies .. but not going to the movie theater (haha IDK!)
I'm going to spend 100 dollars or alittle more.

okay so i talked to my crush a few days ago. and he says he doesnt know who i am. And i can kinda see that because we havent seen each other in about a year. But i was wondering. Even for a guy; forgetting someone you had feelings for in just a year is incredibly uncommon. If every moment was that memorable, I'd deff. suggest talking to him about how you feel. He might just be scared to admit that he still remembers you, because you might take it as he still likes you. If nothing happend when you found out he liked you the first time, he might be scared that his feelings willbe ignored again. Just try to be honest; hope i helped!♥

Make sure the picture is saved on your computer; then just open it on paint and go to image; stretch/skew. Type in a smaller size like 75, but make sure you put the same size in both boxes or the picture will get disoriented. Hope i helped.

I faced a similar situation earlier this year. I was really scared my mom would flip, but i casually brought it up with one of those "Oh yeah, I got detention on ... from .. to .., I'm really sorry but do you think you could give me a ride?" then went on to explain why I got it and changed the subject back to a more parentally friendly topic. There's really no way to get around it, so just be honest and tell her as soon as possible.

I think you should ignore the "in" thing. At our school we dont really have it but a lot of people definately do what you're doing. When you label people you basically disregard their personality. Clothes don't make you the same or different from anyone else, this year was the first year i really realized how stupid it is to put people into categories. Now i basically just do my own thing, it doesnt matter what those kids over there are doing. I recommend it.

some pairs are more expensive than others. usually you can get them on sale, i got mine for about thirty but there were some there more like 70. it depends on the style.
