Hey, I'm taking AP Biology next school year, and the book is $92.00 in my high school office. I've searched a little bit online, but I can't find a cheaper price anywhere. My sister buys her textbooks at http://www.half.com or http://www.ebay.com You could also check your bookstore or school to see if they have used ones. They're usually cheaper.

okay. so, i have this problem.. this is going to be kinda long but i really need help! i get REALLY embarrassed really easily. people could just look at me the wrong way and my face turns BRIGHT red! and it takes a while for it to go completely away (not like 10 minutes..but like 20 seconds) but when you are embarrassed it feels like FOREVER!! but the thing is, i don't know if this is normal or not, because of how extreme it is. i mean, i can't even look people in the eyes without turning red. i always feel that i am being judged, and i am so insecure! but i hate it so much, it holds me back soo much! i can't even be myself around anyone because of my face turning red. it makes me feel like such an idiot! i need help. like how can i stop it? do you think i have a problem where i would need to take medicine or something to make it go away!? because EVERYTHING embarrasses me! i even get embarrassed when i am talking on the phone and i say something and the other person laughs. even when people are laughing WITH me and not AT me i get embarrassed, so needless to say when people laugh AT me i am totally humiliated!! HELP!!!!!!!! (link)

I had this same problem. My friends used to make fun of me for it all the time which didn't help. But I learned to surround myself with people I knew that wouldn't judge me. Just find a group of people that accepts you. Also, when you know you're going to be going somewhere where you know you're going to have to talk alot to people, wear your favorite outfit. It's practically proven to make you feel more confident in yourself. You also probably need to lighten up and learn to laugh at yourself. You'll eventually grow out of this phase and I bet alot of people tell you that but it's true. Take it from me because I had the same problem and lived with it for 13 years. It'll go away. My aunt made this remedy a few summers ago because she works on a farm and gets bit up alot. It includes vinegar and bugspray. It doesn't smell the greatest but it's gaurenteed to keep the bugs away.

ok !i am having a really bad problem. well me and my boyfriend got into a serious arrgument today. he got mad at me cause he said that i was smiling at his friend. i am like omfg cant i even look at anyone.and on the bus today he broke up with me. then he called me and asked me if i would go back out with him. he apoligized and i said ok. well he called me and talked to me a while ago and i dont even think his sister likes me. so what should i do brake up with him or not? srry for this bein so long.

Obviously this boy has a problem with security, trust, and jealousy- 3 things that you should be able to control in a HEALTHY relationship. I would break up with him because you can't change a person, especially a guy. He has some issues he needs to work out before taking it a step farther with you. Hope I helped!

Well.. You should start slow, without tounge. And then when you're comfortable, you should start slightly touching the tip of your tounge against his. And if he responds, (by doing the same thing back), then keep doing it. Alternate by going quickly and then slowly or slowly then quickly. Make sure your lips aren't dry or it makes for a really bad kiss. If you want, you could put your hand on his face or on his shoulder or run your fingers through his hair. Hope I helped!

Recently, I've thought about trying to learn the guitar. I don't really know anything about guitars but I also play the clarinet. Does knowing how to read that kind of music help in reading guitar music? And is it really hard to learn it when first starting out? (link)

Go to www.tabcrawler.com They teach you how to read tabs and symbols. It's kinda hard learning rythms because tabs can't tell you how fast or slow to play. Also, you'll get your badge of honor when you're first starting out, your callouses on your fingers ;) Beware, they never really do go away.. Hope I helped.

I'm trying to learn how to play guitar, & I don't relly want to ahve to go get lessons, so I wanted to be self-taught, but I don't know any iste where I can learn how to play or know where to buy any books to learn how to play.
I don't know any chords or keys or anything, I am JUST starting so I'd need like the things what show you where to put your fingers & how to tune the guitar & stuff

Go to www.tabcrawler.com They teach you how to read and play tabs and they explain what pauses are, ect. They have tabs for some of my favorite songs and bands so they could probably help you out. It's free and that's how I taught myself how to play. Also, I would start out with an acoustic guitar. They're cheap. I got my first Fender acoustic for $150. You'll get comfortable with an acoustic and then warm up to an electric guitar. Acoustics are also not as loud as electrics so you won't drive your parents insane. Almost all of my friends who play guitar started out acoustic because it gives you a sense of, "Do I really wanna play guitar??" Hope I helped!!

Ok: so i love scary movies... spook houses, and doing the ouiji board. I live down in the basement all alone and after seeing freaky movies... like Saw I can't sleep. I think that there in my basement gonna come kill me.. and even though I'm 16... i still sleep with my t.v. on all night... even though I can't stand a speck of light in the night i LOVE watchinng scary movies... but i get so scared I sometimes cry! ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It's not really a big deal. It just means that it's harder to for this boy to concentrate and he gets sudden outbursts of hyperactivity. My exboyfriend had it, too and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Some people take medicine for it to control it a little (Ridilin). Hope I helped!

Talk to each other a couple times a week. Honestly, long distance can make a relationship BETTER. You talk to each other alot more and get to know each other's stengths and weaknesses. Make this experience fun. Try renting the same movie and watch it one night when you're apart and then you'll have something to talk about and relate to. Also, try to see eachother on the weekends or a couple times a month. You'll miss each other so much, you'll be counting down the days to see one another. The desire will make your relationship more spicy, too. ;) Hope I helped!

Wow. This couldn't be a more perfect question for me. I'm going through the same thing only I'm the girl being hit on so maybe I can help. First off, maybe you should take a look at the relationship you have with this girl. It might be hard to realize but maybe this girl still has feelings for her ex and that might be why she doesn't really come forward with him. Maybe she's not ready to move on. If you are SURE she's over him, then let just sit down and have a mature conversation with him by letting him know that you're uncomfortable with the way he's treating your girlfriend. Maybe he'll realize what he's doing is wrong and back off a little. If he doesn't stop, then maybe you're better off without the girl. You know, let them work things out before you get more involved. Three's a crowd and I'm sure you can do better. Hope I helped!
