From First to Last, Halifax, HIM, Rufio, CkY.

There's not too much out there right now because rock artists have gone so mainstream. Hope I helped a little.

The academy is..., The junior varsity, Ley royal scam, No use for a name, Plain white t's, Bedouin Soundclash (not rock, but they played at warped tour and they were awesome!), and The Lawrence arms. If you want to find these bands, most of them are on purevolume.com. Also on that website there is a section with the top ten unsigned bands. you would probably find a whole lot of awesome bands there. Hope i helped! GOOD LUCK

sleater-kinney and the dismemberment plan are excellent hard rock bands. if by tbs you mean taking back sunday, then try cursive or sunny day real estate, both emo-influenced bands who are kind of heavy.

NizzleIsntAWord answered Monday May 16 2005, 5:31 pm:
First of all, let me say that a lot of the bands that were mentioned aren't "undiscovered," in fact, Slayer, Metallica, and AC/DC are extremely popular, damn near legendary. Also, Sugarcult, My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, and a good bit of the others mentioned aren't "undiscovered" either. Most bands that aren't well heard of are your local garage bands, and you can just google local bands in your area. Also, stlpunk.com has some good local punk bands from Missouri, and also some nu-metal and rock bands. Purevolume is also a good place to find a lot of good bands that just aren't quite out there yet, and most bands on there have 2 or three song samples, some have even more. Try going to a local concert in your area, like at small places, that's usually where you'll find a lot of local bands that no one has heard of.

There's a ton at www.purevolume.com. If you don't know what that site is, it's for up-and-coming bands to post their music on, so just flip around it a bit. That's where I get all my music that no ones ever heard of. I reccommend Last Winter. :-)
