I don't know what to do. I'm a girl, btw.
This girl likes me.. a lot apparently. I'm a sophomore and she's still in middle school. We went out for a while but I broke up with her. I wasn't sure if I really liked her.
Now I'm opening up to people and getting closer to my friends.. which is good (instead of hiding in a shell, right?) I have always been shy so I decided to change things around.. I talked to some old guy friends. One of them.. actually talks to me on his own and whatnot. He seems to like my sense of humor and asks me about my day.
I think I might like him [I did before when we were in middle school, so he's not some weirdo] and I told him I might develop feelings for him in time.
But the girl says she's going to wait for me because she doesn't want ANYONE else.
I'm not sure what to say. I don't like hurting people. Because I'm really not ready for a relationship [with a girl I suppose]. And somehow.. I'm going to be a hypocrite for not wanting a relationship with her but with someone else. We are kinda like best friends and it's just hard..
I mean I'm almost 16 and I'm no longer looking for serious relationships anymore. It's nearly impossible to find. They lead to heartbreak x3254242. So I'm taking it easy and..I just want to date without it being really serious.
I don't know what to do.. I feel really guilty about liking people and wanting relationships with guys and not her. I don't know what to say [in a nice way] so she doesn't end up hating me. (link)

yep. what do i do? i sprained it i think at basketball practice, i was running and my foot fell like sideways and i kinda stepped on it, so its like.. the veins of my feet hurt or something. idk but when i walk i feel it and it also hurts when i touch it. i put some ice at it at bball practice but what do i do now so it can heal fast? or should i see a doctor? should i stretch it out? cause when i get pains i usually work them alot and most of the time they get better. or should i let it rest? i also have a bball game this saturday. should i play? or would it like.. swell.. I sprained my ankle last year in March and i have had problems ever since!! I didn't do anything straight away so that didn't help!! anyway by 3 days later my foot was purple and swallen!! i couldn't walk on it or touch it! i went to the doctors and got it x-rayed etc, there was no broken bones but i had torn ligaments and was put on crutches... The best thing is to icerlate it, and ice it even if you sit your foot in a bucket of ice!!! sleep with it up on another cushion or pillow... Bangage it so the swelling goes donw (if you have any) I have a swallen ankle all the time since i sprained mine and i have been to the pysio and stuff but i might have to have an operation soon!!! I erge you to seek medical assistance!

Maybe she wasn't ready for an actual boyfriend/ grilfriend realtionship... maybe she just wanted to be friends. Maybe she is annoyed by previous events of being friends with a guy then being asked out maybe she feel she just can't be friends with a guy! Maybe she doesn't believe you like her! I think you need to sit down adn talk to her, if not in person via text, over the interent or write her a letter!

My friend is really nice but sometimes.. what she does .. it makes me mad.
We would make plans and then she would say she could pick me up. So i get ready and I'm all happy, I wait for a couple of hours and she never comes. Then I talk to her sister to see what's up and she's unaware of these plans.

I feel that she is being really slack... I feel you wouldn't do this to her!! I am a believer of treat others how you would like to be treated!! I feel you need to sit down, if not face to face, o the phone or via text message or over the net!! Be open and tell her but don't come across as if you want to fight cause that could cause more problems than its worth!!! Also ask around see if she's only doing it to you or other people as well!!! If it's only you, i don't think she is too good of friend to you to let you down all the time!

okay so, my boyfriend and I have known each other for a little over a year now. [since freshmen year, now we're sophmores] we've been together since last october & we're going on 3 months, but our relationship, before it was official, started to develop over a year ago. I truly love him. he's on one of the sweetest guys I'll ever encounter in my life. We're both Christians, so we're saving our virginity for marriage. But we do other things...so far, we've only gone to 2nd base [touching under the clothes] and he feels really bad about doing it...i mean of course he loves it, he's a guy...but he feels so guilty like he's taking something away from me cuz we went to 2nd base together...i keep trying to tell him that i'm completely for it & that i love him, but he still feels terrible [yet he doesn't want to stop doing it either]...what should i tell him or say? cuz it's really starting to bother me...

We sat down and talked and i told him i was okay with it etc... I also made the next move to show him i wanted it!! I seriously erge you to talk to him honestly!! Four Whole years is a long time period to like someone... I am getting the thought that it hurt you! If i were you, i would sit down and talk to him... tell him how you fgeel and see what he sayd... keep in mind to state you still wanna be friends even if he doesn't like you in that way!!! Be open and be honest, you have nothing to lose!!! If he doesn't like you then i'm sorry sweetie but i think its time to move on... Break open the choclate, have a candle lit bath and a girlie sleep over....

ok, the other day i was speaking to my cousins mate online (him and my cousin are 13 im 14) and my cousin's mate (alex) he gave me some boys email address and said that he was in his class at school so i added him and he came online and said who is this blah blah blah...
anyway we got to talking and i said who i was nd that nd he said i think i know you send me a pic of you so we swapped pics etc. and i thought he was cute, but then i thought and i remembered he's like a year younger than me but i keep lookin at his pic and i just keep thinking "he is sooo cute" and it was right after he had seen my picture he was acting really nice.
But, he's a year younger than me, i dont really "know" him and im never guna meet him (he lives like half an hour away) but i think he's like really nice but all we'll ever do is talk on msn!!!
so, do i just keep on talking to him blah blah blah...or should i not talk 2 him as much bcoz i think that he more i talk 2 him, the more i might like him :S...i really dont know!!!

ummm... I think you should keep talking to him, you could become great friends, but keep in min you may not ever meet him... But just say you goto your cousins house, you might get to meet him... I don't think you should just stop talknig... It is probably good that you have someone you can talk to !!

Okay, this is long so be prepared. Let's call this guy Fred. He's in 11th grade and I'm in 9th. Obviously, I really like him. Heh so we met like at the second month of this school year? I really don't know how because I didn't know him and vice versa...but like one day out of random he hugged me at lunch saying "She's a cutie." to a friend that we both know. And after that, I was walking to lunch with my bff and the friend that we both know and Fred were like "Come stand in line with us." and I was like why? And his friend and Fred were like "Because you're pretty/beautiful." And my bff was like "He likkeeess you." btw, my bff is a guy that's gay. Anywhos, then after that he puts his arms around me [not possessivly but rather like cute-ly?] haha. Twice he almost got in trouble for it. Also, during one of the [strings] concerts, he was backstage waving at me frantically =P He also calls me a nickname he made me, cute, pretty, and beautiful a lot. He also gives me bear hugs and always gets up to stand with me when I go over to his lunch table. Last time he was like "You're tall for a girl." and I was like "Hmmm, I'm still shorter than most people." and he goes "I'm still short" [yet, he's still taller than me XD] I go "You're not short. You're taller than me." and then he goes "Well, I like tall girls. Do you like tall guys?" and I was like "Why not?" Haha anyways, do you think he likes me, or what? Tell me the truth. It's my 17th birthday coming up on 20th Jan, and i'm not sure what to do to "celebrate" it. Last year I had a limo party but that was because it was my "sweet sixteen", and i've had house parties, cinema parties and bowling parties before in the past, so i've kinda run out of ideas.
My friends say I should just go cinema again but there's nothing really on that I want to see.
And my boyfriend says that he'll take me out somewhere but he wants me to choose where and again I have no idea.

ummm... tough question...what about having a dress up at home party with a theme, like anything use the letter of their first name... say your name started with D you could dress up as a Dancer or deer anything...
Another idea is you could have a mocktail party... get everyone dressed up... suits and dresses and sit outside and drink mocktails (non-acholic cocktails) you can find heaps of recipes for them on the net!!!

Ok im starting year 10 this year and everyone i know already knows wat they want to do when they grow up. Everytime we have a conversation about jobs and careers i just sit there and pretend i dont exist. When i was younger i wanted to be a million things and now i have no idea what i want to do. I was thinking of being a doctor but i cant stand blood. I want to help people. I really love animals and its really horrible when i see them hurt so i thought of being a veterinarian but the whole blood thing again..2 of my aunties, my uncle, my cousins and my sister are teachers but i cant really see myself as one. Your not alone there is alot of people that don't know what they wanna be at the start of year 10. Keep in mind you have work experience and tafe excusions coming up this year, these things could help you out. You could also talk to your school career adviser they might be able to help you out! don't be too worried though!! Don't feel influenced to be something because all your family does that!! There are plenty of jobs to do with animals that doesn't include blood, like working for campaigns or welfare offices... there are plenty of jobs for helping people to from helping olderly people, to working as a councillor!! there is plenty of things do some research and talk to people!!

I have a friend, who I'll call Dan. Dan asked me out on a date over the summer and I said yes. I don't understand why he asked you to go out with him and then said that just because he asked you out doens't mean your going out, that seems a little confussing to me... anyway... the seeing each other might prove to be problem but you could always trial a a long distance relationship, or try and work around it... if your relationship is meant to be things will work out! I think you should talk to your sister in an open conversation maybe she sees or knows somehting you don't.. ask her why she doesn't like him etc... The hooknig up and going out with him, thats your decision and no-one can make your mind up for you... also people should respect your decisions, don't let anyone influence you!

15f. I met a guy at a party who I liked at the time and wanted to hook up with, and I didn't tell him, but he told me he doesn't hook up with girls because he doesn't want his parents to find out. mmm.... first kisses, someone taking your virginity etc.... are really hard to forget about and it takes a few months to move on.. i go to school with my ex, i was with him for 6 months but i got over him... i started hanging out with other guys, we didn't talk to each otehr after we broke up!!! I'm sure there are heaps of othr guys stick with them, stick with your friends and avoid your ex... there is nothing to say you can be friends with him.. but you gotta get rid of the feelngis there, its okay to have memories... everyone has there own methods of moving on... i just spend time with my chics play music, have a cry and then hold the strength to get out there and find other guys to be friends with and maybe even a boyfriend~
