i have my semi-formal dance and i have a dress but it is kinda loose on me in the front..... is there anyway i can make it tighter??? can i pin it without looking bad??

get a safety pin and pin it inside out so its not noticable. depending on how much time you have.. you might want to take it somewhere to get it fitted... or just get a relative//someone you know to sew it tighter at the seam... if its a dress you can wash at home then just put it in the dryer!

my good friend has been date raped twice and hasnt told her mom about it, her parents just wouldnt understand if she told them (they've tried to piosin her grandma to get her will)they are crazy. she also cuts and hasnt told her parents about it. she has only told a few people out side her family about this....somehow her cousin found out and he likes her alot! like inshest-sp. he has been trying to get her to do stuff w/ him. they are in this paly together and have to do this kiss sence.. when they were fixing to kiss her whispered in her her dont make me mad and shoved his tounge down her throat. he resently broke all of her left ribs and fractured her wrist just to get her to have sex w/ him.....what should i do to help her..i've already given her hotlines to call ..is there anything else i can do?

okay wow. thats bad. yes theres A LOT more you can do. dont leave it to her to do sumthing, she hasnt done anything bout it yet. so i doubt she'll actually do anything until she is seriously injured. you NEED to tell the police or someone like that. i know it wont be easy but its either that or your good friend will just keep getting hurt. her cutting isnt that bad, unless she goes deep enough to kill herself. right now your main worry is the cousin and past relationships she has had that ended up in rape... if you cant tell the police then try telling an adult you are very close to and trust. if your friends tells you NOT to tell anyone you need to ignore her. it doesnt matter how mad she gets at you... you need to make sure she doesnt get hurt anymore. thats YOUR job. if she is really your good friend then in a few weeks, or months, she will realize you were only helping you, and she wont be mad at you anymore.

look for clues such as, when your with him and your near the girl that turned him down does he act differently? if so then how? does he flirt with you as much?
think about this. if you really liked a guy, but had a boyfriend what would you do?.. so lets pretend you dumped your boyfriend to go out with the other guy you realy liked. only to realize the guy you wanted to be with doesnt like you... well would you go on and be single, or try to get back with your ex bf, that you still do like... maybe thats what happened to your bf... or sumthing kinda like that.

ok, this is going to be really embarasing. here i go: school has all sorts of idiots. u can get rid of them by cussing, punching, guestures, tattletalling. there is this one kid who wont stop bothering me. it started when he would stare really hard at me in sex ed. than he started whipping his head to look at me when the teacher talked about kissing and sex. a few weeks ago, he touched my ass, and he tries to everyday in the hallway and health class. if anyone finds out i will be so embaresed. if bf finds out, ill go insane, if he finds out i told on him, im dead. i didnt mind him looking at me that much.....but touching, squeezing, pinching, running hand down my ass is too much. i hate him, and he never even said a word to me. i really need help getting rid of him, please help me! that would be considered sexual harassment, you need to tell someone you really trust. once you tell them and he gets in trouble, itll be so much easier for you... its nothing to be embarassed about.
about your boyfriend. depending on how close you are to him should determine if u tell him or not. if you arnt that close then you dont really have to tell him whats goin on with that perve in ur school. but if you are close to him then you should tell him. close guy friends can help out a lot... more than they get credit for.

OK this might sound kind of weird but I'm really scared that I'm dying or something... Ok well when I started going out with my boyfriend (about 2 months ago), my mom told me that she didn't want me kissing him, but only hugging him and holding hands. She said that she didn't think that I was old enough to be in the type of relationship in which you kissed in. Well, I felt I was ready, and so when my boyfriend asked me on IM if he could kiss me the next day, I said it would be okay. Well, he kissed me (it was like a one second kiss on the lips), and I have kissed him about 7 or 8 times since then everyday at the end of school. I don't know what to tell my mom, because she will probably eventually find out about it. If I tell her, however, I'm afraid that she won't let me go to the movies, dances, etc. with him, because she won't trust us together. It just doesn't feel right not telling her. So what should I do?

dont lose your moms trust. thats the worst thing ever. once you lose her trust its hard to get it back, and you cant go anywhere until you do get it back. tell your mom the truth. if she gets mad then it'll be much better than you losing her trust. if she gets really really pissed tell her you couldnt keep it a secret cos 'its a big part of your life' and u wanted her involved. corney i know- but it works with most parents!

Okay, well I really liked this guy Chris. But then this guy Scott started to like me. I like my friend's brother and now that she knows, every little thing he does she always looks at me. It's weird. I want to get to know him better, but just because I talk to him I don't want her staring at me. Plus, how can I get to talk to him when he is in another conversation. I don't want him to think I'm rude and that I just join in on other people's conversations. It's really hard for me to get the chance to talk to him because the only time I really see him is on the bus, so thats my only opportunity to get to know him. well if she is your 'friend' then couldnt you go to her house and hangout with her and her bro? and while your on the bus include yourself into his conversations. dont take him and start talking to him and leaving everyone else that was talking out. just gradually start talking to him more and more until he stops talking to anyone but you.

Sometimes I feel like the guys our age are so immature. I can honestly say I'm not the prettiest girl in my school, but is that really all that counts nowadays? Some of the girls that the guys I know go out with are dimwits who can't tell the difference between 1 and 2 and still the guys fall for them because they have looks. in middle school and some of high school looks do matter to most of the guys. but when they mature up it'll be personality. and the dimwits dont have the best personalities, so dont worry. when the guys mature up they will be falling for the girls with some looks and great personalities! *and usually the girls with better grades have more privledges when it comes to dating, boi's and parental TRUST*

laugh them off. people have been spreading rumors around that im a slutty anorexic freak. and at first it bothered me and i got all mad, but the i realized thats what they want you to do. so if you want the rumors to stop you hafta be cool with it and laugh them off. dont let it show that they bother you. if you hafta cry then wait till you get to a somewhat private place. (i cried in the halls. didnt help at all) dont aviod them, but dont let them bother you. *avoiding rumors makes ppl think that they startes a REAL rumor, and that what they are saying is really true!* *dont let the rumors bother you*
