my good friend has been date raped twice and hasnt told her mom about it, her parents just wouldnt understand if she told them (they've tried to piosin her grandma to get her will)they are crazy. she also cuts and hasnt told her parents about it. she has only told a few people out side her family about this....somehow her cousin found out and he likes her alot! like inshest-sp. he has been trying to get her to do stuff w/ him. they are in this paly together and have to do this kiss sence.. when they were fixing to kiss her whispered in her her dont make me mad and shoved his tounge down her throat. he resently broke all of her left ribs and fractured her wrist just to get her to have sex w/ him.....what should i do to help her..i've already given her hotlines to call ..is there anything else i can do?

CaNtToUcHtHiS answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 10:25 pm: okay wow. thats bad. yes theres A LOT more you can do. dont leave it to her to do sumthing, she hasnt done anything bout it yet. so i doubt she'll actually do anything until she is seriously injured. you NEED to tell the police or someone like that. i know it wont be easy but its either that or your good friend will just keep getting hurt. her cutting isnt that bad, unless she goes deep enough to kill herself. right now your main worry is the cousin and past relationships she has had that ended up in rape... if you cant tell the police then try telling an adult you are very close to and trust. if your friends tells you NOT to tell anyone you need to ignore her. it doesnt matter how mad she gets at you... you need to make sure she doesnt get hurt anymore. thats YOUR job. if she is really your good friend then in a few weeks, or months, she will realize you were only helping you, and she wont be mad at you anymore.
