Every year just seems to get worse and worse, ever since 7th grade. That's when I started having problems with procrastination. Before that, it took me longer than normal to do work, too. I'd spend hours doing homework that would take others less than an hour. Now I'm 16 in 11th grade and this is the worst year yet. I am failing 6 out of 8 classes.. and I have so much make up work to do that I'm not even sure my teachers will accept but I have to do it anyways.. I don't know how I got myself in this situation. I had summer reading, but I put it off til last minute. My teacher said that only me and 1 other person in all of her classes didn't hand in a summer reading project. In 10th grade I had major issues like that until I moved to this new school, but now I'm just repeating those problems but at a worse scale. I feel mad at myself everyday cause I can only blame myself.. but I just wish people would take notice and try to help somehow.. thats the only thing that frustrates me though its pretty selfish I guess. my older sister has depression so my parents focus most of their time with her and im just afraid to tell people my problems because nobody really helps.. my parents and gudiance counselor just scold me and I just feel worse. I want to go to a good college and get a great job I know I can get because other than my laziness Im a very good student when I try. Its a bad combination, but I'm also a huge perfectionist. I guess its part of the reason it takes me so long to do homework. but when i really apply myself I get a lot of 100s. but the key to getting As is HARD WORK not BRAINS. and i dont feel very smart when im getting myself in this situation. every day its just worse and worse and i dont want to go to school but ive already skipped school 5 times this marking period trying to finish my work (which i could never focus to do on those days) and i cant miss anymore days of the semester unexcused or my parents could get in trouble. my parents were really pissed about it too. but each day i just get more hw added to the neverending pile of work. i have work from the beginning of the 1st marking period in most classes, thats how bad it is. why am i just letting this happen? because of this it really pissed off and let down my volleyball coaches, teachers, parents, etc. ive become really reserved and etc and thats not how i was last year when i first came to the school and got high As in everything. i just dont have any confidence when im doing so bad in school. like today in english class i couldnt even think of how to respond to a topic.. we had to write a personal narrative about how a secret has impacted our life. i spent over 1 hour trying to think of something.. but I just couldnt come up with anything. I asked my teacher for extra time at the end to finish, but he said he wont accept it because I wrote nothing, and he knows my previous record of not doing work. i went to the next class in tears. and i cant really get mad at him because im the one whos messing up, not him. dammit this is my junior year why cant i get a hold of myself? when i come home its almost impossible to not go on sites like yahooanswers, youtube, and forums to try and get rid of the pressure i felt from school. but then i end up going online for several hours and then im too tired for work and then the cycle of not getting work done just continues. the last time i actually completed homework at home was about 2 weeks ago. thats how bad my situation is. i was dropped down from 2 college classes and ugh everything is just horrible. im saying this here because i dont have anyone to talk to. ive never really had close friends in my life... the whole friendship thing is really foreign to me.. god it sounds so lame but its true. almost all the friends ive had in life have just been " school friends". and id be nice to them and try to invite people to things rarely (because the idea of inviting people for things seems awkward.. im not used to being a host at all) but i'd almost never get invited by them for stuff either. i didnt do halloween this year not because i didnt want to dress up and stuff, but because i had no one to hang out with or anything. I just feel so lonely.. and I dont get how everyone else seems to have even a few friends that are close to them. i dont know what ive done so wrong to not get friends cause im not ugly, super weird, or mean or anything. i dont need to be popular, i just want to feel close to someone you know? if i cant even get best friends then i guess it will be ages before i get a boyfriend too. not that i even feel ready for one.. because again, i dont feel confident w/ my failing grades (link)

Wow...you sound alot like me. I move around quite a bit because my father is in the military, so we have to go where ever the government need him. I started slacking off in middle school when I finally began to hate having to make brand new friends every other year. School didn't matter to me. The only fun part of school was gone (friends)and I din't want to put in the effort to start fresh.
Needless to say, my grades slipped and my mother became extremely concerned. She was certain that it was the teacher or something since I had never done poorly in anything ever before.
It was hard to get on top of things, but as soon as I made friends again, I was motivated. Homework sucked the most. Even now I despise the thought of working at school for about 8 hours only to bring work back to my house just so that I can work for another couple hours.
I found out that listening to music was a great way for me to focus, because I have a short attention span and if I'm not entertained in some way, I'll get off track. I just had to make sure it wasn't too loud or I started to get too into it :) Also, if I chew on something like gum or a snack, it's easier for me to concentrate on the task at hand.
I have to admit that I'm still pretty lazy though and if I know I'll pass a class even if I don't do the assignment, I tend not to do it :)

i don't know if I'm not ready for relationship but i tend to like so many guys at once but if one of them start liking me I ose interest just like that, and i always think about guys I'm gonna be missing out so I've been single for a while. Also, I think that if I go out with someone, I won't be able to flirt with other guys anymore and focus on one guy,but sometimes I wish I had someone but only for temporary, Why do I feel this way? Sounds like you dont want anything too serious, which is just fine. But you also want to have closeness at times as well, which is where things get a little complicated. I think what youre wanting is an open relationship. Its like having a boyfriend without having to be tied down to one person. You can date other people and flirt all you want and still have someone to go back to when you want.
Problem is that you need to find someone who is cool with this idea.

i am never good enough for myself. it doesnt matter what i do, ill always hate my body.
ive struggled with bulimia because i have always hated my body. my entire life has consisted of me never being happy no matter what weight i am. recently i lost about 15 pounds by exercise but i still hate my body. i look in the mirror and just see the things i hate, like my belly. i feel like the same person as before. like i said before, i struggle with bulimia, but i work hard at it. what i want to know is do you think im anorexic? i must say though im not skinny. and i feel like only skinny people can be anorexic and bulimic, so thats one of the main reasons ive never told anybody about it. i feel like if i told someone then they would think like "wow, you would think that she would be skinnier if she were bulimic."

It's true that how you feel is not totally unusual. Nor is how youre going about the problem, but it is not the way that you should go about it. It might be a good idea to get some counseling. They should be able to improve your self image and help you love all that makes you... well, YOU :) Also, giving yourself a pep talk in the mirror sound silly, but can really work. Try repeating one phrase over and over for a few minutes each day. Tell yourself that you are beautiful or that you are a great person that doesn't need to go to drastic measures to reach a body image that is unattainable.
Try different, healthier ways to lose weight but first MAKE SURE THAT IT IS NEEDED. There is such thing as losing to much weight. If you tell me your height and weight, I could tell you if youre at a normal level.

Well about the whole positions thing, well i dont really know wat positions i could do. cause i normaly masterbate at night when my family is asleep and i do it in my bedroom. i lay down and pretty much just like lift my legs up so they are bent sitting on the bed while i lay down. wat are some other positions that would help me achieve better and more intense orgasms? Okay, so you usually masterbate on your back so why don't you try laying on your stomach and grinding onto something? You know like pillow or a stuffed animal or something. Also, you can use certain objects to penetrate yourself. My best friend uses a vibrating razor that she doesnt use for shaving anymore. Just be sure its safe. No sharp edges! :)

I have never "squirted", as you put it, but Ive heard some girls do. A good way to know how turned on you are is how wet you are down there. The more wet you are, the more turned on you are. It's okay! It sounds to me like you just need to test the waters :) I'm sure he'll be totally understanding knowing the fact that youre new to it all. I am going into 9th grade, so is the boy i like.

I honestly think he is interested in you. If he is accusing you of flirting and telling you that he knows someone in the group likes him, I would take it as hints that he is interested in you. Okay what I'm wondering is this whole BMI, I input everything an it says I'm obese! I uset to weight 231 pounds at 16 an now I'm 17 an lost over 50 pounds! So happy about that! I now weight 183 an I'm 17 years old 6 months, my height is 5'5 an I'm an endomorph. So....is it right what the BMI is saying that I'm over weight? Youre still a little overweight, but dont lose hope! Depending on your frame( ya know how some people are "bigger boned"?). For a smaller framed person, you should be somewhere between 117-130 pounds. If you have a medium frame you should be close to 127-141 pounds and if you are larger framed, you should be somewhere between 137-155 pounds. Youve done really well. Seriously, youre doing great. Just keep up the good work :) If you check out my advice column, youll see some ideas for losing weight from a question asked earlier.

You should first ask yourself if the weight that youre at is healthy. This means you should compare your height to your weight. If you give me these numbers, I can give you the thumbs up or thumbs down on whether or not you should even be worried about dieting.
Now about only eating 700 calories a day. This is not only extremely bad for you, but also your body will begin to store even more fat. This is because you have just tricked your body into thinking that food supply is limited, so it believes it needs to keep some fat in case you need it later to survive. The average amount of calories you should be eating is 2000 for women or 2500 for men.
I would like to hear back from you to get the details on your condition. If not, Please do this for me and don't change how much youre eating but what you are eating. Make healthier food choices and try not to limit your calorie intake quite as much.

Okay, so youre actually not too bad for your height, but you have a little wiggle room before your dieting gets out of hand. At 5'1", you should be somewhere between 106 and 124 depending on your bone density. I dont think that you should aim for 106 though. It seems a tad bit drastic to me. Since you say you usually weigh 110, I believe that should be your goal for the time being. If your body is usually at that weight, its more than likely a healthier number for you to be aiming for.
Now, to lose body fat, it is best for you to focus on cardio exercise, which is activities that make your heart beat faster. Running is a simple, yet effective way of trimming down. It is good for a person to get atleast 30 minutes of some type of a workout done each day. BUT REMEMBER: A good diet accompanied with exercise will give you your best results. Dont skip meals just because youre afraid of gaining weight. Make the right/healthy food decisions.

19/f - I just got done working at a boy scout camp for 7 weeks. I went up and left behind a boyfriend who disrespects me, pressured me into everything I've done with him, talks down to me, and tries to keep me "barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen" for a lack of better terms. He doesn't encourage me to follow my dreams, and he had cheated on me with my best friend, months ago. While I was at camp, I met this amazing guy, Dennis, he's 10 years older than me, but he was the first person I've ever met that gave me the sort of attention, care, and respect that I've always wanted, but never knew existed. My female room mate talked me into believing that I deserve more. I made sure my boyfriend knew that I'm serious, and was ready to break up with him. but he promised me change (again). I told him that I'd give him until December to change. However; in a moment of rage, distress and depression, I fell to Dennis as a shoulder to cry on. One thing came to another, and I think I'm in love with him. But we're so different, I'm very religious, don't drink, smoke, etc. he's the polar opposite, he's been to prision, does weed, etc. He has MS, and I had to help him through some horrible symptoms of it, and it scared me to death. On the way home from camp, I got in a terrible accident. Dennis showed up at the hospital for me, while my boyfriend didn't. I just don't know what to do, Dennis is everything I had ever hoped for, and he said he'd give up anything for me, but I want children, and he knows he won't live past 50 with MS, and he'll be in a wheel chair, etc. I don't want to bring children into the world that are going to have to go through the same thing. Long term, it seems like nothing will be worth it. but I feel so bad, because so many women have left him and treated him badly because of his condition. I don't know what to do, on paper we shouldn't be compatable, but he's just everything I've ever wanted, I'm afraid of the future.

I think there is a time where you should think about the present and nothing else. If you believe Dennis will bring you happiness and joy, I see nothing wrong with being with him. Forget the age difference, forget the MS, and forget the ticking clock. Think about how happy you could make him. Do the pros make up for the cons? Whatever you end up doing ake sure it is a decision youve taken time to really think about.
Just remember, everyone has one fault or another. No matter who you settle down with, you'll have to sacrifice something. I'm trying to say that no relationship is perfect.

I am meant to go to university in october but i do not know my options in regard to this? I an 25 years 5'-8"ish weigh 192 pounds. I know i am overweight started mixing weight(body-with unilateral exercises and steel) training,would include running this week.
I have a swiss ball, dour mounted pull up bar, 15 pound medicine ball 15 pounds. hardly any space indoor space outdoor ground uneven but flat concrete 3ft apron that goes around the house.
I like pull ups and other basic techniques on the horse executed by gymnasts, they have total control of their limbs, i have willpower. What is your suggestion on including some basic forms and what equipment or simple things do i need to get or use.

For your specific proble, you are trying to get rid of extra body fat I'm guessing. The best way to get rid of body fat is cardio or aerobic workouts. This is because excess fat is calories that were eaten but never burned off, so the body stored it between the muscles and the skin. Workouts that get your heart rate up burns calories (or fat). The exercise does not have to be complex. It can be as simple as jogging. But if you get bored of the same routines like I do, I suggest that you look into these so you can mix it up:
* swimming
* line jumps
* lunges
* jumprope
* bicycling
* stair climbing
* rollerblading
* even dancing!

There is this new tool for hair removal and from what I hear, it is uch less expensive than laser treatment, although it may not give you the results you want. See, it is called the no no and it is completely painless. It also has great results, but it does not get rid of hair entirely. It reduces it by 94%. But I think you should look into it. Ok so me and my bf had sex yesterday two days before my period is supposed to come. He used a condom and after he came he took it out and went back in for like five more strokes. Wen he pulled out again the condom was broken. Does this mean that basically I'm most likely pregnant or can there be a possibility that I'm not? I also mentioned my period because I heard that right before and right after ur period are the teams when you are least likely to get pregnant even though I know its never 100% sure. (link)

Yes, there is a possiblity that you are pregnant. There is lesser percent chance because of your period coming, but I have to say the outlook would look much better if you had actually been on your period. The time when you would have been at your least fertile state would have been when you were 2-3 days into your period. And the fact that the condom broke means that it is more than likely that sperm came in contact with the vagina.
I greatly advise that you take a hpt to find out for sure.

There are two reason that I know of that you could have brown vaginal discharge. The first one is something that happens normally at the end of a women's period. Now the second one is what can sometimes happens in replacement to a period when a women is pregnant. I know youve been extremely lucky in the past, but maybe you should you should get a home pregnancy test and just make sure.
Thanks for your comment and yes. This is a pretty normal thing to happen after your period. It is just your body's way of getting rid of all extra blood, like a cleaning process. It is brown because blood turns that color once it is older.
But Ive done more research and I just want you to make sure this is the only thing that has been happening that is kinda different for you. If not, it could be one symtom of many that can be in many cases of STDs.
It would be best that you make an appointment with a doctor. I know this might be scary, but it could be the best descission for you. You might also want to do your own research to see what you could be dealing with. This site can start you off:
