this is me -
i'm erinn. i'm only fourteen, but i'll bet i've been through more than some forty-year-olds. i am a cheerleader for two teams [Hhs varsity, INDIANA ELITE] and i'm in three different choirs. [AAYC, freshman girl's chorus, and hhs showchoir.] i'm pretty busy in the summer. so therefore, my "friends" tend to forget i exist. in a month or so, i'll be a freshman at Highland High School, and i cannot wait. my favorite bands/singers are John Mayer, Ben Folds (Five), Cartel, Relient k, and Boys Like Girls. i like Hannah Montana and Oprah too.

So, theres this guy i really like that i work with and he finaly asked me for my aim and phone number and we've been talking (mostly on aim), anyway, recently he asked me if i wanted to hang out with him, the first time we went to the movies, and the second time we went downtown to these shops he wanted to show me... anyway, tomorow him and i are hanging out with some of his friends. how do i know if hes actually interested in dating me or just being friends without asking him? please help!

If I were you, I'd count tomorrow as a third date. It sounds to me like he is interested in dating you, because he's introducing you to his friends, which is a big step for guys. If his friends get along with you, he'll probably want to step things up. Guys are weird that way, some feel like they need their friends' approval to date a girl.

im 17/f my boyfriend is 18. weve been together for about 6 months but have wanted each other for almost a year. he has a very flirty personality but since he has been with me he's toned down some, i thought. i went on his myspace tonight [i know i know, shame on me, i shouldnt have done that, but i did, it was the first time] and i found messages he's been sending this girl sayin hey sexy n he wishes he woulda had a chance to go out with her [apparently she moved] and that he woulda made her the happiest girl in the world and i love you and all this shit. what the hell am i supposed to do now? we've had some probs lately but i thought we were trying to work through them, he talks like im the only one he wants and im the best thing he's ever had. i cant exactly break up with him without expressing what ive learned but on the other hand i cant tell him i went on his myspace and read the messages. i feel so hurt right now i dont even know what to do and i need some help!

Just ask him, straight up, why he talks to the girl. Honestly, if you don't want him to know you were on his myspace, you shouldn't have gone on it in the first place. If it is really bothering you that much, just tell him that you know he talks to her. If he does ask how you knew or who told you, say someone mentioned it. Your conscience might kick in and you'll feel guilty for getting on his myspace. However, it'll be worth it in the end when you find out what's up with them.

My best friend is always saying how she makes out her female friends all the time, but ive never kissed her before, for some reason i really want to, and like i dont know how i can get her to kiss me without asking and getting rejected, i really want to try making out girls, like wed jokingly just pecked eachother on the mouth to tease someone but like when that happens i get an urge to makeout with her. If she says she makes out with her friends all the time, then she shouldn't have a problem kissing you. She might though, because you two are best friends, and it might make things a little bit awkward. But just tell her you're curious, and you want to know what it feels like. Then, if she's cool with it, just act like she's a guy. Haha honestly, it's the same, except girls are a bit more sensitive, and they'll usually know what other girls like in a kiss, because they've been there. (Speaking from experience, yes. haha)

But if she's not comfortable kissing you, ask one of her friends that she's made out with if they mind it. It's okay to experiment honey.

On the main Facebook page, click account [top right-hand corner, next to home], then Notifications, then check On or Off to whatever you don't want them to send you. Don't forget to click Save Changes at the bottom.

anyway, it says like music>playlists>music videos (and its blank) i didnt think that you could download music videos on my ipod until i saw that, so i figured i could (because why would there be a music videos spot if it cant have music videos?) So i bought a music video and it is says i purchased it but its still blank under music videos...and yes i unplugged and replugged my ipod and synced it a bunch...please help!!!


according to your picture, you have the first generation Nano, which can't support video's. second generation, which is the colored nano's, can't either. however, the third generation, the newest ones, can.

your ipod can only hold music, audiobooks, ect., but no movies, music videos, tv shows, you know.

15/f. I pierced three holes on both my ears (2 on the right, 1 left) by myself. When I did it, there were NO infections on either of the holes. My question is...if I pierced my ears without getting an infection, would piercing the cartilage work the same? Is there anyone that did it themselves?

i pierced my industrial by myself, and it didn't get infected because i bought a bottle of Ear Care Antiseptic from Claire's.. and i cleaned it every night, kept the long bar in my ear for like 4 months, then i changed the bar.

so if you do pierce any of your cartilage yourself, the main thing is to keep it clean, keep the stud/bar/whatever in for a few months, and try not to get hit in the ear because it might rip the piercing out, which will not only hurt like hell but be a waste of time (:

it's not true that you'll grow taller, but doing different aerobic exercises like the splits will improve your posture and make your back muscles stronger, which makes you LOOK taller.

okay so i started and had a full period around sept 13 and ended the 18th and i just now restarted on the 30th but it was not like period fluid it was light pink and mucous like and did not flow it was just when i wiped, is this spotting and any possibility I could be pregnant??? thanks



if you're not sexually active, there's no way you're pregnant. but if you are, than you might be.. but i'd get tested just in case. it also might be a STD or infection of some sort, if it's not a heavey flow then it can't be a period. and spotting is when you bleed, like true red blood, but it's not a constant flow. so that's not it. so i'd say go to your gynocologist to see if it's an infection.

don't worry about them, your breasts or your bf's friends.
if he doesn't tell his friends to stop makign fun of you, he's not worth it.
and don't be self consious.
it doesn't matter if they're huge or tiny.
if your boyfriend really likes you, he'll look past the physical things and see how you are on the inside.
if it really bothers you that they're so small, you can try to get a water bra or inserts that make them look bigger.
if you're short, then you might not have hit your growth spurt. once you get taller, they'll grow, trust me.

Hi my bestfriend smokes all the time, and sometimes drinks I think, well use to, but she smokes almost everyday, and probably 5 or more a day, and she's done it for a while.
I'm so scared for her, cause I know she's gonna have health problems in the future..but do you think something might happen soon since she smokes so much and so many a day..she's only 14. and I want to tell someone but I think her grandparents let her! and when she's with her mom, she sneaks when shes with her.

What do you think I should do?

you definately need to tell someone as soon as you can.
a girl that went to middle school with me last year died of lung cancer a few weeks ago, she was only 15. she'd been smoking for less than a year, but she'd been exposed to secondhand smoke all of her life.
if you don't tell anyone, and let her keep smoking, you're basically digging her grave for her. i'm sorry if it sounds rude, but it's true.
the best way to show her you're concerned is to talk to her about it. if she won't talk, tell your school counselor, a teacher, or your parents. they can get help for her.

So last year I met this boy. And I thought he was hot. But we weren't friends. But then as the year went on me and him became friends but he always had a g/f well he liked me and I liked him and during the summer we would talk all the time. And he was going to ask me out but then got to scared. Well I stopped taking to him for about a month. Then on the first day back to school he was like really happy to see me and same for me to see him. And well he expected that i'd go out with him in a blink of an eye. But I said no. So then he ended up going out with one of my new friends which pissed me off. after they broke up he still tried and go out with me but I still really like one of my friends so I wont go out with anyone because i'd dump anyone for him. well my friend came to be like IN LOVE with me and all this shit and i wouldnt go out with him cuz i stil like my friend and i sorta lost feelings for my other friend over the time that we didnt talk. plus him going out with my friend ruined alot. but i'm scared that if he gets a g/f...i have a feeling that i'll be jealous...i don't know if i still like him or whats going on :l

this boy sounds like bad news.
if he's had you dangling on a string for this long, then don't go for it.
it sounds like he's been going out with other girls just because you won't go out with him. if you did go out with him, then he would probably end up breakng up with you for another girl, which would hurt even worse. if you lost feelings for this friend when you didn't talk to him, then it's probably for the best. if you were meant to be with this boy, then you never would've lost your feelings. if he's supposedly liked you for this long, i'll bet he's just trying to get with you. he wouldn't go out with that many other girls if he really truly liked you. so the best thing for you to do is move on. go for your new friend that you like.

i would definately say go out with Lisa.
you say she's the only person you can laugh with, and that's very good. happiness is the key to a good relationsip :) if denise brags a lot now, when you're just talking to her, just imagine how much more she'll brag if you're going out with her and talk to her more because you're with her. so i would go ahead and talk to Lisa more, because she sounds promising.

I've had sex with 6 guys & all of them were virgins, except for one, but he doesn't have an STD.

So am I more likely to have an STD or not?


the only way to get an STD sexually is through a partner that already had the STD. you can have sex with 50 guys, and if they're all virgins, then you can't have an STD.
so it's very unlikely that you have an STD, but the guy who wasn't a virgin might've lied to you about his STD. so i'd get tested JUST to make sure.
