What should you do when you have a sprained wrist? How do you get the swelling down & how long should you not move it & stuff? Any other advice that is helpful. . .
well, use ice 20 mins on, 20 mins off and wear a brace (just one of those soft fore-arm splints) dont worry, they dont hurt or restrict movement hope i helped

theyre called imaginary numbers, like the square root of -1, or if you're doing multi-step equations, when your final answer is uneven, you say untrue statement, no solution

14/f & im a freshman this year - my question is do the uperclassmen [guys] even like look at the freshman? do they think we're like little and dorky and stupid? because wow alot of the upperclassmen are gorgeous, and i wanna like approach them and stuff in my classes but i don't wanna look dumb

not sure why you're asking me, but it all depends, sum of them are in your league, others arent... you'll have to get to know them to find out their personality, because if theyre shallow enough that they'll only go out with people in their grade and upperclassmen, but when you approach them, act natural, and if they think you're dorky, oh well, big whoop, nobody will care, if it doesnt work out you still have the other freshmen right?

Okay, My name is melissa, and i'm fifteen. Theres this guy at my school who keeps calling me fat. He says that i'm obese and that i should just stop eating!!! The problem is, that i'm 5,4 and i'm 105 pounds. I dont think that's fat, and all my friends say i'm stick thin....but, i dont know. If he calls me that, do other people think that? And...if not, how do i get him to stop?

My mom is friend's with this lady [40] who is gay. You wouldn't think she was but she told me. ok heres the deal, My mom and 2 others helped a woman she works with, with the after funneral thing for her son who died in a car crash. As a gift this woman gave each of the 3(my mom and 2 others) a gift card to a restraunt. Well we go to use the gift card and there is no history on it and it hasnt been activeated.( we had another gift card, too that we used). My family wants to know if you would confront the woman who spent Maybe a good deal of money on it.(i assume anywhere between $25 and $100). Should she be told that it wasnt activated like the person who did it was wrong and hopefully she has a reciept, or do we not mention it. How would you tell her that her gift was worth $0?
Well sorry to say this but thats one of the cheapest things ive ever heard, give the woman a break, i mean ur mom probably wasnt expecting a gift card in the first place... the world wont end if u just say the restaraunt was lovely, thankyou so much for the gift card, i mean seriously her son just died and out of the kindness of her heart she gave out gifts of thanks to the people who helped, let her feel that something went right, so to answer the first part, i would not confront her unless i wanted to upset her and complicate her life even more

Recently I was given a box of sweet potatoes from a friends garden. Does anyone have any recipes ideas for dishes I could prepare to use them. NO SWEET POTATOE CASSEROLE RECIPES PLEASE! Also, any recipes that could be prepared and frozen for later would be a big help.

Grilled Sweet Potato S'mores Pies
- sounds gross but tastes great!
1 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecan pieces
2 tablespoons Bourbon whiskey or dark rum
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 large egg
6 (6-inch) pie crusts, recipe follows
3 chocolate bars
1 cup mini-marshmallows
2 tablespoons softened butter
Preheat a gas or charcoal grill.
Place the sweet potatoes on the grill and cook, turning often, until the sweet potatoes are soft and yield when gently squeezed, about 30 to 45 minutes. Remove from the grill and allow to cool before handling.
Scoop the sweet potato flesh into a mixing bowl and discard the skins. With a potato masher or heavy fork, mash the potatoes with the cream, then add the brown sugar, pecans, Bourbon, cinnamon, nutmeg and egg, mixing well. Divide the mixture into 6 portions.
Place 1 pie crust on a flat work surface and place one portion of the sweet potato mixture in the middle. Top the sweet potato filling with half of a chocolate bar and 2 tablespoons marshmallows, then fold one half of the crust over the filling. Crimp the edges of the pie crust and turn over to seal well. Repeat with the remaining crusts and fillings.
Gently rub about 1 teaspoon butter on both sides of the pies and place in aluminum foil. Place the filled pies on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Unwrap the pies and return to the grill to brown on both sides, being careful that the crusts do not burn, about 2 minutes per side.
Serve immediately.
Basic Sweet Pie Crust:
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 cup solid vegetable shortening
3 to 4 tablespoons ice water
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. Add the shortening and work it in with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the water to the flour mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, and work it in with your fingers, adding only as much as needed to form a smooth ball of dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and allow to rest in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and place on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 6 small disks. Roll each piece of dough out on the floured surface into a circle about 6 inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick. Fill and proceed as directed in the recipe.

Well honestly, you should never have lied about it, you should have said it was unexpected, i didnt ask/want him to he just did and i hope in my heart you can forgive me...but its too late for that, if he's really worth dating he would understand if you still told him that now, but you would have to add stuff about apologizing for lying to him, and that you were scared that he would leave you and you really dont want that to happen
P.S.- making up with your friend would help, that way not only would you be friends again, but she might also consider not showing him the picture

well anything by gregory maguire is hard to put down, i mean its nothing like go ask alice, its kind of a fantasy but its like less fantastic and farfetched if you know what i mean, he wrote wicked (bestseller) its like wizard of oz as told by the wicked witch but not a kids book like wizard of oz is, plus he wrote a bunch of other good books... i dont know if you're into like mysteries and horror but if u are, read any stephen king book
