Is it illegal to take someone else's medicine that was prescribed to them?

Possession of a controlled substance. Technically theft. Minor Intoxication. Maybe public intoxication too, if you're anywhere but your own home. Depending on your local and state penal codes, maybe more, but that's three or four laws you'd definitely break in every state in the union. ]
Yes. Very illegal. ]
im not sure if its illegal but its not healthy. ]
yes. ]
Yeah it is illegal, thats just like someone giving regular drugs to you, because it is something that COULD HARM YOU. Worse than being illegal, it is very dangerous to take someone else's perscription pills. If you are asking for you, please reconsider it but if you aren't and just wondering, yes it is illegal hahah:-) ]
yes, it is deep trouble and if you are 18 you would go to jail so... i would have to say stop taking them even if it feels good it is not worth it... ]
Yes it sure is. Meds are prescribed in different doses for different people depending on their particular problem. What may be perfectly harmless for one person to take may make another very sick or even kill them. Not a good idea. :) ]
It is illegal. Perhaps more importantly, though, it could be dangerous for you. The other person's prescription was put together especially for them. The dosage was put together according to their height and weight, to their medical history and needs. If you (for example) took a friend's medicine, it may not even be appropriate to what your condition is. You may have an adverse reaction to it that, because you haven't seen a doctor beforehand who knows *your* history and *your* condition, may have disastrous consequences.
Good luck and be careful,

yes it is...hope that helps ]
Yes, it most definately is. That's why in school, if you use someone else's inhaler or any kind of pills you can be charged and put in jail or fined. ]
Not really? Haven't you ever taken a pain killer that was prescribed for one of your parents? It can definitely be dangerous though. But to take prescription medication that does not belong to you might be viewed as theft?? ]
Yea you can get in trouble for it.. ♥ Dez ]
