You should try shaving down instead of up towards you. Also, use cold water (hot water opens your pores) and LOTS of shaving cream, like Skintimate. When you finish, use body lotion to keep from getting dry.

You can start having unprotected sex safe from pregnancy after 2 months of birth control, so you are safe now. I'd recommend that you both get checked because oral sex can also transmit STDS.

I have been with my boyfriend for a year but we have been sexually active for three months. He broke my virginity. And he takes care of me so I won't have to work and quit school. You may love your boyfriend, but you should not listen to your heart this time and listen to your head! If he wants you to get with his friends, it sounds like shady and like he could be using you. Guys are really shallow, and they basically think with their 2nd head most of the time.

Also, if you don't want to partake in sex with him at all, you dont have to! Just because you have done it once, doesn't mean you have to do it all the time or ever again for that matter. If you want to continue having sex with him, tell him to be less agressive and you like it slow. If he is really in love with you, he will listen.

Nope. You basically can buy condoms at 10 if you had the money to pay for them. The only thing that may happen is a dirty look from the cashier. Safe sex doesn't have an age limit.

Have you had a proper sex education? There are other options then unprotected sex, and you can do it without your parents knowing. Go to Planned Parenthood, decide if you want to keep the child, raise it, or give it up for adoption. You can also talk to someone about other options once you have the baby or choose to terminate your pregnancy. You can get free condoms and go on the birth control pill.

Google STDs, teen pregancy, and controceptives. This should help you learn to practice safer sex.

I'm going to get tested for STIs/STDs with my boyfriend. He's my first sexual partner, so if I have anything it would be from him. He has been sexually active for several years though, and about 4 years ago he had unprotected sex with 2 successive girlfriends, who he thinks may have been quite promiscuous.
So, there's a chance he could have something that hasn't shown up yet, i.e. HIV (I heard it can take up to 10 years to show).
If he has HIV and has passed it to me, I'd really rather not know as I think it would be the end of our relationship, and he is my absoloute soulmate.
So, my question is, if we both have HIV does it matter if we sleep together - it won't make it any worse surely?

STD's and STI's are a big issue. If he has HIV and has passed it to you, that is a problem, and you are aware of it.

If both of you, in fact, do have the virus, you can continue having unprotected sex. There is no way to get worse by having sex. The only way it gets worse is if it goes untreated.

I am pretty positive you wont get pregnant. The pill 99.9% effective. It would be less effective if it did not work while you were on your period, it just doesn't make sense. To be totally sure, I would go to your gyno and ask her/him about it, since they are the experts.

Whenever you are emotionally ready. There's no set time to have sex, its just when you are comfortable enough with the person and ready to move into a more serious sexual aspect of the relationship. A person must also be willing to face all the aspects that come with having sex: pregnancy, STDS, etc. Sex can also change a relationship. Do what you feel comfortable with and ready for.

1) Sign 1 - Missed period. You're later then usual and you've def been having sex, especially unprotected sex.
Sign 2 - Dizzyness, being tierd, fatigue. Any one of these symptoms could be part of pregancy.
Sign 3 - Nausea/vomitting (especially in the AM).
Sign 4 - Breast tenderness. THis could be a sign of your period though also a lot of girls experience this right before their period, especially if the girl has a heavy caffene intake.
Sign 5 - You pee a lot more then usual.
2) Yes, you can. Planned parenthood or a local clinic will do this. It will cost money but you can do it without your parents. As long as you have the money.

NOTE: just because you may be experiencing one or more of these symptoms doesnt mean you are pregnant!!! if these symptoms continue, a home pregnancy test is the only way to answer your questions.

Just because you are dizzy sometimes doesnt mean you are pregnant. You may just be in need of a drink of water or something to eat. If you have put urself at risk by having unprotected sex, the only sure fire way to know your pregnant is to see a doctor. If you are ashamed, try a home pregnancy kid. It means cuming inside the girl. Its like 99.9999999999% if you use a condom and pull out, its probably safest. Birth Control is only effective if you keep track of your pills - never skip or miss a pill and make sure they are taken at about the same time each day.

ok this is kinda weird and i didnt kno it could happen...my friend told me he got little bumps on his penis, like pimples and he said he could pop them. there is kinda a lot but only some he can pop....it isnt herpes or warts bc u can only see them when he gets an erection....he is sexually active and is concered so he asked me....i told him i would find out but i have no idea...can someone help please!!!

That could be an STD. It could be anything from herpes, HPV, syphilis, gonherrea, or chlymida. Or it could just be an allergic reaction to something he's beeing wearing. A new laundry detergent or silk boxers or something. He needs to go get tested ASAP. If STDs are left untreated they can cause permanant damage and even death. He also could be spreading it to others which is a big no no.

Do not shave with just water! Your pubic area will become all red, splotchy, and infected. Those red bumps are ingrown hairs. They hurt and then they itch. Use lots of shaving cream and cold water to prevent them. Shave only when the hair is getting longer unless its nessicary. Go slow and take your time, cuts hurt.

Shave in the shower, using only COLD water. Hot water opens the pores and makes bumps come more often. Use lots of shaving cream. Sentitive skin kind if you have any. Shave up not down. Go slow and take your time. After, rinse with COLD WATER. Then dry off after shower and apply lotion for sensitive skin.
This will reduce the number of bumps.

Seriously, I don't know too many sex postions, but I do know the 3 most popular and a bit about them.
1) Missionary - Girl is on bottom guy on top. As basic as sex gets. If you're a virgin, missionary is probably what I would stick too. It's easiest and most comforatble for the first time
2) Woman on top - Exactly what it says. This is more work for the girl, but girls say it gives them more pleasure (aka better orgasms)
3) Doggy Style - Guy goes at girl from behind. He doesnt enter her anally, just comes from the back. It's like how dogs do it. Guys love this for some reason.
Another oral sex position is 69. Its where you lay one way and a guy lays the other. a girl would give head while the guy ate the girl out. I don't know if that really classifies.

i had a question. besides the risk of stds and pregnancy why are adults so against teen sex? like parents make a huge deal out of it and i dont see why if you use male/ female condoms and are on birth control. i mean there is always still of risk of those things but they arent the end of the world.

Parents are afraid of their children growing up. Having sex is a sign of them getting older and getting more independant. They cant seem to grasp the concept that you're an ADULT and you're doing ADULT things. It's hard for them to come to terms with the fact you may be having sex because then they will have to come to terms with you eventually leaving home, getting married, and whatever else. It's just a big shocker for them and I guess we as kids just cant understand what they are going through until we have kids of our own.

Well, most guys do prefer this. Some guys dont care, and some like it unshaven, but from personal experience, guys prefer shaven girls. When shaving, use lotsa shaving cream (try a sensitive skin kind) and use cold water when shaving. By using hot water, your opening your pores and its causing the razor burn. Don't shave unless you need to also. If it hurts, stop and finish next shower. Eventually, you'll get the hang of it and it wont hurt anymore.

Sweetie, you cant hide this from him forever. Unless you plan on not keeping the baby. You should just sit him down and tell him. It was both of your decisions not to use birth control, now you both have to deal with the consequences. He helped make that baby, you couldn't have done it on your own.
