One day, lets just say "Bob", he wrote me a note saying 'hey, and somehow we got into a sexual conversation. He was asking me ?'s such as, who did you make out with and did you ever give head? Later that week, we started talking online alot. We started liking each other. While all this happening, he had a long term girlfriend, although they broke up about 9 or 10 times. They broke up about 2 weeks ago, and have stayed broken up. I talked to a few people and they said that he might be trying to get a fast fuck. They said this because it was a little weird that he just now started talking to me. Before this we never spoke. Do you think that he is being truthful or is he trying to use me? Ugh, my huge winter dance is in a few weeks (about 3) and I asked this kid i dont know too well but i mean i talk to him everyday jus sayin Hi or somethin. well, I asked him at 10:57 and then he didnt answer. then at 11:23 i asked if he was there nd he didnt answer (this is all online) then an hour later i saw he went away and then came back. so i IMed him nd asked if he saw what i said. here was the convo when he came back

There's this girl who I have been best friends with since kindergarden and now im in 7th grade. She is really gross and picks at her nails when she's bored. She eats lunch with me this year and it's so annoying because she's really CLINGY!!! She takes Ritalin which doesn't make you hungry, so the whole time during lunch she sits there and picks at her disgusting 2 inch long nails! She like makes me sit next to her, and when I get up to go to the bathroom or buy something she comes with me. She's nice and all but CLINGY!! I'm going on a cruise with her family in April for her Bat Mitzvah so...i can't stop being friends with her...its booked already!!! i don't know what to do! I'm like her only friend, and i am not being a good friend to her at ALL!!! I thought that ignoring her would make her realize that she is being clingy, but NO! Ok, so i have this friend named *ang* and she was my friend the whole sumer. I was either talk to her on the phone, she was over, i was over her house, or she was at the pool with me. Ok so when school came, this friendship went down, she turned into a wana be popular girl, anging out with them, and turned into a backstabber. We still stayed friends. So i decided to take dance with *ang* and she was so happy and so was I! So tonight is our dance recitle, and she hates me. well it's a little lengthy but here it goes.
I ahve this friend we'll call Hannah and were really close. we have a lot of the same interests and stuff but now she's being very mean to me. I have this other friend who we'll call Michelle and shes a year younger ( 7th grade) and i think Hannah is jealous. she says i always ditch her for Michelle, but i really dont. i just have prior plans. im really torn by what to do because hannah said sum very hurtful things. and Michelle isnt a mean person shes very ncie and has never sed anything mean to Hannah. I have this really annoying neighbour that lives in my appartment complex.
I feel that she is just trying to use me. This is what happened. I ran into her when I went to check my mail. She asked me if I knew anyone who would want her budgie(a bird in a cage). I said I couldnt think of anyone and that she should put an add in the paper. She told me that would be too expensive. Then she asked me if I could give her and her bird a ride to the SPCA. She doesnt have a car. I really didnt want to and told her it would have to be another day. She told me she would try another person who had a car.
Well she just knocked on my door. She said she couldnt get a hold of this other person and needed a ride tomorrow afternoon. I told her I couldnt and that I would be working (which is true). I thought she would leave me alone but then she had the nerve to say, "Well WHEN CAN YOU GIVE ME A RIDE TOMORROW"? AND WHAT TIME DO YOU START WORKING"? I wanted to tell her off but I live in a small building and didnt want people to bad mouth me. So I caved in and now I have to drive her and her stupid bird to the SPCA tomorow at 11. She didnt even offer to give me any gas money!! I don't even like her, she's a nosy old bag and always asks my when I'm going back to finsih my college degree and should move back in with my parents. I also heard on the weather channel that we are getting freezing rain tomorrow, and it's a bad road up there. Am I overreacting or is this lady just using me? (link)

I am a 20-year-old woman and have a friend of eight years whom I'm trying to break it off with. She calls me her "best" friend but lately I've realized I don't even like her -- I mostly stay with her out of habit. I mean, she is an okay person and I wish her the best, but I'm not especially fond of her and I'm tired of having to support her and let her cry on my shoulder all the time (this happens a lot, as she has a rough life and some issues with depression and cutting). She also has a tendency to get angry over very small things, and after I had to apologize for the 100th time for making some little remark which would not have offended anyone but her, I realized I didn't want to be friends anymore -- I am not getting enough out of the relationship for what I put in. I thought I could "lose touch" with her and the relationship could die a natural death, so I've avoided her for a month, not returned calls and so on. But she has come to me and demanded to know why I am acting this way.
If I tell her the truth -- that I'm not angry but don't want to talk her -- she'll never believe that. If I tell her I don't like her behavior (getting mad so easily etc), she will apologize and promise to change, I will get softhearted and forgive her, then after a few weeks she'll get mad at me again for no reason and round and round we go. (I know because this has happened before.) How do I resolve this without (A) deeply hurting her or (B) leaving me stuck in a friendship that does nothing for me? (link)

My best friend really has changed. We both moved into this new neighborhood, me a bit before her. I was very shy, and she wasnt. I was her firt friend here, and soon we became best friends. Thnx to her I started going out more, and we made a lot of friends in the park and stuff. But lately she's been leaving me out. She calls me to go to the park, and as soon as we get der, and she sees the guy she likes she ditches me. She's changed, and lately I've been feeling like she uses me only when she needs me. And I've told her, but she still doesnt change.I was never good at interacting, so she changed me for the good. And I've become kinda dependant on her.
