New Years Eve, aka tomorrow night is my friend Lisa's birthday. She is throwing a small party that starts at three thirty. My friend Jenny and I want to go to another party that is kind of late at night. Lisa never really articulated when her party was over and doesn't really seem to express interest in late night stuff. So me and Jenny are confused if it's rude to leave her party at 11 or so to go to the other one because we really, really, really don't want to hurt Lisa's feelings.
No its not rude. 7 1/2 hours is PLENTY of time to spend at someone's party. Infact you'll probably be leaving her party before 11:00 if you say she isn't into late night stuff.

Okay this may sound really dumb or something but it really needs to be answerd cause i really need the help.My friend had wanted to kill herself and then her mom had put her into a center to get the help that she needs(good for her!!).But the problem is that she is on drugs and she drinks a lot and she is only 12 or 13 years old.Well i tries to kill myself a few weeks ago and now i'm fine but my question is that should i be her friend still and hang out with her even though that she wanted to do something that i tried?Cause my fear is that she will want me to think of doing that again?Plzz help.

You should still be her friend. Right now, she NEEDS a good friend, someone she can talk to. And since you were going through a similar problem, she can probably feel comfortable talking to you. As for being a bad influence on you, hopefully after she gets out of this center, she won't be suicidal anymore. And even if she is, I REALLY don't think she would try to make YOU commit suicide. Well, I have two best friends, and i feel like the third wheel. Although they say im not, I feel like it and my parents see it too. I dont know if I should split off from them, or hang on? If you're not happy, then definately try to find new friends. But still stick to being friends with these 2 girls.. You just don't have to call them your 'best friends.' Find new best friends, friends that don't make you feel left out, and are positive, happy people.

About a week and a half ago I saw my best friend Dylan over the weekend. We just hung out and went to the mall. We later on went back to his house. When ever I see him we kiss and cuddle and I love it more then anything. My parents picked me up at his house around 10:30 and when I was walking out of the door he told me to call him. I called him the next day 1 time and he didnt pick up. I didnt leave a msg bc I thought that he would see my # and call me back but he didnt. I havent talked to him in over a week and I miss him a lot. I thought by now he would call me, but he hasn't. I am not sure if I should call him because latly it seems like he and I are drifting a part. I live 20 mins away from him so I dont get to see him much. Its like we dont talk, and then I will go in town and see him, we'll chill with eachother, then I will leave and go home and we wont talk for a few weeks. I want to call him but I dont want to be one of those girls that call's the a guy all the time. Its like we are bf/gf, we are only good friends. Should I call him and talk to him and tell him that I miss him? Its kind of a more then friends thing bc I think I am in love with him. What do I do?
Call him again, but don't call him like all the time or anything. Since it's been a week, I think it would be a good idea for you to call him and you wouldn't seem annoying. And if he doesn't answer, definately leave a message. But don't say anything in the msg like 'I miss you" or something, just be like "Hey_____ it's _____, just callin to say hey, call me back when you get a chance! (phone #). And definately get his sn so you can talk to him whenever you want without having to call him. And that way you can keep in touch and you won't seem annoying or pushy. Good luck!

Ok i know this guy online and he thinks im rich .I met him because he made this site called y terror and i went to it and ever since then we became good friends.Well to get to the point he is selling ALL his sites that he worked so hard @ to get money for a car and i dont even think he is using it for a car so i LIED i know i feel really bad now .. and i said i would give him the 800 dollors so he wouldnt have to sale his site now he thinks since i promised him i would send him money from western union that he will get it but the truth is when he goes the money wont be there because i dont have it either and when i lied and said ill give it to him he said

Wow. No offense but this guy sounds REALLY creepy. It sounds like every word coming out of his mouth is a lie. It's probably all just a scam, he is trying to get ur money, and at the same time he is trying to get laid. So if I were you, I would try to lose contact with him. Don't give him ANY of your personal info (last name, phone #, address etc) and block him (if ur using AIM) and don't reply to any of his emails or anything.

Are you very close to her? She has a family of her own now and might feel that you are being too clingy to her. Just give her some space. But be sure to keep in contact with her and don't let your relationship disappear.

I'm Jewish too. :-) And why would she get offended if you called it a "Holiday present?" Thats dumb. Just call it a Hanukkah present, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, thats what it IS! And the last night of Hanukkah was Tuesday night (December 14) so you're a little bit late, but I'm sure she won't mind. A lot of my friends give me presents around christmas, because that's when they give all of their other friends presents, so im sure you friend is used to getting late Hanukkah presents. And as to what you should give her, just give her the same type of present as you should give one of your christian friends. You know, just like a cd or jewelry or a gift card or something. Jews are no different from christians when it comes to giving/recieving presents!! hope i helped!

You should ask both the guy and your friend to the movies or something.. have them sit next to each other. And like get up and go to the bathroom or something, let them have some alone time together. Help them to get to know eachother.

Well okay, here's my situation... My parents work all the time and I usually need a ride... Well my friend opted for the position and I know I do at times get annoying and ask a lot of her parents to take me around and do errands because my own parents can't... So, I give her parents gifts and things like that to thank them for taking me around... And now my friend is really getting agitated about her having to drive me around all the time when her parents don't mind at all... So.. What should I do because I mean I'm always nice to her and her parents but she is just getting on me for asking her parents to take me around...
She might just be getting sick of seeing you all the time (I dont mean for that so sound rude lol). Just ignore her. It's her problem, she can deal with it herself. You shouldn't feel pressure to go out with someone if u dont really like them. So if u dont like either one of them, then just stick to being friends! It sounds like you've been thinking about your best friend a lot lately. He's definitately been on your mind. Does this guy have a girlfriend right now that maybe subconsciously you are jealous of? Or maybe you've been seeing him flirting with other girls lately and you don't know it but you are jealous because you have feelings for him. Or maybe you DONT have feelings for him like that, but you are simply afraid that someday your best friend will be taken away from you by another woman and he won't be your best friend anymore. Okay I have a guy friend 'Alexander' I know Alex from my tap dance, we are in the same class together and I sort of befriended him because he was extremely nice. Well he loves to dance, and he is really gifted but all the other girls in the class are being really really mean to him. He has such a friendly attitude that he goes up everyone and says hi, even the 'In' group which he wants to be a part of so badly. I honestly don't know why he would want to be nice to stuck up know-it-alls but thats just my opinion talking there. They give him threats and say he is gay, plus all his friends at school make fun of him and call him gay also. He was so hurt when told me all this he was near tears, I felt sooo sorry for him. I feel sorry for him because I have been the only person that has been nice to him, and I tend to want to make fun of guys and call guys names.
He told me how hurt he was last week and that he had made himself come to dance that day. I do understand how he feels, My entire life I have been made fun of.
my problem is I like Alex and I know I shouldn't because i'm setting myself up for pain. I want to stay away from him but then I would be hurting Alex because he would think I didn't like him either. I think you should tell him how you feel. Right now, Alex's self-esteem is zero. When he finds out that a girl actually likes him.. as more than friends i mean, that will make his confidence go way up. And what makes u think he doesnt like u? Maybe he does because ur the only one who has actually been nice to him. So tell him how u feel, and if it turns out that he doesnt like u, then atleast u know u made him feel good, and u can still be friends.

im in 8th grade (13 / female) and well in my gym class this year i have like no one to talk to.. there's the popular girls that somehow have the same class together .. the unpopulars, the geeks, the preps, and some of the jocks, and then there's me .. i dont really fit in to any of those categories (i guess i`m just average) .. well heres the real problem i actually do have a friend in my class, lets call her Monica but she doesnt even look at me, I guess shes embarassed to be seen with me or something cuz the whole class long she hangs out with this girl lets call her Jessica. And well when they hang out together their like all BFF and they really kinda arent .. anyways should i tell Monica or not ( like she knows i want to switch classes but i never told her why) . .what should i do ?

Maybe u could try to make some friends ur class. Like see if there is someone else who looks like he/she doesnt have anyone to talk to either, and then start talking to him/her.
