I just started my Sophmore year of highschool. From the begining of Freshman year 'til now, I've lost MANY friends for stupid reasons. Mainly because I got into a fight with one girl that I was best friends with and then she got all of her friends to hate me too. Which was about 15 people. How nice right?
Anyway, I have a reputation of being a bitch. Because.. Well, I CAN be. But I'm really not when you get to know me.
I really want to try to change my reputation on being a bitch, I want to show people that I AM a good person and attempt to make new friends. But I really need help on changing my reputation. Any ideas?
first of all dont care about what people say about you. YOU know your not a bitch.. so dont sweat it. when people take the time and effort to get to know you then put yourself foward as well. but if someone wont give you the time of day then you know their NOT worth it. as for your rep. just try and be really friendly. try and talk to EVERYONE and not just the "cool" people because it always helps to be cool with a lot of people. and its always a good idea to compliment people. even if you dont know them.. just always be positive and smile = )

Im 15/f and a senior in my school and I are friends. okay. i have these two friends. actually i introduced them to each other in the first place. and all thru 8th grade they constantly left me out and then during freshman year, i started hangin out more n more with the other girl. but now they're back to ditching me. and they only call me whenever the other isn't around. and whenever i try and say how im feeling about it they get pissed and say im over reacting. i just dont know what to do. and i know i should have more self respect than to let them use me, but like id rather have company sometimes then be alone all the time. does that make any sense?
and i know i probably should just go out and make new friends. but im kinda shy so its really hard to make friends. for example freshman year i made one new friend named kayla. and half way thru the year me and kayla both liked the same guy. and it ended up with me having more of a chance than she did so she suddenly got all hostile and started threatening me. i mean over a guy. i just dropped tryin to get with the guy. because like id want friends over guys but she just wouldn't talk to me and was threatenin to beat me up, and thats the last thing i needed. so as you can see. my ability to make friends isn't very great. so i just dont know what to do. im either used or threatened .. but i dont wanna be alone all the time. it just gets boring.

NEVER let people treat you like that. they will just get the impression that they can use you whenever they want. im glad you spoke up but you need to make your presence KNOWN.. tell them it pisses you off and if they're only going to run to you when the other one is busy then dont let them.. i mean why cant you ALL hang out together.. hmm exactly. if these girls are going to treat you like that.. then you REALLY need to get some new friends. i mean you even told them how you feel and they brush you off. if they dont care.. why should you. it may be hard making new friends but your going to have to. your going to have to do a lot of stuff in life that you dont like and this might be one of them. im sure you have other friends that you talk to.. maybe online or at school.. ask them 2 hang out sometime. join clubs/sports at school its a GREAT way 2 meet new people and make friends. seriously! and at school isnt the only place to meet people. there are plenty of other places. how about hanging out with cousins..cousin's friends.. and neighbors and people like that. go to clubs/the movies/ or the mall and you can meet a lot of great people. just try and overcome your shyness. you have nothin to lose. and just remember you DONT need to do anything you dont want to in order to impress people. if they dont like you. awww.. im very sure he doesnt hate you. theres a reason he's acting like this. as for now i say give him some space because if he doesnt want to talk to you right now. respect that and leave him alone. after a while try to start talking to him again. tell him exactly what you told me. tell him how YOU feel and he should come around. i bet the whole thing is a misunderstanding. friendships after relationships usually dont run smoothly. so just let him know you want to be there for him and that you care about him very much. i bet that should do it. good luck sweetie = )
