hi, I am a girl who is 13. I always act mature for my age, and have friend's who are always older than me. Is this normal?

umm..yea your just going threw a stage...there are more peoples like you...having freinds older then you is great!! dont feel bad...but your still younge..and your want to enjow that...dont give it up now...you have the chanve to be mature when you become an adult...make you childhood a great one...and be a kid!! you only have one chance to be a kid!! odnt waste it ;)

Yes its perfectly normal, some people just mature faster and have older friends because they seem to relate to them more or get along with mature people better.

well. it matters about how much older they are if it's the most 4 years then its normal. but if it is more then not really. but if you like them then age doesn't matter.

Of course it's normal. I was a lot more mature than my friends and others when I was 13 (I was also in 8th grade and for a few months a freshman in high school at 13)
But I talk to lots of 13 year olds and I'm almost 15 and they're more mature than your average 13 year old girl who constantly types in chatspeak and says "lol" way too much.
But I do think it's perfectly normal if that makes you feel any better.

I won't lie to you. I s not normal, but there is nothing whatsoever that is wrong with it. Why would you even doubt your friends? I have friends that are older than me, younger than me, and the same age as me and its perfectly ok.

Yeah it is normal. when I was little, like say 8 I was smart I had friends older than me, the oldest was 18 years old. Now I have friends my age their all like my sisters and brothers I never had. Like I said it is normal.

In my opinion i think that is toally normal. i have friends that are older then me, some that are younger, & some that are my age. it doesn't matter cuz everyone is differnt.

It's normal, but you shouldn't really expect much from older friends. You haven't gone through the stages that an older girl has, so your older friends will probably confide in people who are the same age as them because you don't---couldn't--- understand (however mature you are, you can't understand these kinds of things because they can only be understood by experience) what they're going through. So while you can still value your older friends, but I suggest you find friends of your own age as well so you're not dependent upon them for friends

Im 15 Now But I Have ALWAYS Had Friends Older Than Me... But Keep In Mind The Things They Do (sex, drugs) That You Might Not Be Comfortable With... You Might Wanna Find A Different Crew... And Also Watch Out For Older Guys... Try Not To Go More Than A Year, Year And A Half... Speaking From Personal Expirence... They May Seem A Thousand Times Better Than Guys Your Age But They Are Still Boys... And They All Think The Same... Hope I Helped...

yeah very normal. you're actually lucky, because not many people at age 13 are mature. haha so its good =) older friends can teach you a lot too.

Its absolutely normal. We want friends who share common interests and if you relate to more mature people...so be it. Nothing wrong with that. :)
