VainTaraLynn answered Friday August 26 2005, 4:32 am: Yes its perfectly normal, some people just mature faster and have older friends because they seem to relate to them more or get along with mature people better. [ VainTaraLynn's advice column | Ask VainTaraLynn A Question ]
chunkychula answered Thursday August 25 2005, 6:45 pm: well. it matters about how much older they are if it's the most 4 years then its normal. but if it is more then not really. but if you like them then age doesn't matter. [ chunkychula's advice column | Ask chunkychula A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Thursday August 25 2005, 2:19 am: Of course!!! Friends are friends; regardless of age! Just as long as you don't catch yourself hang out at a 50 year old man's home without your parents present also... =] [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
S_C answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 9:21 pm: Of course it's normal. I was a lot more mature than my friends and others when I was 13 (I was also in 8th grade and for a few months a freshman in high school at 13)
But I talk to lots of 13 year olds and I'm almost 15 and they're more mature than your average 13 year old girl who constantly types in chatspeak and says "lol" way too much.
But I do think it's perfectly normal if that makes you feel any better. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
passionate answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 8:46 pm: I won't lie to you. I s not normal, but there is nothing whatsoever that is wrong with it. Why would you even doubt your friends? I have friends that are older than me, younger than me, and the same age as me and its perfectly ok.
geminic17 answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 8:44 pm: Yeah it is normal. when I was little, like say 8 I was smart I had friends older than me, the oldest was 18 years old. Now I have friends my age their all like my sisters and brothers I never had. Like I said it is normal. [ geminic17's advice column | Ask geminic17 A Question ]
GossipGirl56 answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 8:32 pm: In my opinion i think that is toally normal. i have friends that are older then me, some that are younger, & some that are my age. it doesn't matter cuz everyone is differnt.

TwinkleToes answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 8:24 pm: It's normal, but you shouldn't really expect much from older friends. You haven't gone through the stages that an older girl has, so your older friends will probably confide in people who are the same age as them because you don't---couldn't--- understand (however mature you are, you can't understand these kinds of things because they can only be understood by experience) what they're going through. So while you can still value your older friends, but I suggest you find friends of your own age as well so you're not dependent upon them for friends [ TwinkleToes's advice column | Ask TwinkleToes A Question ]
marleychik answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 7:43 pm: DEFINATLY!!!
Im 15 Now But I Have ALWAYS Had Friends Older Than Me... But Keep In Mind The Things They Do (sex, drugs) That You Might Not Be Comfortable With... You Might Wanna Find A Different Crew... And Also Watch Out For Older Guys... Try Not To Go More Than A Year, Year And A Half... Speaking From Personal Expirence... They May Seem A Thousand Times Better Than Guys Your Age But They Are Still Boys... And They All Think The Same... Hope I Helped...
kewlness answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 7:34 pm: If you have older friends thats GREAT! it is also good to have friends your age because the older ones will get sick of you.
xomegaroni answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 7:21 pm: yeah very normal. you're actually lucky, because not many people at age 13 are mature. haha so its good =) older friends can teach you a lot too.
karenR answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 7:08 pm: Its absolutely normal. We want friends who share common interests and if you relate to more mature people...so be it. Nothing wrong with that. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
